  I've installed JCL into Delphi 2010. In the following code try raise Exception.Create('Error Message'); except on E: Exception do begin ResultStatus := JclLastExceptStackListToStrings(sl, True, True, True, True); end; end; Also I have this call in the initialization section: initialization JclStartExceptionTracking; ResultStatus is false and sl is empty. I have set options to generate map and .jdbg files. Other functions, like ProcByLevel work fine. Is there something else I need to do to make JclLastExceptStackListToStrings work? • Database design to hold multiple iteration measurements

  Hi All. I am new to sqlite and SQL in general. I am keen to switch from flat-files to sqlite for holding some measurement information. I need a tip on how to better layout the database, since I have zero experience with this. I have a ~10000 unique statistic counters that are collected before and after each test iteration. Max number of iterations are 10, though it could be less. I was thinking the following: CREATE TABLE stat_names(stat_id, stat_name); CREATE TABLE stats_per_iteration(stat_id, before_iter_1, after_iter_1, before_iter_2, after_iter_2, ...); stat_names table would hold mapping of a full counter to a uniq stat_id. stats_per_iteration table would hold mesurement data 1 + 10 * 2 columns. stat_names.stat_id = stats_per_iteration.stat_id OR maybe I should have a separate table for each iteration? Which would results in 1 + 10 tables in database. Thanks!

• Is there a way to only have StyleCop documenation requirements SA1600 on public methods/properties?

  I've been using XMLDoc for a few years now, and have definitely grown into the mindset for supplying quality documentation for public methods and properties. However under StyleCop (and particularly its Resharper highlighting) I've noticed that the documentation requirements apply to identically to public, internal, protected and private methods. This seems a little counter-intuative to me, so I would ideally like to suppress it down to suggestions at least for private methods. Unfortunately it does seem as if the suppress setting is only across all public, internal, private, etc. Am I missing something or is this by design?

  I have just started learning programming and I would like to make a script into a chrome extension. Its a basic script and I hope to practice more and more and develop bigger projects and set myself bigger tasks This script has to do the following : reload a page every 20 seconds (say google.com) after 6 months the script must not run (maybe prompt a window saying "its over 6 months") The code should be able to go into a small chrome extension and also the 6 month time period should be absolute not relative to the time the script was started; for example should the browser crash and i have to turn on the extension again it should not restart the 6 month counter. Also if anyone could recommend any good sources for JavaScript to learn (preferably books; nothingIi read online ever seems to stick)

  We have a script used for each .item: $(".item").each(function(){ item_link = "http://..."; block = $('.block', this); $.get(item_link, function(data) { var src = $('img.slide', data).attr('src'); block.html(src); }); }); item_link variable is uniquie for each query. There can be 100 .item or more. The problem is - server has limit on connections at the same time, that why some .item get var src, some not. The best solution is to use just one .get at the same time. I think there should be some counter, if .get is finished - it gives message "I'm finished, you can start" to the next .get and so on. How to do that? Thanks.

• Can't get a List(Of <my class>) from a Dictionary in .NET?

  I have a Dictionary with key of type UInteger and the value is List(Of Session) where the (Public) class Session contains a couple of variables and a constructor (Public Sub New(...)). Some of the variables in my Session class is: Private count As Integer Private StartDate As Date Private Values As List(Of Integer) and a couple of methods like: Friend Sub Counter(ByVal c as Integer) count += c End Sub There is no problem to add values to the Dictionary: Dim Sessions As New List(Of Session) Dim dict As New Dictionary(Of Integer, Sessions) then some code to fill up a couple of Session objects in Sessions (not shown here) and then: dict.Add(17, Sessions) 'No problem Sessions.Clear() Sessions = dict(17) 'This doesn't return anything! The Sessions object is empty even if the code doesn't returned any error. Is my class Session to compex to be stored in a Dictionary?

  Hello, I'm making a hit counter. I have a database and I store the IP and $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; of the visitors. Now I need to add a filter, so I can put away the hits, that are made by bots. I found out, that many bots usually keep some common words in the $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; , so I's like to make and array of words, that would keep the bot from displaying in the results. Here is what I have now: while($row = mysql_fetch_array($yesterday, MYSQL_ASSOC)) { <-- Here I need a code, that would run through an array and check, if it containts the keywords and if it doesn't ... just count++; -- } Also if you know any other way of detecting and removing the bots from the results, I'd be verry thankful.   I'm coding in java and I need to create a function that returns the number of Data objects that are currently in an ArrayList. At the moment I have this: int count = 0; for (int i = 0; i < data.length; i++) { if (data[i] != null) { count ++; } } return count; But the problem is that an array list that includes null data is acceptable, and I have to count their null data towards this counter. How do I include the null data that's in the middle of this array, and not the null data that's not supposed to be counted for? For example, I have some tester code that adds (8),null,null,(23),(25) to the array, and this function should return 5 when the initial array size is 10. Thank you so much

• Can Perforce remove a version entry (like ClearCase Destroy)?

  I submitted a Changelist in Perforce, but I forgot to remove a couple of files from the list first. I want to undo those changes. I understand that Perforce allows me to "rollback" -- but that just submits another change to the file, cluttering my branch. This is a file I did not intend to change at all. When I go to integrate back into the baseline, this file shows up as needing to be integrated (even though it's the same as what's on the baseline). In Clearcase, I had the ability to simply issue a "destroy" command on the specific version of the file, nuking it from the repository, as if had never been (yes, I realize this is scary from a revision control perspective - I understand the risks). Is there an equivalent command in Perforce? Or am I trying to do something expressly forbidden?

The matrix looks like: ATOM 1223 ZX SOD A 11 2.11 -1.33 12.33 ATOM 1224 ZY SOD A 11 -2.99 -2.92 20.22 ATOM 1225 XH HEL A 12 -3.67 9.55 21.54 ATOM 1226 SS ARG A 13 -6.55 -3.09 42.11 ... here the last three columns are representing values for axes x,y,z respectively. now I what I wanted to do is, take the values of x,y,z for 1st line and subtract with 2nd,3rd,4th line in a iterative way and print the values for each axes. I was using: for line in map(str.split,inp): x = line[-3] y = line[-2] z = line[-1] for separating the values, but how to do in iterative way. should I do it by using Counter.

  If you have multiple, unrelated projects, is it a good idea to put them in the same repository? myRepo/projectA/trunk myRepo/projectA/tags myRepo/projectA/branches myRepo/projectB/trunk myRepo/projectB/tags myRepo/projectB/branches or would you create new repositories for each? myRepoA/trunk myRepoA/tags myRepoA/branches myRepoB/trunk myRepoB/tags myRepoB/branches What are the pros and cons of each? All that I can currently think of is that you get mixed revision numbers (so what?), and that you can't use svn:externals unless the repository is actually external. (i think?) The reason I ask is because I'm considering consolidating my multiple repos into one, since my SVN host has started charging per repo.

  I have a dozen of build plans managed by a unique build agent. What I want to do, is to get the total number of triggered/scheduled builds (without counting them manually from the interface). So, question is, is there a kind of counter on the server? UPDATE #1: I'm using the v2.2.1. UPDATE #2: On the server interface (Administration - System - System Information), there are some statistics including how many builds the server performed. But, this number is reinitialized when the server goes down.

• Saving variables (not sessions)

  This may be a silly question, but how do I save variables that are not specific to a particular session. An simple example of why you might want to do this would be a visitor counter - a number that increases by one each time someone visits a web page (note - I'm not actually doing that, my application is different, but that is the functionality I need). The only ways I can think of doing this are either writing the variables to a file, or putting the variables into a database. Both seem a bit inelegant. Is there a better way to to this kind of thing?
