  Is there a good Markdown editor for Dojo? I have seen Control.TextArea (based on Prototype) and Stack Overflow's reverse-engineered version of WMD (seems to rely on jQuery) but I'd rather use a Dojo-based tool, as my site already uses this framework. Does such a tool exist? Googling for dojo markdown editor doesn't seem to return any useful results, apart from a Google Summer of Code 2008 student blogging that he's working on it...

• How to determine if a List is sorted in Java?

  I would like a method that takes a List<T> where T implements Comparable and returns true or false depending on whether the list is sorted or not. What is the best way to implement this in Java? It's obvious that generics and wildcards are meant to be able to handle such things easily, but I'm getting all tangled up. It would also be nice to have an analogous method to check if the list is in reverse order.

  Hi All, I have the following strings in my application. /admin/stylesheets/11 /admin/javascripts/11 /contactus what I want to do is to write a regular expression to capture anything other than string starting with 'admin' basically my regex should capture only /contactus by excluding both /admin/stylesheets/11 /admin/javascripts/11 to capture all i wrote /.+/ and i wrote /(admin).+/ which captures everything starts with 'admin'. how can i do the reverse.   Hello everybody I am trying to exclude a certain string from a file search. Suppose I have a list of files: file_Michael.txt, file_Thomas.txt, file_Anne.txt. I want to be able and write something like ls *<and not Thomas>.txt to give me file_Michael.txt and file_Anne.txt, but not file_Thomas.txt. The reverse is easy: ls *Thomas.txt Doing it with a single character is also easy: ls *[^s].txt But how to do it with a string? Sebastian

• How to get R to recognize your working directory as its working directory?

  I use R under Windows on several machines. I know you can set the working directory from within an R script, like this setwd("C:/Documents and Settings/username/My Documents/x/y/z") ... but then this breaks the portability of the script. It's also annoying to have to reverse all the slashes (since Windows gives you backslashes) Is there a way to start R in a particular working directory so that you don't need to do this at the script level?

  Can I user mono's AOT (Ahead of Time compilation) feature to natively "pre-compile" all or part of some of my own .NET DLLs (and or EXEs) to make them harder to reverse engineer? I'm using Windows (7 / x64 but I have an x86 XP machine as well) and .NET 3.5 (VS 2008) and I'm curious if mono/AOT can be/has been used for this purpose? (Tying them to x86 is acceptable at this point.) See also this question where I tried this and had no luck.
