  Recently a guy from our 3rd line team thought it would be funny to delete my account from AD. This has now been re-added. Everything is back to normal apart from my Access to Sharepoint sites. I am getting "The file exists. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070050)" Error on all sites. After some googleing I came across a guy with the same issue and it was an issue with the SID being different from my old account. Since this I deleted my account from Site Administrators and re-added. This would refresh the SID with the new one. I also check on the Content database that the site ID matched using the following transactions and the SIDs match. select s.Id, w.FullUrl from Sites s inner join Webs w on s.RootWebId = w.Id select * from UserInfo where tp_Login='domain\username' and tp_SiteID='' I am now a bit clueless.

  Hello to all, I'm working on a site where all the pages are actually index.php + a 'name' parameter that is analyzed and loads the appropriate template and content. the homepage url is: http://www.some_site.com/?page=homepage 1. i was asked to "change" the homepage url to: http://www.some_site.com can i use url rewite and htaccess for that and if so, what should i write there? working on my local machine, i tried this code (mode rewrite is enabled): <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule /index.php /index.php?page=homepage </IfModule> i would still need the 'name' parameter to be available to the php code of course, so i can load the template and css files. 2. it would be nice for other pages (not homepage) to be converted from (example) http://www.some_site.com/?page=products to: http://www.some_site.com/products this is less crucial. thanx in advance and have a nice day :-)

• Copy contents of one document to another

  Hi All, I am trying to copy the contents of one document and append it to another document through command prompt. It works fine for simple .txt file through the command (copy fileA.txt + fileb.txt). But when I try to copy the contents of a MSWord file to another MSWord file, it does not happen. Though the target file size keeps increasing but without any content. When opened the doc file in notepad, it shows soe unreadable data keeps getting added. Please help.

Here is xaml from my View and code from my ViewModel <Button Grid.Column="0" Content="Clear" IsEnabled="False" cmd:ButtonBaseExtensions.Command="{Binding ClearCommand}" /> public RelayCommand ClearCommand { get { return new RelayCommand(() => MessageBox.Show("Clear Command")); } } Notice I hardcoded the IsEnabled="False" in my xaml. This value is completely ignored (button always enabled). I realize that RelayCommand have a CanExecute overload but I did want to use this as I want to do more than just have a disabled button.

  What am I doing wrong here? I am attempting to return a json object and I can't seem to get past the array...   I'm looking for a jquery plugin so I can paginate my html tables (the content of which is generated by a jsp c:forEach). But so far I haven't found anything that worked. The plugin doesn't need to be fancy, in fact something like the first example on http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4151695/html/pajinate-0.2/examples/example1.html would do fine. I'm still very new to jquery so I don't have the knowledge yet to write one myself. So does anyone have any pointers where I could find one?

• How to dynamically add a Javascript function (and invoke)

  Based on a click event on the page, via ajax I fetch a block of html and script, I am able to take the script element and append it to the head element, however WebKit based browsers are not treating it as script (ie. I cannot invoke a function declared in the appended script). Using the Chrome Developer Tools I can see that my script node is indeed there, but it shows up differently then a script block that is not added dynamically, a non-dynamic script has a text child element and I cannot figure out a way to duplicate this for the dynamic script. Any ideas or better ways to be doing this? The driving force is there is potentially a lot of html and script that would never be needed unless a user clicks on a particular tab, in which case the relevant content (and script) would be loaded. I would like to add a java applet to the web page but I could not find the Java Object to correspond to the <applet> tag. So My questions are - What is the JAVA Object for an applet? • How to use $.get data to replace certain elements in a webpage?

  I'm using jQuery 1.4.2 to navigate smoothly between similar webpages (in ff3). When clicking on a link, a javascript script should load the new html, filter out the right elements and replace them on the current page. It looks like the $(htmlcode) does not do the thing I expected. The actions below work when loading the page directly, but when using the $.get I have the following problems: the find function seems only to look inside a div element called id="page", which is inside the body element one of the elements has <script>...</script>, but the <script>...</script> is not present in the DOM of $(htmlcode). Anybody knows how to solve this? $.get( url, function(responseText, textStatus, xmlHttpRequest) { alert($(responseText).find("#header")); // works, #header is inside div#page alert($(responseText).find("#header").html()); // displays content, but WITHOUT the <script>...</script> alert($(responseText).find("title")); // does not work, title is outside div#page } );

• Htaccess/robots.txt to allow search bots to explore main domain but not directory on other domain

  Ok, I understand the Title didn't make any sense so here I've tried to explain it in detail. I'm using a hosting that gives me space for my domain and lets me "add on" other domains on it. So lets say I have a domain A, and I add on a domain B. Basically my hosting gives me a public_html where I can put stuff that shows when someone visits website A. But, when I add the domain B, it lets me put the content of B, INSIDE of that public_html so that website B.com can also be visited by going to A.com/siteB... Thats all good, except that Google has started indexing B.com as well as A.com/siteB, I'm ok with it indexing B.com, but I somehow want to prevent it from indexing A.com/siteB so that when people search for B, it doesn't end up showing A.com/siteB. Any ideas? Let me know if the question is still unclear.

I have the following to functions: void function_1(String ^str_1) { str_1 = gcnew String("Test"); } void function_2() { String ^str_2 = nullptr; function_1(str_2); } After calling function_1, str_2 is still equal to null, but what I want to achieve is that str_2 is equal to Test.   I have a which has a css binding according to the value of 'rowState' as follows which is working fine. Now, I need to bind the 'click' event to fire only if the rowState is not 2. I tried the following, but with no success. I do not want to use the if statement as the div has got lots of content which I would need to repeat. The only difference is to make the div not clickable if rowState is 2. Could you please help me to sort this out?

I am doing my coding in Windows XP/IIS 5.1. I have PHP setup correctly because i have no problem running .php file. The problem seem to me that IIS can't render php code embedded inside html. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or should i switch to Apache?

• Diff applications going crazy if the functions in the file were reordered

  I've been busy refactoring a file in our project and as part of my changes I reordered the function to a more logical way. However, now when I'm trying to review my changes I get a mess: The diff applications has no idea that the functions were merely reordered and marks 80% of the file content as changed. I've tried to see the diff with both "Beyond Compare" and "WinMerge" to the same result. Is there some setting that might help me here? As tagged, I am using C# on Windows.

On a web page, you may have: <b>Renewal Date:</b> 03 May 2010</td> I just want to be able to pull out the 03 May 2010, remembering that a webpage has more than just the above content. The way I currently perform this using JavaScript is: DateStr = /<b>Renewal Date:<\/b>(.+?)<\/td>/.exec(returnedHTMLPage); I tried to follow some tutorials on java.util.regex.Pattern and java.util.regex.Matcher with no luck. • When the current toolbar is touched previous toolbar items are activated.

  I have a UIToolBar *toolbar1. I have 3 buttons on the toolbar. And the tool bar is at the bottom of the view. The buttons are like library button, moreApps button, recordVideo button. If I touch the library button a new view(a UITableViewController) appears. I used presentModelViewController for it. If I touch moreApps button a new view (a UIViewController) appears and it loaded from http//. The recordButton touch gives another UIViewController view. When the moreApps button is touched and the view is loaded, it have the content from web and a UIToolBar *toolbar2 at the bottom the view. It has a refresh button and done button. The problem is when I touch the toolbar2 (not on the refresh button and done button) the previous views button are activated and corresponding views of previous buttons(library button, playVideo button) are loaded. I am not able to understand about this problem. Thank you.

  I have need to call a webservice from an HTML helper extension I created (combinbation of Action and Image) and placed in the view as follows @Html.ActionImage("CallService", new { number = ViewBag.number, code = ViewBag.code, account = ViewBag.account, amount = ViewBag.amount }, "~/Content/sb_200x61.png", "Start the Process") I am making the action call and it calls the service and returns a string of the html response, but it doesn't look right. I am using the typical HttpWebRequest to do the POST Action in C# code. Here is the controller action code: public MvcHtmlString CallService(string number, string code, string account, decimal? amount) { string response = MyService.ServiceLayer.ClassName.callService(number, code, account, Convert.ToDecimal(amount); MvcHtmlString mstring = new MvcHtmlString(response); return mstring; } When it returns the string back it's looking like the all styling and js is removed. It that due to MvcHtmlString? Is there a better way to do this? Redirect somehow ?

• Drupal, installation to new web server... problems with Views exposed filter

  hi, I've moved my drupal installation to a new website (without clean urls support). I'm using a View to display the content of my website with exposed filter (tags multi-selection) When I click on one of the tags something strange happen on the new website.. Even if I select only 1 tag, I get urls like this: http://.../drupal/?tid[]=67&tid[]=66&view_name=Portfolio&view_display_id=page_1&view_args=&view_path=portfolio&view_base_path=portfolio&view_dom_id=1&pager_element=0 instead of the normal url: http://www.sanstitre.ch/drupal/portfolio?tid[0]=67 could you give me some tip ? thanks

• Vim: How to handle newlines when storing multiple commands in registers?

  I have a file where I store snippets of vim commands. When I need a snippet, I yank it and then execute it with @". The snippets are stored as a script, one line per command, like this: :s/foo/bar/g :echo "hello" :s/1/2/g Edit: I removed normal mode commands from the example, as they were not part of the problem. Now this procedure doesn't work anymore: when executing the snippet, it just stops at the first line as if waiting for a newline. Is there an option somewhere affecting how @ is executed? I'm pretty sure it was working some time ago... Substituting the newline with a ^M character works but makes the file more difficult to handle. Additional information: Here's another symptom: when I yank a snippet, if I execute it with @" it stops at the first line as I just explained. But if I execute it with :@ it works. But the help file doesn't seem to imply any difference in how the two commands treat the register's content...

  Hi, I am trying to create dynamic excel sheet, with the help of php using XML Spreadsheet. But when I try to open the dynamically created excel sheet I keep on getting error that says 'Unable to load worksheet, problem with worksheet settings'. When I try to look at the log file it had created it shows the below text, XML ERROR in Worksheet Setting REASON: Bad Value FILE: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\5XZ039FS\output[3].xls GROUP: Worksheet TAG: Table ATTRIB: ExpandedRowCount VALUE: 4 Can anybody tell what does the above error mean and how do I remove it?

• Displaying objects based on if a user is logged in or not

  I'm learning about PHP sessions for user authentication on my website. I know how to restrict the viewing of a complete page using sessions (simply check if the 'uid' session variable is set and if it is, show content, if not redirect to an error). However I'm trying to figure out the best way to selectively show and hide different objects (div, text, images) based on if a user is logged in or not. Is it as simple as checking for the 'uid' session variable and displaying based on if it set or not? Is there a more efficient way of doing this id there are a lot of conditional elements on a page?

• curl issue with URL not connecting

  So I'm not a very good network person so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to figuring out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to use curl to post a SOAP message. I am running the following: curl -d "string of xml message" -H "Content-Type:text/xml; charset=utf-8" ":/" This results in a 'Connection refused' message. So I try pinging ip by itself...no problems. Then I think maybe I need http://:/ so I tried pinging http:// and I get: unknown host http:// yet if I ping the IP by itself I get no issues. Any thoughts on where to start debugging this issue?
