• SCOM2012 monitor detail changes on switch

  Could I use SCOM2012 monitor the changes on switch(CISCO 3750 2960 4906 etc), such as VLAN changes, Port shutdown, open any services on switch. I noticed there is one reports named configuration changes report, but seems like no any detail configuration could be monitor on switch? Should I download any MP to monitor the detail changes on SW. • Set default reminder pattern to iCal Calendar/Group

  Hi all I have in iCal some Calendars/Groups named Birthday, Exams and Holidays. Now I am wondering if I can assign a default reminder pattern to all Exams events, for example: 2 Weeks before, 1 Week before, 2 Days before. The result should be that I don't have to specify each time the reminder pattern of an event in Exams when I create a New one. NOTE: If iCal can't do this, is it maybe possible do that through an automator action etc.?

• Per directory ignore in TextMate

  I love idea of TextMate that any directory opened in it is already a project. But sometimes I it would be good to ignore files for certain dir and I don't like idea of creating project file in that dir or remembering how I named project file in some special folder like ~/.tmproject. Is there some sort of plugin or something like this which will allow me to ignore files in dir? Perfect solution would be reading .gitignore file.

  I'm moving from one VPS to another, and I figured that the simplest way to transfer data would be rsync. However, the data is owned by a user, www-data, which doesn't have ssh privileges, and I'd like it to be owned by the same (named) user on the target machine. Obviously I need all file permissions preserved. I have SSH access via another user with sudo privileges on both machines. Is this possible to do this with rsync?

• Forgotten account password

I now can't get into Windows Server 2008 R2 as I can't remember the administrator or named account credentials and have no password reset disk. This is on a VM (VM Player - which btw is temp till I get Hyper-V). How can I get back in? If I make AD can I join the server to AD and then set a domain account?

  I use rsync to mirror a number of folders on our failover server. However, some of our files, such as thumbnails or full-text indexes, are generated by our applications under the web user (named 'nobody'), and default to restrictive permissions. Also, I'm doing this over ssh, where root access is disabled, and I'd like to keep it that way, if possible. Is there any reasonable way I can tell rsync to run as sudo? Or should I look into changing the file permissions? Thanks

• Shouldn't emesene themes change the emesene indicator icon?

Here's the error I'm getting: The TCP/IP connection to the host <instance_name>, port 1433 has failed. Error: Connection refused: connect. Is the firewall blocking my access or what? Should I dedicate a different port for this application?
