My goal is to be able to create shaded regions as illustrated below: I found this plugin, but it appears that it can only shade a range of values of a line, as demonstrated here.

  • I can't get my Android program to run correctly on an AVM in Eclipse

    This is a simple question about getting started with developing Android apps using Eclipse. I have followed all the tutorials on the developer site for installing Eclipse, the SDK and the ADT plugin. When trying to run a simple Hello World program, everything seems to compile correctly, but then the virtual machine comes up empty. In the Console Window it reads: The program then just sits and my text never comes up. Any idea with what the problem could be?

    I want to create a backend for my android app with Tapestry5 and this http://code.google.com/p/t5-restful-webservices/ plugin. The app will communicate with the server by calling REST methods both for registered users (that would be easy to secure I guess) as well as unregistered users. Now of course I don't want people to just call that webservice from a browser. How can I make sure that only my app can make calls to this backend?

    Hi i work at a news paper and we are lookin a way to make archieve material available. Atm our pages come in pdf format so we need a way to export text and images from the pdf so that they can be added to a database. We've had a look at the News studio plugin for Adobe Acrobat from Iceni Technology, but just wondering if anyone else knows other options for exporting pdf data. thanks

  • List in velocity macro, cannot find

    I put a list strings as validTypes in velocity. When I do : #if (${validTypes}.contains("aaa")) // do something #end it throws an error. But when I do : #foreach (${validType} in ${validTypes}) ${validType} #end it works fine. Do I need to use velocity tools for this? How do I use it in an eclipse plugin? Are there any work around without using velocity tools?

    Hi guys, Ive got a problem with loading an applet from WEB-INF/classes directory. The main class of an applet (MainApplet.class) is there in the package aaa, but when loading I got the exception java.lang.ClassNotFoundException. Where am I wrong?     Hi, Is it possible to somehow listen to all perforce cammands issued from my machine to the perforce server? I did some googling yesterday and found a page somewhere about a perforce proxy or broker that would intercept perforce commands and allow you to do what you wanted with them before sending them to the server...and now can't find the page! I am trying to debug our build process (built using Maven) that is failing while running the maven-release-plugin (prepare). Cheers.

The full story: I would like to help my clients do acceptance testing by providing them with a suite of tests that use some smarts to create random (or at least pseudo-random) values for the database. One of the issues with my Selenium IDE tests at the moment is that they have predefined values - which makes some types of testing problematic.

    I have add a custom plugin that insert custom tags into my tinyMCE editor of the format: title I want the custom tags to be rendered with some styles when viewed in the WYSIWYG view. I have seen one response to a similar question : http://topsecretproject.finitestatemachine.com/2010/02/how-to-custom-tags-with-tinymce/ but this doesn't work - they tags are not stripped out but they are not styled either??

  • how to disable vim autocomplete popup for plain text files?

    After literally days of tweaking, I think I got vim's autocomplete (omnicomplete + Acp plugin) to work acceptably. But the annoying thing is that it is still enabled for plain text files so I would have to type :DisableAcp for README or plain text files. How do I add logic to my vimrc so that if it detects an empty filetype it disables the Acp on startup? here is what I wrote: if &filetype == "" let g:acp_enableStartup = 0 endif but this disables Acp on start up for all files.
