    What is the easiest way to duplicate an image variable in PHP. Normally you can simply do $varnew = $varold. But with a GD library variable if I did the above and then edited $varnew then $varold would be effected too. Obviously one way would be to reopen the file or to make a new image and copy it into it. Is there an easier way?

  • Duplicate Blob field with foreach

    I have some fields (blob) where I have uploaded some images. The images display correctly and I can open it without problem in Photoshop for example. I created a button where user can duplicate the product and everything works fine, but when it comes to duplicate the image entry I got some errors, like 1064 and others ones that I can't remember cause I am working 3 days inside this. Because de original product have 3 or more images I select then and gave an foreach. What I notice when a print de blob is that in the end it eats the next array, like if don't have an end. In other words, the next item got inside that utf-8 character in the print. That gave me some clue. The next approach was to save it in somewhere, and reupload it. The problem is that only the first one works. When I download the image saved, it opens normally so, it is not a saving in disk problem. When I gave a print in the $result, the same happens, is like the image is hungry and ate the next one. Here is the code. Notice = I created the [$count] to see if was not an rewrite in array error.     Is it possible to get the duplicate count when executing MySQL "INSERT IGNORE" statement via JDBC? For example, when I execute an INSERT IGNORE statement on the mysql command line, and there are duplicates I get something like Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.02 sec) Records: 1 Duplicates: 1 Warnings: 0 Note where it says "Duplicates: 1", indicating that there were duplicates that were ignored. Is it possible to get the same information when executing the query via JDBC? Thanks.

    My signed Java applet has been running fine until Java update 19. Now some but not all of our users on Java Update 19 report a java security message stating that our applet contains both signed and unsigned code. The process for creating our applet is as follows: 1: Clean and Build the applet project in Netbeans IDE. 2: Open the Applet jar file in WinRAR and add the required mysql JDBC driver .class files to the jar file. 3: Sign the applet jar file. Can someone please tell me how to determine what code is signed and what code is not signed in our applet? Is there a better way to include the mysql JDBC driver jar file in our applet other than copying the jar file contents into our applet jar file? Thanks

    Hi, I am in the middle of putting together some guidelines around code coverage and I want to specify a number that really makes sense. It's easy to repeat the 100% mantra that I see all over the internet without considering the cost benefit analysis and when diminishing returns actually sets in. I solicit comments from persons who have actually reported code coverage on real-life, medium/large-sized projects. What percentages were you seeing? How much is too much? I really want some balance (in figures) that will help developers produce hight quality code. Is 65% coverage too low to expect? Is 80% too high?

I just had to tell Eclipse this file and I could see the code. But now I haven't the file anymore... So the question is: Where can I find it? Please don't paste the Google results here.   • Is it possible to get code coverage data for a GWT web app running tests from the web browser?

    I am not sure if this is possible but I would like some way to get code coverage information for tests that are written in Quick Test for our GWT based web app. It does not seem like there is any solution because the Quick Test Pro tests are testing against the GWT compiled app and not the original java code in which the app was written. I suppose I could get coverage data on the javascript that the GWT compiler creates, but there would be no way for me (that I know of) to map this information back to the original java code. Is there some way to do this?

    I'm trying to code a batch file to copy only the most recently dated file in a given folder to another directory on the local machine, and simultaneously rename it as it does. I've found a very similar question here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/97371/batch-script-to-copy-newest-file and have managed to cobble together the below code from other forums too, but have hit a brick wall as it only results in the batch file itself being copied to the destination folder. It doesn't matter to me where the batch file itself sits in order for this to run. The source folder is C:!   • What's the best example of pure show-off code you've seen?

    Let's face it, programmers can be show-offs. I've seen a lot of code that was only done a particular way to prove how smart the person who wrote it was. What's the best example of pure show-off code you've seen (or been responsible for) in your time? For me, it'd have to be the guy who wrote FizzBuzz in one line on a whiteboard during a programming interview. Not really that impressive in the scheme of things, but completely unnecessary and pure, "look-what-I-can-do".
