  • LESS CSS on Windows

    Trying to set up LESS for css (see http://lesscss.org/index.html) on my Windows box, and I've installed ruby and rubygems and I've followed the instructions here (http://lesscss.org/docs) exactly. I have a file 'teststyle.less' in C:\ and in command when I type lessc teststyle.less to compile into a .css file, I get the error "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." Out of those familiar with LESS, do any of you have a solution to my problem? Did I mess up the install? Thanks -Mojave Storm

    In order to achieve this effect, I would like to know how I can make the WebBrowser to scroll up when new content is added to the HTML page? "Allow more entries to be displayed in the view: When the user clicks more, additional entries should be displayed in addition to the ones which are already displayed. The code should cause the UI to scroll such that the first entry of the "more" set is on top". I am using com.ibm.rcp.browser.service.WebBrowser which is similar to SWT WebBrowser.

    I've been looking at implementing the new VerificationController to verify in-App-Purchases: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#releasenotes/StoreKit/IAP_ReceiptValidation/_index.html And I wonder if there is some example anywhere en how to validate a transaction, since it seems that the - (BOOL)verifyPurchase:(SKPaymentTransaction *)transaction; is not enough and it has to be implemented internally to verify the purchase when the data form the server is received. Another question is if anyone has a clue on what the KNOWN_TRANSACTIONS_KEY is and how to fill it, is it just the product id of the purchase?

    In reviewing: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/graphics/Canvas.html I'm wondering translate(): "preconcat the current matrix with the specified translation" -- what does this mean? I can't find a good definition of "preconcat" anywhere on the internet! The only place I can find it is in the Android Source - I'm starting to wonder if they made it up? :) I'm familiar with "concat" or concatenate, which is to append to, so what is a pre-concat?

    Hi, i have a problem only with IE: if i try to invoke a JS function from Flash using ExternalInterface i cannot get result if Flash is embedded inside a JQuery dialog; when i make the same thing from a normal html page it runs.     In my application, I am using Ext.Ajax.request to load scripts which I execute with eval. The problem is that since it takes time for the AJAX request to complete, code that is executed afterward which needs variables which are in the script loaded in via AJAX. In this example, I show how this is the case.
