    I've got this line of code: $xml_output .= "\t<Event=" . $x . ">\n"; And it will output: <Event=0> <Event=1> <Event=2> etc etc through my loop. I need it to output as this (with the quotes around the number): <Event="0"> <Event="1"> <Event="2"> Any help, and I'm sure it's simple would be greatly appreciated!

    A custom windows form control named 'tweet' is in a dll. The custom control has couple of basic controls to display a tweet. I add this custom control to my main application. This custom control has a button named "retweet", when some user clicks this "retweet" button, i need to send some message to the main application. Unfortunately the this tweet control has no idea about this main application (both or in their own namespaces) How can i send messages from this custom control to the main application?

    I'm working on a search functionality for my website and I'm using Bootstrap's typeahead to show the results. So far so good. But what I want is to extend the function so that I could add an image and some other item, say description, etc. According to this post, that is possible: custom typeahead. Basically I need something like this as each result item: <div class="resultContainer"> <div class="resultImage"><img /></div> <div class="resultDesc"></div> <div class="resultLabel"></div> </div> Now it's: <li><a href="#"></a></li> And this doesn't even work with a longer text than the width of the typeahead. So the text doesn't go to the next line and hence doesn't fit the <li>. How can I use the the custom layout I want? (btw I have an array of arrays of results.     UPDATE statistics' SET money = money + '$money' WHERE member_id IN ((SELECT member_id FROM races WHERE l_id = '$mem_id'), $other_id) What's wrong with that? I want to retrieve all member_ids from races and also include to member_id $other_id. Without $other_id it works. By the way, it gives me "Subquery returns more than 1 row" error.

    Ok so i'm executing the following line of code in javascript RegExp('(http:\/\/t.co\/)[a-zA-Z0-9\-\.]{8}').exec(tcont); where tcont is equal to some string like 'Test tweet to http://t.co/GXmaUyNL' (the content of a tweet obtained by jquery). However it is returning, in the case above for example, 'http://t.co/GXmaUyNL,http://t.co/'. This is frustracting because I want the url without the bit on the end - after and including the comma. Any ideas why this is appearing? Thanks

  • MySQL: Limit output according to associated ID

    So here's my situation. I have a books table and authors table. An author can have many books... In my authors page view, the user (logged in) can click an author in a tabled row and be directed to a page displaying the author's books (collected like this URI format: viewauthorbooks.php?author_id=23), very straight forward... However, in my query, I need to display the books for the author only, and not all books stored in the books table (as i currently have!) As I am a complete novice, I used the most simple query of: SELECT * FROM tasks_tb This returns the books for me, but returns every single value (book) in the database, and not ones associated with the selected author. And when I click a different author the same books are displayed for them...I think everyone gets what I'm trying to achieve, I just don't know how to perform the query. I'm guessing that I need to start using more advanced query clauses like INNER JOIN etc. Anyone care to help me out :)

    I'm using Bootstrap and DataTables in my app and I have a default initializer for tables based on class. I can just add the class data-table to the table and it gets instantiated with the default values I want.   • jQuery: How to collect values from sliders into simple object with id as keys

    I have several jQuery UI Sliders and I want to collect their values. Thought it would be a simple task, but when I was going to do it I got stuck and not quite sure what to do anymore :p The object I would like to end up with should look something like this: { a: 80, b: 90, c: 20, ... } I can do it manually like this: var values = { a: $('#a').slider('value'), b: $('#b').slider('value'), c: $('#c').slider('value'), ... }; But that's a bit tedious, especially if I need to add or remove or rename. Was hoping I could do something with the map or each function or something like that, but I can't figure it out. Anyone have some clever ideas?

  • Customizing Bugzilla 4.0.2 Bug ID numbers

    Is it possible to customize Bugzilla bug numbers and add a letter designator, to immediately know it came from Bugzilla? My company is evaluating Bugzilla and has now added many new bugs. We also use 2 other bug databases. This wasn't my decision and I believe they were trying to incorporate better reporting, etc. I read an answer here about "seeding" Bugzilla bug numbers, by setting the "AUTO_INCREMENT" field in the "bugs" table to a different value. I wish I would've thought about this sooner and found this board. Setting that value to start at 9000 or some extraordinary value would have ensured that we knew exactly which bugs came from Bugzilla. However, would it be possible to change the field in the "bugs" table to accept letters, as well? Of course that would probably just mess up the whole auto incrementing of the numbers. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Recreating a workflow instance with the same instance id

    We have some objects that have an associated workflow instance. The objects are identified with a GUID, which is also the GUID of the workflow instance associated with the object. We need to restart (see NOTE 3 for the meaning of 'restart') the workflow instance if the workflow definition changed (there is no state in the workflow itself and it is written to support restarting in this manner). The restarting is performed by calling Terminate on the WorkflowInstance, then recreating the instance with the same GUID. The weird part is that this works every other attempt (odd attempts - the workflow is stopped, but for some reason doesn't restart, even attempt - the already terminated workflow is recreated and started successfully). While I admit that using 'second hand' GUIDs is a sign of extraordinary cheapness (and something we plan to change), I'm wondering why this isn't working. Any ideas? NOTES: The terminated workflow instance is passivated (waiting for a notification) at the time of the termination. The Terminate call successfully deletes the data persisted in the database for that instance. We're using 'restarting' with a meaning that's less common in the context of WF - not restarting a passivated instance, but force the workflow to start again from the beginning of its definition. The problem is, while try to congiure the project into server it will not shown in servers's available project list. later i try to add the project by right clicking the server but it says " there are no resources that can be added or removed from the server"... can anyone tell me the solution to run the project?

    When a user signup at my page I want them to be redirected to the root_path(this I have figured out how to do in the user controller). But then I want a modal to show in front of this page(and this should only happen the first time the user see this root/home page(like a flash message). Here is my create method in the user controller: def create @user = User.new(params[:user]) if @user.save sign_in @user redirect_to root_path else render 'new' end end The modal is placed in app/views/layouts/_modal.html.erb. Does anybody know how to make this happen? (Jepp, I am a newbie :)
