  • Editing a row in a gridview

    I have a two text boxes named region id and region name..and a button control I enter some values into those text boxes and click the button to insert those values into the "gridview"and a "data table" associated with the gridview. The gridview has the "enable editing" set to true..but when i click the "edit" button of a particular row in a gridview i get no response...i.e i do not get editable textboxes as it happens normally... What is the solution for this?

    Hi, suppose I have a table called 'test', into which there are three columns named test_id, test_name and test_age. I have used a retrieval argument called :al_test_id to promot the user to insert an id and search the database for the corresponding id entries, and if found, display it to the user. Now if no entry is found, then I want the user to be able to insert a new row using the id that he/she entered as the retrieval argument. How can I do that?

  • Static Map API that supports HTTPS requests and is free

    Any options out there? Google Static Maps with SSL (HTTPS) is only available to Premier members. Bing's Open Map API seems to have the same restricts. Any other ideas? I'm debating whether to schedule a cronjob to wget over http and dump the images I need into a folder (named after the content object IDs that reference them), but I'd rather find a free map API (or something less klugey) that supports HTTPS requests.

  • Need to Release UIWebView Delegate?

    I have a UIWebView named wView. I want to use webViewDidFinishLoad: in my class, so I am setting the class as the delegate for wView by using this line: wView.delegate = self; Everything loads properly, but when I close the UIWebView, the App crashes. If I comment out the wView.delegate = self, it works and does not crash, but then I can't use webViewDidFinishLoad: - any ideas? Do I need to release something?

    We have a javascript funtion named "move" which does just "windows.location.href = any given anchor". This function works on IE, Opera and Safari, but somehow is ignored in Firefox. Researching on Google doesn't produce a satisfactory answer why it doesn't work. Does any javascript guru knows about this behavior, and what would be the best practice to jump to an anchor via javascript?

    I recently installed windows 7, visual studio 2008, and .net framework 3.5. With these installed, I was unable to find the .net framework configuration tool. It should be located in %windir%\Microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.507727\ with the file name mscorcfg.msc The only place I found something similar is in %windir%\Microsoft.net\framework\v1.0.3705 where there are files named mscormmc.cfg and mscormmc.dll Any idea where to get the configuration tool?

I have users user1, usr2, useeeer3, user4 and I will enter to search window "use" and I expect to return user1, useeer3, user4. Im sure you know what I mean now. Is there any construction in JPA (JQPL)? It would be nice to search using WHERE somehow in named queries. Something like "SELECT u FROM User u WHERE u.nickname contains :substring"

  • How to pass the 'argument-line' of one PowerShell function to another?

    I'm trying to write some PowerShell functions that do some stuff and then transparently call through to existing built-in function. I want to pass along all the arguments untouched. I don't want to have to know any details of the arguments. I tired using 'splat' to do this with @args but that didn't work as I expected. In the example below, I've written a toy function called myls which supposed to print hello! and then call the same built-in function, Get-ChildItem, that the built-in alias ls calls with the rest of the argument line intact. What I have so far works pretty well: function myls { Write-Output "hello!" Invoke-Expression("Get-ChildItem "+$MyInvocation.UnboundArguments -join " ") } A correct version of myls should be able to handle being called with no arguments, with one argument, with named arguments, from a line containing multiple semi-colon delimited commands, and with variables in the arguments including string variables containing spaces.     I'm having difficultly adding querystring parameters to link_to UrlHelper. I have an Index view, for example, that has UI elements for sorting, filtering, and pagination (via will_paginate). The will_paginate plugin manages the intra-page persistence of querystring parameters correctly. Is there an automatic mechanism to add the querystring parameters to a give named route, or do I need to do so manually? A great deal of research on this seemingly simple construct has left me clueless.

  • Does Chrome always adds an XLS extension on a vnd.ms-excel mime type?

    It seems that a simple download of a PHP generated CSV file (with a vnd.ms-excel mime type for the sake of opening it with (Open)Office readly upon the "Save as..." dialog, when present) always gets the unwanted .xls extension when the UA is Google Chrome. The file would then be named as myfile.csv.xls. Firefox behaves correctly. I wonder if it is a bug, a feature or a misunderstanding of some references. Thank you.
