  • IE6 (yes, IE6) css spacing issue

    Hey Guys I'm basically building this page which obviously works fine in all browsers apart from IE6, where a small space appears below the cart. The background also has a gap in it in IE6, so I'm wondering what my be causing that, as it's probably related to the main issue.   • Validate subset of a form using jQuery Validate plugin

    My HTML form has a number of divs that are the steps of a wizard. Upon clicking a "next" button I want to validate just the active div. I'm using the jQuery.Validate.js plugin. Each div has an ID, so I want a way to say something like: wizardForm.validate().element('#first-step :input') but this only validates the first input, not all of them. How can I validate all inputs within a div?

I need to use sockets in extension for peer to peer communication using UDP. Is there any firefox Jslib equivalent in google chrome or how we can use other languages in google chrome extension?   • PopulateOnDemand does not work on data bound ASP.Net TreeView

    Hi, I have a TreeView that is bound to a XmlDataSource control. I've added some TreeNodeBinding elements to define how I want the XML data to be shown. I have also added PopulateOnDemand=true to these TreeNodeBindings. However, doing so didn't change a thing and the entire XML tree is displayed. Moreover, the TreeNodePopulate event is not fired on node expand as well. Important information: I'm using ASP.NET 4. Via code, go through all tree nodes and set their PopulateOnDemand property to true. Nothing worked. The only way the populate-on-demand thing worked was when I added nodes manually to the nodes instead of binding it to a data source. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi all, I know a lot so far about this exception. But I am wondering, if any of you tried to use AdWords API on GAE. AdWords uses Axis as underlying WS library, which do not work on GAE and unfortunately I cannot find solution to make it working. But i don't think I am getting this far. The armoury has a cross domain policy file on it - this may be the cause of the error (not sure! I have uploaded to a production server I am testing it locally using IIS website I am going insane! Websites have made the suggestion that this problem can be overcome by creating a WebProxy - but I haven't the first clue how to do this. It would be great if someone could take on this challenge and show us all that it is possible. I'd prefer a non-proxy solution first, then try a proxy.     Hi, I have dynamically added a Flex Object in a HTML page through JavaScript. The Flex object is located in a "div" tag. Now when I call the "removeChild" JavScript function to remove the dynamically added "Object" tag, the object tag gets removed succesfully; however the memory that has increased due to the loading of the Flex Object is never recollected by IE. Even if I refresh the browser the memory is still not cleared. How do I recollect the memory that was allocayed to my Flex Object?

  • Yahoo OAuth implementation has no way to work offline

    I need to download my Delicious bookmarks to a non-web application without constant user interaction. I'm using Delicious's V2 API (using oAuth) but the problem is it seems their access tokens expire after one hour. I don't have any issues with redirecting the user to Yahoo for a one time authorization, but what is described here (http://developer.yahoo.com/oauth/guide/oauth-refreshaccesstoken.html) means I would have to refresh my access tokens all the time before they expire when the user is away. Is this really the way they've done their oAuth implementation?
