• Problem with LSParseDateTime function on server

  When I run this test code on my development machine it works as expected. CF9.01 I am in europe using euro date format so 10/09/1957 is 10th Sept 1957. <cfset testDate="10/09/1957"> <cfoutput> Initial string = "#testDate#"<br> LSparsedatetime output = #lsparsedatetime(session.form.patientDOB)#<br> parsedatetime output = #parsedatetime(session.form.patientDOB)# </cfoutput> Output on test machine is Initial string = "10/09/1957" LSparsedatetime output = {ts '1957-09-10 00:00:00'} parsedatetime output = {ts '1957-10-09 00:00:00'} Same code , output on live server is Initial string = "10/09/1957" LSparsedatetime output = {ts '1957-10-09 00:00:00'} parsedatetime output = {ts '1957-10-09 00:00:00'} Server OS is Windows Web Server 2008 R2. I checked Control panel date and time setting and it is correctly set to London. Web server is IIS7 but I don't think that would affect anything? IN region and Language, location is set to United Kingdom and in Administrative (change system locale ) it is also correct as English (United Kingdom)

  Hi, I am puzzled at why my Python unittest runs perfectly fine without actually updating the database.   Ok, so I can't seem to find decent Windows Azure examples. I have a simple hello world application that's based on this tutorial. I want to have custom output instead of JSON or XML. • .NET Regex - Replace multiple characters at once without overwriting?

  I'm implementing a c# program that should automatize a Mono-alphabetic substitution cipher. The functionality i'm working on at the moment is the simplest one: The user will provide a plain text and a cipher alphabet, for example: Plain text(input): THIS IS A TEST Cipher alphabet: A - Y, H - Z, I - K, S - L, E - J, T - Q Cipher Text(output): QZKL KL QJLQ I thought of using regular expressions since I've been programming in perl for a while, but I'm encountering some problems on c#. First I would like to know if someone would have a suggestion for a regular expression that would replace all occurrence of each letter by its corresponding cipher letter (provided by user) at once and without overwriting anything. Example: In this case, user provides plaintext "TEST", and on his cipher alphabet, he wishes to have all his T's replaced with E's, E's replaced with Y and S replaced with J. My first thought was to substitute each occurrence of a letter with an individual character and then replace that character by the cipherletter corresponding to the plaintext letter provided. Using the same example word "TEST", the steps taken by the program to provide an answer would be: 1 - replace T's with (lets say) @ 2 - replace E's with # 3 - replace S's with & 4 - Replace @ with E, # with Y, & with j 5 - Output = EYJE This solution doesn't seem to work for large texts. I would like to know if anyone can think of a single regular expression that would allow me to replace each letter in a given text by its corresponding letter in a 26-letter cipher alphabet without the need of splitting the task in an intermediate step as I mentioned.   Hi guys, I have this piece of code in javascript: var catId = $.getURLParam("category"); In my asp.net and c# code for "category" query string i use a public const: public const string CATEGORY = "category"; so if i want to change the query string parameter to be "categoryTest" i only change this const and all the code is updated. Now the question is: how can i do something similar for the javascript i have in the same application (so i want to use the same constant)? I mean i want something like this: var catId = $.getURLParam(CQueryStringParameters.CATEGORY); but because there are none asp.net tags, my const is not interpreted... Any workaround?

However a client needs to put the credentials into the url like so: https://username:[email protected]/my_secure_document When I looked at what was actually sent, it looks like the password is being hashed. What is the proper way to authenticate in this fashion using Restlet?

• (nested) user controls within a mvp pattern causing sporadic problems

  hi everyone, I have a serious problem with nested user controls (UCs) in WinForms while trying to implement the mvp pattern (passive view). The project consists of one model (designed as a singleton) and a set of different presenters with corresponding view interfaces. To avoid one huge view interface and therefore an overloaded main UI, I decided to make use of a set of different UCs. Each UC has one view interface and one presenter that can access the model. But there are nested UCs: meaning that one specialised UC implements sort of a basic UC. The main UI just represents a container for all those UCs. So far, so good (if not, please ask)?! There are two problems that I am facing now (but I guess both are of the same origin): From time to time it is not possible anymore to load the UCs and test them within the Visual Studio 2008 User Control Test Container. The error message just says that a project with an output type of class library cannot be started directly etc. I can "handle" that by unloading all UC projects and reloading them afterwards. (I guess the references to all mvp components and other UCs are then updated). Assuming that the implementation of my mvp pattern is okay and all those UCs are testable within the VS Test Container at a certain time - there is the biggest problem still left: I am not able to add any UC (even the basic and unnested ones) to a simple Form (UI). The error message: error message.jpg Could it be that my basic UC causes all these Problems?! It consists of two simple ComboBoxes and implements a basic presenter and basic view interface. Whenever I add this UC to a different UC the VS designer adds two references to the public getter methods of the UC as resources. I then manually remove those resources from the resx-file and commend the corresponding lines in the designer file. thx in advance

  I have two final classes that are used in my unit test. I am trying to use whenNew on the constructor of a final class, but I see that it calls the actual constructor. • Copying contents of a MySQL table to a table in another (local) database

  I have two MySQL databases for my site - one is for a production environment and the other, much smaller, is for a testing/development environment. Both have identical schemas (except when I am testing something I intend to change, of course). A small number of the tables are for internationalisation purposes: TransLanguage - non-English languages TransModule - modules (bundles of phrases for translation, that can be loaded individually by PHP scripts) TransPhrase - individual phrases, in English, for potential translation TranslatedPhrase - translations of phrases that are submitted by volunteers ChosenTranslatedPhrase - screened translations of phrases. The volunteers who do translation are all working on the production site, as they are regular users. I wanted to create a stored procedure that could be used to synchronise the contents of four of these tables - TransLanguage, TransModule, TransPhrase and ChosenTranslatedPhrase - from the production database to the testing database, so as to keep the test environment up-to-date and prevent "unknown phrase" errors from being in the way while testing. My first effort was to create the following procedure in the test database: CREATE PROCEDURE `SynchroniseTranslations` () LANGUAGE SQL NOT DETERMINISTIC MODIFIES SQL DATA SQL SECURITY DEFINER BEGIN DELETE FROM `TransLanguage`; DELETE FROM `TransModule`; INSERT INTO `TransLanguage` SELECT * FROM `PRODUCTION_DB`.`TransLanguage`; INSERT INTO `TransModule` SELECT * FROM `PRODUCTION_DB`.`TransModule`; INSERT INTO `TransPhrase` SELECT * FROM `PRODUCTION_DB`.`TransPhrase`; INSERT INTO `ChosenTranslatedPhrase` SELECT * FROM `PRODUCTION_DB`.`ChosenTranslatedPhrase`; END When I try to run this, I get an error message: "SELECT command denied to user 'username'@'localhost' for table 'TransLanguage'". If I do it that, way, I get an identical message except it tells me I'm denied the DELETE command rather than SELECT. I have made sure that my user has INSERT, DELETE, SELECT, UPDATE and CREATE ROUTINE privileges on both databases. However, it seems as though MySQL is reluctant to let this user exercise its privileges on both databases at the same time. How come, and is there a way around this?

• Typed DefaultListModel to avoid casting

  Is there a way in java to have a ListModel that only accepts a certain type? What I'm looking for is something like DefaultListModel<String> oder TypedListModel<String>, because the DefaultListModel only implements addElement(Object obj) and get(int index) which returns Object of course. That way I always have to cast from Object to e.g. String and there is no guarantee that there are only strings in my model, even though I'd like to enforce that. Is this a flaw or am I using list models the wrong way?
