    I recently started learning JavaFX. At the moment I can't build any JavaFX project with Java class in Eclipse. For every input I get error "package does not exist" Path to JRE is set in project's properties. Same class compiles if it is Java-project (not JavaFx). What should I check in project settings or Eclipse prefferences?

Curently my application supports only english keyboard layout. I have put radiobutton with options English and Danish.     With the latest Xcode and SDK 3.0 beta when you create a new iPhone project, Xcode creates an SDK 3.0 project. If I want to revert to SDK 2.2.1 after the project has been created, I need to change something in the generated source code files since some of the APIs have changed. Is there a simple way to specify at project creation time the SDK I want to use explicitly? Thank you in advance

  • How do I lock the layout of my android program to one orientation

    I'm trying to write a program that needs smooth orientation sensor samples as the phone is rotated all around. Every time the orientation of the phone is changed, it interrupts the data and freezes the program while the layout changes. How can I lock it in one orientation (landscape or portrait, it doesn't matter)? I assume it has something to do with android:layout in the xml file, but I can't find anything online.

Now I want to install it on Android mobile using Phonegap 1.8. The problem is that the project is too big and the emulator shows that there is no space on the devive My question is how can I clean the project from unused folders, specially the ones in sdk directory?

Now I am thinking that if selecting the project to be a flex project instead of as3 project I would have a lot of flex functionality like a swf loader,preloaders and the popup manager etc. The graphic components would obviously have been made in flash and used through the swc (avoiding the heavy mxml components).     Authorize attribute are good to do some access control base on Action but suppose that I have some UI element in the layout that should note be output unless the user is authorize. I could possibly set some boolean in the ViewBag but that is not the good solution I guess. Somewhere in the Layout.cshtml: @if (ViewBag.IsAuthorized) { <li>@Html.ActionLink("Index", "Admin")</li> } Let me know if there is a better solution. Thanks.

  • deploying project to tomcat ROOT

    I have deployed my project to tomcat root, and it works fine without any problem. To acheive this I created a ROOT file TOMCAT_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/ROOT.xml with content below: <Context docBase="/home/user/project.war" path="" reloadable="true" /> So right now I can see my project under localhost:8080/ without any problem.. but I don't know where my project has been extracted, there is even no ROOT directory under TOMCAT_HOME/webapps, any idea?
