  • Use selenium to click on a swf

    I'm trying to use Selenium IDE to click on a swf in a html page. The DIV id and Embed id change depend on the timestamp e.g. id="FLASH_0_23458974594", I've tried using id=/^FLASH_([0-9]+_)0-9/ or id="FLASH_glob:*" but the IDE is not picking up the swf. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks.

I want to know if there is a way to show the context menu for each element on a key press(preferably the menu key). To rephrase my question, how can I trigger the context menu and not the options menu by pressing the menu key(or any other key).

    I have two buttons that both have onTouchListeners and perform an action when pressed down. Why do they not work if you try to click both at the same time? I'm building for Android 1.6. I don't have a real device to test on, and you can't test clicking two things at the same time in the emulator. Thanks for any help.

    I'm struggling to find a tag selection UI for a rails app. Ideally it would be something like the selection here on Stackoverflow, or on Delicious or Digg. I want users to be able to select multiple tags with a single click. We're already using jQuery, so it makes sense to use something that takes advantage of that. I've used the selection ui in jQuery and I'm not thrilled about having users need to hold down ctrl to select multiple tags.

    I am writed an automated test in Selenium IDE to test one of our applications. Our app throws one of those confirmation dialogs "Are you sure you want to continue." Click OK or Cancel Selenium does not support the clicking of these dialog boxes. I have tried the following SeleniumIDE functions with no success: chooseOkOnNextConfirmation chooseOkOnNextConfirmationAndWait Is there a javascript funtion I can call within SeleniumIDE to do this, or am I out of luck.

  • Javascript click function for multiple Classes

    So basically I have this little social networking site which allow comments. I've built a comment section that will slide down once a user clicks "Comment" and it slides down under the users status. My problem is that right now, the JavaScript only works on ONE post ID, and not the rest obviously seeing you can only use an ID once. But of course if I use classes instead, All the comment sections slide down because now they're all the same class. See below for my HTML and JavaScript.     Is there any way to capture the time interval between mouse wheel scroll start and stop? Actually I want to capture the interval between the scrolling start and stop when I very quickly scroll the mouse wheel. I have already looked at MouseWheel event but it don't fulfill my requirement. In senes that it always gives a value of Delta 120 or -120 but i want to call a function depending on the speed of the mouse scroll for example when i scroll the mouse normally i want to perform function 1 and when i scrolled the mouse very quickly i want to perform the function 2. In other words is there any way to distinguish between the mouse scroll high and normal speed. Any advice will be appreciated.

    I have the bad luck of having to downport some ActionScript 3 code to ActionScript 2 and I have a problem with detecting when the mouse leaves the stage. In ActionScript 3 there is an event called Event.MOUSE_LEAVE, which can be used to detect when the mouse leaves the stage, but there is no equivalent in ActionScript 2 as far as I can see. How would you best emulate the same functionality? Listening for mouse movement and checking the mouse coordinates against the bounds of the stage doesn't work because the mouse coordinates stop updating when the mouse leaves the stage.

    Rectangular or column editing is possible in emacs. And it is very easy with cua-mode enabled. I want to select the rectangular region entirely with the mouse (like Scite or Geany can do). Is that possible in emacs?

    When you browse the web with either Chrome or Firefox and you find a Flash movie or TV show player (e.g. on Hulu), the movie will capture a lot of your keyboard input if you activate it somehow. You can still do basic things like ALT+Tab to switch apps, but basically any web browser keyboard shortcut is inaccessible until you use a mouse to click outside the Flash embed. Is there any way to escape the Flash movie without a mouse?
