• eConnect timesheet entry multicurrency issue

  Hello, I'm trying to use econnect to insert TimeSheet Entry batches from an external system via "taPATimeSheetLineInsert". When using the fuctionnal currency everything works fine. The problem is that when I use another currency, the ACCRUED REVENUES are set to 0. I tried to enter the same entry manually in GP and the accrued revenues are OK. When you take a look at it in the UI everything is the same in both timesheet entryes. (I specifed the currency id which is different from the functionnal currency and I provide a PAUNITCOST as requested by eConnect.) If I look into the PA10001 TABLE, there are differences between the record inserted manually and the one inserted with eConnect as the value of "PA_Base_Billing_Rate" and "PAORIGBSBILLRTE" are set to 0. The ACCRUED REVENUE COLUMN is evidently different as well. There is no option in taPATimeSheetLineInsert that can help me so I don't know what to do to make it work! Please help!

I think it could be possible to look for specials pages from the server (404, wrong parameters, ...) in some cases, but what about the everyday use ? In fact, I look for a collection of great (or wide used) website using the java technology, and I can't really find a list of these. • PDF Disable Anti-alias on Lines

  I'm creating a dynamically generated PDF using FPDF. My PDF requires many exactly horizontal/vertical lines in a grid and when rendered they are anti-aliased and look very fuzzy and unacceptable to the client. I need to remove the anti-aliasing for these(or all) lines in the doc. I know this is possible because it's shown correctly in the adobe pdf specs itself http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/PDF32000_2008.pdf (warning: big file) see the box in page 2 for how this should look. How would I duplicate the box shown on this page?

• Parameterized SQL statements vs. very simple method

  When I started to write the first SQL-Statements in my programs I felt quite comfortable with protecting myself against SQL-Injection with a very simple method that a colleague showed me. It replaced all single quotes with two single quotes. So for example there is a searchfield in which you can enter a customername to search in the customertable. If you would enter Peter's Barbershop The SELECT Statement would look like SELECT * FROM Customers WHERE Customername = 'Peter''s Barbershop' If now an attacker would insert this: ';DROP TABLE FOO; -- The statement would look like: SELECT * FROM Customers WHERE Customername = ''';DROP TABLE FOO;--' It would not drop any table, but search the customertable for the customername ';DROP TABLE FOO;-- which, I suppose, won't be found ;-) Now after a while of writing statements and protecting myself against SQL-Injection with this method, I read that many developers use parameterized statements, but I never read an article where "our" method was used. So definitely there is a good reason for it. What scenarios would parameterized statements cover but our method doesn't? What are the advantages of parameterized statements compared to our method?   Hi guys, I've got the scenario with two NSManagedObjects, Arm and Person. Between them is a many-to-one relationship Person.arms and inverse Arm.owner. I'd like to write a simple NSPredicate where I've got the NSManagedObject *arm and I'd like to fetch the NSManagedObject *person that this arm belongs to. I could make a textual representation and look for that, but is there a better way where I can look it up by identity? Something like this perhaps? • PredicateBuilder "And" Method not working

  I have downloaded the predicate builder and am having a difficult time getting it to work with the entity framework. Here is my code: v_OrderDetail is the entity var context = new OrdersEntities(); Expression<Func<v_OrderDetail,bool>> whereClause = w => true; var predicate = PredicateBuilder.True<v_OrderDetail>(); predicate.And(w => w.Status == "Work"); var results = context.v_OrderDetail.AsExpandable().Where(predicate); When I look at the results I get back every order. The And predicate doesn't seem to take. When I look at the predicate.parameters.count it only shows 1. I'm not sure, but I would expect it to show 2 after I add the second one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

• WPF TreeView: How to style selected items with rounded corners like in Explorer

  The selected item in a WPF TreeView has a dark blue background with "sharp" corners. That looks a bit dated today: I would like to change the background to look like in Explorer of Windows 7 (with/without focus): What I tried so far does not remove the original dark blue background but paints a rounded border on top of it so that you see the dark blue color at the edges and at the left side - ugly. Interestingly, when my version does not have the focus, it looks pretty OK: I would like to refrain from redefining the control template as shown here or here. I want to set the minimum required properties to make the selected item look like in Explorer. Alternative: I would also be happy to have the focused selected item look like mine does now when it does not have the focus. When losing the focus, the color should change from blue to grey. • Eclipse antRunner command line build has wrong dependency build order

  My team's Eclipse RCP app builds fine from the Eclipse IDE. When I try to build it from the command line, using the antRunner application, it builds the plugins out of order -- a plugin builds before it's dependencies are built, and so can't resolve some of the needed classes. Where should I look to fix this? As far as I can tell, the dependencies are set up correctly (a feature that depends on a plugin that depends on another plugin). I have my build.properties and folder structure set up as specified here. Is there anything else I should look at?

• Why is Yahoo Indexing Bot considered as "evil"?

  After reading and commenting on this question PHP Library for Keeping your site index by Google, Bing, etc, I was curious to look at StackOverFlow's sitemap. This returned a 404 error which I am guessing is just a protected page by determining if your are a Index Bot or simply doesnt exists. This then lead me to look at the robots.txt for StackOverFlow. I was surprised to see the comment "Yahoo bot is evil" along with a couple other Indexing bots (Spinn3r and KSCrawler) . I am unfamilular with Spinn3r and KSCrawler but my question is, why are these bots (particular Yahoo) considered as evil? Surely any and all indexing of any Search Engine is a good thing?

  We are interested in finding out some statistics of various frameworks Mailing list activity on say richfaces. Much similar to what is available on http://code.google.com (Low, Medium, High) + average number of emails per day | per month. Number of releases made in a year including patch, minor, major releases. We did look at the maven repositories but that wasn't very useful either. We did look at ohloh, but didn't get the desired information. Any other ideas on where to get this information (any maven-2 plugins)?

  Hi, our webapp collects huge amount of data about user actions, network business, database load, etc etc etc All data is stored in warehouses and we have quite a lot of interesting views on this data. if something odd happens chances are, it shows up somewhere in the data. However, to manually detect if something out of the ordinary is going on, one has to continually look through this data, and look for oddities. My question: what is the best way to detect changes in dynamic data which can be seen as 'out of the ordinary'. Are bayesan filters (I've seen these mentioned when reading about spam detection) the way to go? Any pointers would be great! EDIT: To clarify the data for example shows a daily curve of database load. This curve typically looks similar to the curve from yesterday In time this curve might change slowly. It would be nice that if the curve from day to day changes say within some perimeters, a warning could go off. R

I need to traverse the list and combine it so that I only have one instance of the structure per date. For example: My initial list would look like this: { (Apr10, 3), (Apr10, 2), (Apr10, -3), (May10, 1), (May10, 1), (May10, -3), (Jun10, 3) } The resulting list should look like this: { (Apr10, 2), (May10, -1), (Jun10, 3) } I'm looking for a simple / efficient solution. But it seems to me that samples in articles and videos are very easy. I think that it's easy to learn how to apply these patterns when you can look on some projects. So I'd like to look on real projects(Winforms/WPF), which use MVC, MVP or MVVM. Could you provide me links to sources of such projects? (If it is open source) It will be great if projects will have unit tests for Controller/Presenter/ViewModel, because it's one of my problem when I develop applications. Thanks in advance.

  I have J2ME code, which I want to be able to compile using the J2ME Polish preprocessor or the wtkpreprocessor (antenna). They mostly use the same directives so it usually works, but ... When I want to insert an URL value in the Java code this gives a problem. • Multiple webservices in 1 ear/ejb project

  We have a ejb project (which is in an ear) that shares quite a bit of code between 2 webservices. The classes that the webservices expose are in different packages but they have different names. For example Web service1 com.d.trunk.Response WS1.process( com.d.trunk.Input ); Web service2 com.d.fwd.Response WS2.process( com.d.fwd.Input ); So this builds fine, but when we deploy and we view the generated wsdl and the generated xsd things begin to go a bit haywire. So if we look at web service 2 it generates the wsdl and xsd as we expect. But when we look at ws 1's wsdl for some reason it includes the xsd from the ws 2 and its own xsd. And its own xsd are missing key types like the Response type. Is this an issue because we have 2 web services in 1 ejb project? Or some config issue with Netbeans 6.7.1 and glassfish v2?
