    I'm setting up a directory application for which I need to have two separate interfaces for the same Users table. Basically, administrators use the Users controller and views to list, edit, and add users, while non-admins need a separate interface which lists users in a completely different manner. To do this, would I be able to just set up another controller with different views but which accesses the Users model? Sorry if this is a simple question, but I've had a hard time finding how to do this.

I remember reading about one a few years back, but can not longer find a reference to it.     I have to dynamically add a list of views (the views use RelativeLayout). Can I do this by specifying the view definition in xml and instantiate multiple objects off it? This gives the usual benefits of separating the view part from the code (for e.g., making it easy for the UI guys to alter things) or Is going the ArrayAdapter the suggested/only route?

    I am having one GtkVbox and I am adding it to GtkViewPort. View port is created from Glade file. Now the problem is that my vbox keeps updating on every second (I keep adding widgets to vbox on every second) this vbox but my screen did not get updated as add widgets to my vbox. I can't create new vbox every time as I need to keep previously added widgets in vbox. How can I tell GtkViewPort to refresh list when I add new widgets to my GtkVBox?

    Often, I am building an array by iterating through some data, e.g.: my_array = [] for n in range(1000): # do operation, get value my_array.append(value) # cast to array my_array = array(my_array) I find that I have to first build a list and then cast it (using "array") to an array. Is there a way around these? all these casting calls clutter the code... how can I iteratively build up "my_array", with it being an array from the start? thanks.
