  My Android application stores all user data in a Sqlite database. What are my options to backup/export/import/copy this data? I know I can easily copy the database to the SD card. I would also like to send the data to a network server. Are there any packages/classes available to facilitate getting sqlite information to/from a network server? Thanks for the help...

  Hi, I tried to invoke java inside bash script on windows (Win XP) using cygwin. However path to java.exe contain spaces. only literaly putting in bash sometghing like this worked: /cygdrive/c/Program\ Files/Java/jdk1.5.0_10/bin/java -cp "$TOOL_HOME" DateParse "$DATE" "$FORMAT" My attemts to put java path to a variable failed: export JAVA_EXE="/cygdrive/c/Program\ Files/Java/jdk1.5.0_10/bin/java" $JAVA_EXE -cp "$TOOL_HOME" DateParse "$DATE" "$FORMAT" also different combination with cygpath, quotes, brackets did not work. I am not finding the the right combination

  I'm using Tycho 0.16.0 and still getting the following Error: Error - 7 icon(s) not replaced in C:\Users\weich01\AppData\Local\Temp\p2.brandingIron8219115442087687624\launcher.exe using C:\Development\Workspaces\Workspace RCP SR2\de.mycompany.myproduct.product\target\products\MyProduct\de.mycompany.myproduct.feature\logo_pms_2011.ico This error should be fixed in v0.16, shouldn't it? With eclipse export everything works fine, so product definition is correct. The icon file contains bmp in all sizes. Thanks for your help

When we install the application on Windows 2008 server we get the following error while trying to open crystal report in excel format Error is : Error in File :"....rpt" Error detected by export DLL. The report opens up fine in PDF on server Opeing report in Excel works fine on my local(development) machine...But this error is thrown on server...   From our existing, internal tracking system I would like to create an XML export that I can then bring into Microsoft Project 2007 to further display and manipulation. I've been unable to find a straightforward explanation of how the XML should look for this kind of import. I want to be able to create dependencies, assign resources, etc. The Excel/CSV imports don't appear to offer all these capabilities so I think XML is the better way...if I could just get a spec for it.

  I have realised after making about 20 tables that I need to user utf8_unicode as opposed to utf8_general. What is the fastest way to change it using PHPMyAdmin? I had one idea: Export the database as SQL then using notepad run a find and replace on it and then reimport it... but it sounds like a bit of a headache. Is there a better way?

So im doing some database work and store complete html to a $str variable and then write/make new file: $fp = fopen($file, 'w+'); fwrite($fp,$str); fclose($fp); The problem here is not creating .doc file, but when i download and view that .doc file it's not in UTF-8 it's in unicode.

My first option was Jasper Reports, but the jar is over 2Mb, a little too heavy (and too bloated) for my needs.   This may be a dumb question, but I was just watching a screencast on MySQL replication, and I learned that a master database doesn't send SQL over to a slave for replication, it actually sends data over in binary, which makes importing extremely fast. I started wondering, "if a database can export and import binary, why do mysqldumps / imports take so long?" Is there a way to get mysql to dump a database in binary in a similar fashion to speed up that process as well?

• Maintain case sensitivity when importing db into windows

  I have an export from a MYSQL database on a linux machine however when importing that database into MYSQL on windows all of the table names that were camel cased are now all lower case. The sql dump has the correct case in it but the importing via phpmyadmin seams to remove these. How can I import it and keep the case? Thanks
