How to retrieve a list of Colors that are the gradients between the two? • Why doesn't my binding update whenever EditingElementStyle AND ElementStyle are set to a custom styl

  In my Visual Studio 2010 WPF application, I have the following (simplified) style: <Style x:Key="MyStyle" TargetType="{x:Type CheckBox}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Blue" /> </Style> If I use it as the ElementStyle AND EditingElementStyle in my DataGridCheckBoxColumn: <DataGridCheckBoxColumn Binding="{Binding IsEnabled}" ElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" EditingElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" /> Then my binding, IsEnabled, does not toggle when I check/uncheck a row's checkbox. If I remove either ElementStyle, EditingElementStyle, or both, then the binding updates no problem. Why is this?! Note: sometimes clicking around will produce an update to the binding (detected via debugging) - this is not the same as clicking another row to "commit" the value, though! Thanks!

  Hi, i'm trying to put an activeX object on an asp-webpage. it already worked good a week ago, but now the object isn't showing up anymore. already made a little asp testing-project....just an asp-page and a activex control, containing a button and a label. but when i call up the page in the browser, there is only a white area with a little icon in the upper left corner, showing a red dot, a green triangle and a blue rectangle.... what does that mean? object not found? object blocked by IE? or what exactly does this icon stand for? i always thoght that an missing object is represented by an empty area with a little red cross in it. =/

• Styling the selection color of an input type=text, possible?

  Having an input <input type="text" id="myTest" value="bla bla bla"/> and doing this (using jQuery) $('#myTest').select(); causes "bla bla bla" to be selected with default dark blue selection color. Now, is there any way I can change this color using css? css3 can change selection using for instance ::-moz-selection { background: #ffb7b7; } but this only works on text in other elements, not in html inputs. Any ideas? /T

  I'm getting "could not find class" error when I run my app. Understand that copulation and execution path different but I followed the recommendations of another question to create a sub dir under my project of lib and put the jar there but still no luck. using Eclipse and it is when I run on a device from eclipse (unable to get the broadcast events I want to trigger this code from simulator, i.e. wifi and blue-tooth). Any way to look at the apk to see what's in it like this jar file? looking around did not see anything.

• html vertical space between blocks appears

  Please have a look at this page www.pixeli.ca/issue. I have begun making a page layout using CSS framework 960.gs. My problem is that there is some strange space appears between block with top image and blue block with "hello" string. So you can see a green stripe there that shouldn't be visible at all. I tried different variants and have no idea what's wrong with it. I noticed that it happens only with the block with images inside them, but if there is only text, no space happens. Thanks.

• jQuery drag and drop behavior with partially transparent image

  I'm trying to develop a drag-and-drop behavior based on the jQuery UI draggable behavior but am running into some road blocks. I want to be able to drag several images with transparent regions around a region of the screen. I want the user to be able to drag the image he clicks and not just whatever draggable div or PNG happens to be z-indexed on top. The below image is a screen grab from my test page. If I click the lower left region of the blue square through the red thing I should drag the square and not the red thing. The red thing is what gets dragged though because it is on top and the browser does not care about the transparency. My question is, how can I make it behave as expected in this situation and drag the square instead? Edit: Seems I can't attach images as a new user.   If I have a multiValued field type of text, and I put values [cat,dog,green,blue] in it. Is there a way to tell when I execute a query against that field for dog, that it was in the 1st element position for that multiValued field? Assumption: client does not have any pre-knowledge of what the field type of the field being queried is. (i.e. Solr must provide the answer and the client can't post process the return doc to figure it out because it would not know how SOLR matched the query to the result). Disclosure: I posted to solr-user list and am getting no traction so I post here now.

• UITableViewCell and strange behaviour in grouped UITableView

  I'm working on a grouped UITableView, with 4 sections with one row per section, and have a strange behaviour with the cells. The cells are plain UITableViewCells, but the height of the cells are around 60 - 80 pixel. Now the tableview renders the cells correct with round corners, but when I select the cells, they appear blue and recangle. I don't know why the cells behave like this, because I have another grouped UITableView with custom cells and 88 pixel height and those cells work like they should. If I change the height to the default height of 44 pixel, the cells behave like the should. Does anyone know about this behaviour and what the cause is? Like I mentioned, I don't do any fancy stuff I use default UITableViewCells in a static, grouped UITableView with 4 sections with 1 row in each section. evangelion2100

  I am trying to figure out how to change the color of the table view navigation bar in multiple table views. The table views are all connected to a navigation controller. For example, I want one navigation bar to be blue, but another to be red. I have tried the code below in the AppDelegate.m file, but it just changes all the navigation bars to the same color. Is there anywhere else I could place this code to change the color in specific places. I've heard that I need to create new files, but I don't know where to place the code, or what code to use in the new files. I am somewhat new to this. • PC reboots spontaenously: debugging tips [closed]

  I swapped my core 2 duo for a quad core recently, and generally things run fine, but every now and then my computer just restarts. I don't even get a blue screen (Vista 32). Core temp isn't a problem. My thinking is that my power supply is inadequate, but I haven't been able to test that (one idea was to under clock the cpu to see if that helped, but going up in speed was the only simple thing to do in the BIOS) Two cases where I semi-consistanly get problems: - Borderlands windowed after some period of time (and some other games, but Borderlands does it pretty regularly) - watching a video (e.g. quicktime/vlc) and having another video running Another thought is non-cpu heat? Maybe the graphics card? Any thoughts on how to track this down appreciated. Thanks!
