  • How to remove "Standard Error" column from xtable() output of an lm on R/RSweave/LaTeX

    I'm currently doing some data analysis on population data, so reporting the standard errors in the tables of parameter coefficients just doesn't really make statistical sense. I've done a fair bit of searching and can't find any way to customize the xtable output to remove it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot, I didn't post this lightly; if it's something obvious, I apologize for having wasted time!

  • Opencv video frame not showing Sobel output

    This is a continuation question from Opencv video frame giving me an error I think I closed it off, Im new to Stackoverflow. I have code below that Im trying to see its Sobel edge image. However the program runs but the output is just a grey screen where if I mouseover the cursor disappears.     Hi, I have the following simple DLL in c++ un-managed code; extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) void ArrayMultiplier(float (*pointerArray)[3], int scalar, int length); void ArrayMultiplier(float (*pointerArray)[3], int scalar, int length) { for (int i = 0 ; i < length ; length++) { for (int j = 0; j < 3; j++) { pointerArray[i][j] = pointerArray[i][j] * scalar; } } } I have tried writing the following wrapper function for the above in c#: [DllImport("sample.dll")] public static extern void ArrayMultiplier(ref float elements, int scalar, int length); where elements is a 2 dimentional 3x3 array: public float[][] elements = { new float[] {2,5,3}, new float [] {4,8,6}, new float [] {5,28,3} }; The code given above compiles, but the program crashes when the wrapper function is called: Wrapper.ArrayMultiplier(ref elements, scalar, length); Please help me here, and tell me whats wrong with the code above, or how a wrapper can be written for a simple c++ function: void SimpleFunction(float (*pointerToArray)[3]); Thank you all in advance

I would like this function to be called with the appropiate index. Hope I explain myself, thanks in advance.

    I have a simple class, relevant details below: @PersistenceCapable(identityType = IdentityType.APPLICATION) public class SimpleCategory implements Serializable{ ... public static enum type{ Course, Category, Cuisine } @Persistent public type t; ... } I am attempting to query all SimpleCategory objects of the same type. public SimpleCategory[] getCategories(SimpleCategory.type type) { PersistenceManager pm = PMF.get().getPersistenceManager(); try{ Query q = pm.newQuery(SimpleCategory.class); q.setFilter("t == categoryType"); q.declareParameters("SimpleCategory.type categoryType"); List<SimpleCategory> cats = (List<SimpleCategory>) q.execute(type); ... } This results in a ClassNotResolvedException for SimpleCategory.type. The google hits I've found so far recommended to: Use query.declareImports to specify the class i.e. q.declareImports("com.test.zach.SimpleCategory.type"); Specify the fully qualified name of SimpleCategory in declareParameters Neither of these suggestions has worked. By removing .type and recompiling, I can verify that declareParameters can see SimpleCategory just fine, it simply cannot see the SimpleCategory.type, despite the fact that the remainder of the method has full visibility to it. What am I missing?

  • Passing data to a jQuery click() function

    Hi I have a simple span like so <span class="action removeAction">Remove</span> This span is within a table, each row has a remove span. And then I call a URL using AJAX when that span is clicked. The AJAX event needs to know the ID of the object for that row? What is the best way of getting that ID into the click function? I thought I could do something like this <span class="action removeAction" id="1">Remove</span> But an ID should not start with a number? Right? Then I thought I could do <span class="action removeAction" id="my1">Remove</span> Then just strip the 'my' part from the ID, but that just seems Yuk! Below is my click event and where my AJAX event is. <script type="text/javascript" language="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $(".removeAction").click(function() { //AJAX here that needs to know the ID } }); </script> I am sure there is a nice way of doing this? But on two peers' laptops (windows 7 64 bit and windows 8 64bit) they return file dlls not found or (in the case of the first one) file *.* not found Can someone shed some light here? The only difference I can see between the machines is possibly permissions. But I don't see how that would affect xcopy's ability to recognize a local path.

    I am using SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Studio and struggling with returning an integer value from a very simple execute SQL Task. For a very simple test, I wrote the SQL Statement as: Select 35 As 'TotalRecords' Then, I specified ResultSet as ResultName = TotalRecords and VariableName = User::TotalRecords When I execute this, the statement is executed but the variable doesn't have the updated value. However, it has the default value that I specified while variable definition. The return of a date variable works, but integer variable isn't working. The type of User::TotalRecords specified is Int32 in a package scope. Thanks for any hints

  • Get file size of BufferedImage before writing the data

    I'm working on a Java program that needs to send an image (preferably in PNG format, though I could perhaps use another format if necessary) over the network. The logical way to do this is, of course, to first send the length of the PNG image data, then the data itself. Problem: I don't see any method in ImageIO or anywhere else that will give me the length of the image data. Does this exist somewhere in the Java 1.6 standard library? I know I could just write it to a ByteArrayOutputStream and get the length of the resulting array, but before resorting that I wanted to make sure I'm not missing something built in. And besides, that makes an extra copy of the image data, which I'd rather not do if it's not necessary.
