  Can somebody please provide some sample code to strip diacritical marks (i.e., replace characters having accents, umlauts, etc., with their unaccented, unumlauted, etc., character equivalents, e.g., every accented é would become a plain ASCII e) from a UnicodeString using the ICU library in C++? • Why does "request.getUserPrincipal().getName()" sometimes return a blank string?

  Has somebody an idea, why the getName method of the requests getUserPrincipal Method sometimes provides an empty String? Most of the time it returns the correct user name but not every time. This behaviour does occur randonmly. I can start the application, run the command and it works. The next time I start the application and run the command (exactly the same way as before!) it does not work... Any ideas?

• Android Nfc Sample Demo - reads only fake information from the Tag

  I just installed the Nfc Demo from google, but it doesn´t read the information from the Tag.- It just provides some fakeTag information. Has anybody an idea, where I can change the sample to read from the nfc Tag? Or has somebody a working nfc demo for the nexus?   Can somebody tell me, why does Linq to Entities translate many to 1 relationships to left outer joins instead of inner joins? It relation was many to 0..1. There's referential constraint on DB itself, that ensures there's a record in the right table, so inner join should be used instead. Is it possible to write LINQ in a way so they will translate to inner joins rather than left outer joins. It would speed query execution a lot.

  Windows 7 computer running SQL Server Express 2008 (sp1). When I try to run net start mssql$sqlexpress I receive an error: System error 5 has occurred.
