  • ANN for decompiler?

    Has there ever been any attempts at utilizing artificial neural networks in decompilation? It would be nice if it was possible to provide the trimmed semantics of source along with the code in to a neural network so it could learn the connection between the two. I assume this would likely lose it's effectiveness when there is optimizations and maybe work better for high level languages too but I'm interested in hearing any attempts anyone has had at this.

  • Just curious, in NetBeans IDE 6.1 how can i get icons for my custom GUI components in the GUI editor

    This is by no means really important, i was just wondering if the community knows how to put icons for my custom GUI components that show up in the NetBeans GUI designer. What i did was make several Swing components and then i use the menu options to add them to the GUI pallete, but they show up with "?" icons. It would be nice if they showed up with icons similar to swing components such as JButtons, especially for components which are subclassed for Swing components. Thanks!

IDN ValueNa ValueNb ValueNc Looking to the first line i want value1A to be the value of id1 in fileA, value1B the value of id1 in fileB, etc, i think of it like a nice sql join.     Hello I have Motorola MC55 with Windows Mobile 6.5 on-board. This nice palm contains also an embedded bar-code scanner. My question is - Will I need anything special in .NET CF in order to use the bar-code scanner? I would expect that the bar-code are read as normal strings and delivered as keyboard events? Is any special .NET CF library necessary? Thanks for help Dominik

  • How do I determine the .NET framwork version in a partial/medium trust environment?

    I need to determine the clients .NET framework version in my web application. I'm running in partial trust so I can not read the filesystem or registry (Is there an easy way to check .net framework verison using C#?). System.Environment.Version returns the runtime version, so I can not use that. I cannot use javascript The only way I can think of at the moment is to try to load a .NET 3.5 dll and catch an exception, but this does not sound very nice. Any suggestions?

    The closest-related implementation in Haskell I have seen is the forward mode at http://hackage.haskell.org/packages/archive/fad/1.0/doc/html/Numeric-FAD.html. The closest related related research appears to be reverse mode for another functional language related to Scheme at http://www.bcl.hamilton.ie/~qobi/stalingrad/. I see reverse mode in Haskell as kind of a holy grail for a lot of tasks, with the hopes that it could use Haskell's nested data parallelism to gain a nice speedup in heavy numerical optimization.

    For things like menubars and headers, a background color is nice. But a background color that gracefully transitions from say Blue to White is even nicer. I know this can be done by making a 1-pixel wide, X-pixel tall image file containing the desired fade and repeating it across the div, but does CSS have native support to just define colors and be done with it? Can any other language handle this?

Something like this would work perfect: Public Property FirstName() As String Get Set End Property UPDATE: VB.NET 10 (coming with Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0) will have Automatic Properties.     Hi everyone, recently this post inspired me, I want to track my own life, too. I take a look at my cellphone's clock every time when go to sleep or after wake up, so I need some program to hook to my cellphone's on/off button, and log the timestamp when I press it. I am using WM6.5 on a HTC TyTN II. If there is existing software that can do this with few settings and tweaks it would be nice, but I can also write code myself. Any suggestions?
