  Hi All, I have deployed my application on server and Now I am getting this error: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. ~~~ I have defined custom error pages for my applicatio. • How to represent a Many-To-Many relationship in XML or other simple file format?

  I have a list management appliaction that stores its data in a many-to-many relationship database. I.E. A note can be in any number of lists, and a list can have any number of notes. I also can export this data to and XML file and import it in another instance of my app for sharing lists between users. However, this is based on a legacy system where the list to note relationship was one-to-many (ideal for XML). Now a note that is in multiple lists is esentially split into two identical rows in the DB and all relation between them is lost. Question: How can I represent this many-to-many relationship in a simple, standard file format? (Preferably XML to maintain backwards compatibility)

• What is the best method of assessment for computer science students?

  This question is a bit more philosophical so feel free to remove if you like but it's been bugging me for the last 4 years! As a final year student I find that exams can be often be passed with a couple of days of cramming, without necessarily retaining or understanding the content i.e. a regurgitation of lecture notes is often enough to gain high marks. A friend of mine is about to graduate with an honours degree whose final year evaluation was based solely on practical work (a project, assignment marks and the creation of a poster) yet all of this work could have been completed by a third party. Personally I don't think either of these methods of assessment is sufficient as I am currently on track for a 1st class honours in artificial intelligence and computer science and believe this is mostly due to my skill in passing exams not my skill as a programmer or my vast in depth knowledge of any of the subjects I have "studied". Surely there is a better way to assess our skills - isn't there?

• What are some Servlet Container pros and cons for a Solr installation?

  The SolrInstall wiki page lists seven different server / Servlet Containers compatible with Solr: Tomcat Jetty Resin JBoss WebSphere Weblogic Glassfish I'm sure that "best" is subjective, so I'll just say my criteria are: easiest to set up, best for search performance with a smallish, infrequently-updated dataset, and with the fewest number of gotchas. Jetty and Tomcat both have apt-get solr packages, so they're clearly the frontrunners for some. Jetty is used in the demo install, but there's some notes that Jetty has some difficulties handling Unicode in some cases. Tomcat is a common choice but my understanding is that it's not as lightweight and has a lot of features not needed by Solr. Is it worth considering any of the others? Are there some important pro's and cons I should be aware of?

  Hello: I have a note table with columns: title :string content :text rating :integer and a thinking_sphinx configuration: define_index do indexes :title, :sortable => true indexes :content end Then I can search the notes and assign weights to title and content to define the order or the result: Note.search "abc", :match_mode => :extended, :field_weights => { :title => 10, :content => 3 } Now I want to assign a weight to the rating column The type of the rating column is integer. The range of the rating is [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. Can I just add weight at the :field_weights :field_weights => { :title => 10, :content => 3, :rating => 5 } or I need to do something else to make the note which has higer rating display first?

  Hello stackoverflow, I'm currently in Python land. This is what I need to do. I have already looked into the itertools library but it seems to only do permutations. I want to take an input list, like ['yahoo', 'wikipedia', 'freebase'] and generate every unique combination of one item with zero or more other items... ['yahoo', 'wikipedia', 'freebase'] ['yahoo', 'wikipedia'] ['yahoo', 'freebase'] ['wikipedia', 'freebase'] ['yahoo'] ['freebase'] ['wikipedia'] A few notes. • In LaTeX, is there a way to get long lines along the margins?

  I'm working on a report, and some elements are outside the margins (but some are just barely outside the margins). I was wondering: Is there a way to make two vertical lines, one on each side, along the margins so that one can easily see if it goes outside them? (Googling it, I only found information about margin notes.) A figure is below: |report text goes here| |more text goes also h|ere |and so on and so fort|h It would certainly make correcting these kinds of mistakes very trivial. :) Feel free to post answers that would solve/show this problem in a more "LaTeX-correct" way, if that makes any sense at all.

He wants to have a solution such that when somebody call to his company, the operator sees all the information about the person who is calling based on the database he have right now and the caller ID. • How to write custom SQLite functions in Javascript inside a Webkit browser?

  I have just learned how to use the SQLite database for local storage in a Webkit web browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Apple Safari) using the Javascript API. For example the "Sticky Notes" application. However, I know that SQLite has a function called sqlite_create_function() that lets you add custom functions to your instance of SQLite on the fly which can then be used inside SQL queries. This function is described at sqlite.org. I also know that you can call an equivalent of this API in Ruby as described here. QUESTION: Can anybody show me how to do this in Javascript - i.e. write a custom function in Javascript that can be bound into the SQLite database at run time to be called by the SQLite engine, and all inside a Webkit browser?

• Setting 0 margin in header using LaTeX's fancyhdr

  Hi, I'm trying to define a custom layout for my report for which I'm using fancyhdr. On the pages which contains a chapter start I want my header to contain a colorbox spanning across the whole page (0 cm margins) although keeping my defaults margin in the text area. I can get the box to span across the "margin notes" area, but not the other side. • OpenCL support on Leopard

  I want to use OpenCL in my software but I am running Leopard. I will probably update to Snow Leopard later. In the mean time I would like to get started with OpenCL in Leopard. Setting up on 10.5 is confusing: most SDKs and articles assume that you must be using Snow Leopard. Searching for "Using OpenCL on Leopard" is completely useless, as you would expect. I downloaded the cuda toolkit, devdriver and gpucomputing SDK from nvidia but the examples won't compile because OpenCL/opencl.h is not found. The OpenCL release notes don't mention MacOSX so again I think this is assuming that all Mac users are running Snow Leopard. Where can I find OpenCL includes and libraries for Mac OSX 10.5 ? Or, is this just a waste of time and I should go and get Snow Leopard ASAP ? After upgrading to Snow Leopard I would like my software to support Leopard. Is this possible ?

  I have a Person model and an Address Model: class Person < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :address accepts_nested_attributes_for :address end class Address < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :person end In my people controller I have @person.build_address in my new action. My forms builds correctly. The problem is that when I submit the form, a person record and an address record is created but they aren't linked via the address_id column in the Person table. • Is there a way to localize input type="date" in HTML5

  I know that at the time of this writing only Opera supports a browser UI for <input type="date" name="mydate"> and maybe my attempts to localize this field have been met with frustration because niceties like localization have not yet been included in their implementation, but I don't even see mention of it in the HTML5 spec. Is there a way that localization should be specified? Should I do lang="fr" on a parent element? Some notes on the implementation of the site in question: Localization (language) is explicitly picked by the user because they are managing data in multiple languages and it is not reasonable to expect that the user's browser chrome is in the language being viewed or that the browser is providing desired language request headers. I want to be sure that if the page is rendered in French that the date picker provided by browser chrome shows options that make sense for French language. The plan is to fall back to jQueryUI for browsers that do not support type="date", I will use the detection mechanism provided in Dive into HTML 5

• SQL to return the rownum of a specific row? (using Oracle db)

  In Oracle 10g, I have this SQL: select dog.id as dogId from CANINES dog order by dog.codename asc which returns: id -- 204 203 206 923 I want to extend this query to determine the oracle rownum of a dog.id in this resultset. I have tried select rownum from (select dog.id as dogId from CANINES dog order by dog.codename asc) where dog.id=206 But this does not work out very well (it returns 1 no matter which dog.id I match on).   I'm just diving into Datamapper (and Sinatra) and have a question about associations. Below are some models I have. This is what I want to implemented. I'm having an issue with Workoutitems and Workout. Workout will be managed separately, but Workoutitems has a single workout associated with each row. Workout - just a list of types of workouts (run, lift, situps, etc) Selected workout - this is the name of a set of workouts, along with notes by the user and trainer.   I am developing an application and need to read the users call history from iPhone.I have go though all the forums and google it and found that we can get the records from teh callHistory sqlite database by "private/var/root/Library/CallHistory/call_history.db". But this path is not working from iOS 5 and above. Seems like apple has changed all their database path and structure so that no one can accees it. I have also seen some of the application on iTunes who are capable of getting the users call history like:-https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/callog/id327883585?mt=8 I have also check a mac desktop utility called "WonderShare Dr.Fone" which will fetch all the data from your iPhone like call history messages, notes , etc.How this utility is fetching the call history records and other details? If their is any API or private APIs by which i can get the callHistory data path please let me know.

• What's wrong with consuming ConfiguredTaskAwaitable from PortableClassLibrary's class under Debugger from MSTest Runner or Console App?

  *Its only Debug-time error, but a very weird one. Problem: While running with Debugger attached and calling a method, exposed in separate Portable library, returning ConfiguredTaskAwaitable, we get InvalidProgramException. Repro: Having 2 projects: PortableClassLibrary (supporting .Net 4.5; Windows Store; Windows Phone 8) with 1 class: public class Weird { public static ConfiguredTaskAwaitable GetConfiguredTaskAwaitable() { return new ConfiguredTaskAwaitable(); } } ConsoleApplication with code: static void Main(string[] args) { Weird.GetConfiguredTaskAwaitable(); } Notes: replacing ConfiguredTaskAwaitable with ConfiguredTaskAwaitable<T> (a generic version) fixes this strange issue consuming this method form WP8 or Win8 app under Debugger works fine. Currently it causes problems cause I cant run my Unit Tests under Debugger. I'm forced to change my "ObjectUnderTest" implementation to return generic ConfiguredTaskAwaitable<T>, which is fine for the real project, but still is only a workaround. The Question is: does anybody knows the reason of this error? It definitely related to Portable Class Library magic.

• Can I detect unused extra parameters passed to javascript methods?

  In Javascript I can call any method with more than the necessary amount of parameters and the extra parameters are silently ignored. e.g. letters = ['a','b','c'] //correct letters.indexOf('a') //This also works without error or warning letters.indexOf('a', "blah", "ignore me", 38) Are there ways to detect cases where this occurs? My motivation is that in my experience cases where this occurs are usually bugs. Identification of these by code analysis or at runtime would help track these errors down. These cases are especially prevalent where people are expecting alterations to base types which may not have occurred. Logging a warning where this happens e.g. Date.parse('02--12--2012', 'dd--MM--YYYY') Notes: To be clear I would like a solution that doesn't involve me sprinkling checks all over my code and other peoples' code.

• Which relational databases exist with a public API for a high level language?

  We typically interface with a RDBMS through SQL. I.e. we create a sql string and send it to the server through JDBC or ODBC or something similar. Are there any RDBMS that allow direct interfacing with the database engine through some API in Java, C#, C or similar? I would expect an API that allows constructs like this (in some arbitrary pseudo code): Iterator iter = engine.getIndex("myIndex").getReferencesForValue("23"); for (Reference ref: iter){ Row row = engine.getTable("mytable").getRow(ref); } I guess something like this is hidden somewhere in (and available from) open source databases, but I am looking for something that is officially supported as a public API, so one finds at least a note in the release notes, when it changes. In order to make this a question that actually has a 'best' answer: I prefer languages in the order given above and I will prefer mature APIs over prototypes and research work, although these are welcome as well.

• How do I download an attachment from an annotation using client-side JScript?

  I'm trying to provide a link to the attachment of a note through the client-side JScript. The standard MS-made Notes component does this through the following url: [serverurl]/[appname]/Activities/Attachment/download.aspx?AttachmentType=5&AttachmentId={blahblahblah}&IsNotesTabAttachment=1&CRMWRPCToken=blahblahblah&CRMWRPCTokenTimeStamp=blahblahblah The problem is that I don't know how to get the Token or TokenTimeStamp, so I'm receiving an Access Denied error ("form is no longer available, security precaution, etc"). The only other way I can think of doing this is through the OData endpoint, but that would at best get me a base64 string that I still would have translate into a filestream to give to the browser (all of which seems like it would take forever to implement/figure out). Example: Select *,dayofmonth(FROM_UNIXTIME(i_created)) from notes where dayofmonth(FROM_UNIXTIME(i_created)) > dayofmonth(FROM_UNIXTIME(i_created)) -2 order by dayofmonth(FROM_UNIXTIME(i_created)) this query returns all the records date wise but we need very most two days record.
