    I have OwnCloud setup and it has a feature called External Site. It loads a site in an iframe, so you can stay in the websites shell. I have a page running on a reverse proxy. Is there anyway to only allow the OwnCloud page to access the reverse proxy while blocking any other connections to it?     I have jQuery thickbox(TB_iframe=true) which shows an https page in an iframe based overlay. the parent page is http & overlay page is https.if i use self.parent.tb_remove() This does not work and gives me Permission denied for https://www.abc.com to get property Window.tb_remove from http://www.abc.com. Any solution. I want to be able to close the thikbox irrespective to whether its is https or http page that it is displaying in an iframe.

    I'm trying to call a function, test(), of an iframe from the parent document using the code subframe.test(); subframe refers correctly to the iframe, alert(subframe) returns [object HTMLIFrameElement], and the function runs in both IE7 and opera (9.23), but not firefox (3.0), chrome (3.0) or safari (3.03 beta windows). I assume these browsers support the functionality, so wondering if perhaps I'm using an incorrect call which IE and Opera support anyway, which wouldn't surprise me.

    I'm working with Colorbox and if I specify to use an iframe with it then the $_SERVER['HTTP_X_REQUESTED_WITH'] variable is no longer available to me. I need that in order to detect if ajax has loaded so then I can include a header/footer or not. Anyway to get this variable or is there another variable that I can get when I use iframe? Thanks.

    Is there a limit of how many js file I can include () in facebook? I include 5 files. no problem.. the 6th one not loaded. Then I have to put the code in the 6th one into the 5th file. then works. so, is it 5 files in max? BY THE WAY, I'm developing the apps now, not in production. so it is not in the stage of compressing JS / minizing it. :) so it is kinda annoying to got missing js files or files not loaded..etc so, what is the limit from FB? what is the file size limit? I know that the JSON request call back data limit is 5000.. but not sure about the js include.

    I am trying to snatch the code of this fan page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/See-oho-nieps-YothG-RRofiLe/106340746065367 I need the function that suggests the fan page to the users friends automatically (not for spamming purposes as the above fan page is used for). Now by looking at the source, I know that the code is under the pagelet_tab_content, but not all of it. I have copied that part and pasted it into my own fan page. The layout looks identical but the functions does not work. Obviously something is missing. For instance, I cant find the in the source which is strange, as I know for definate that it is being used. I have been working with this all day without any result. Maybe there is someone more intelligent and experienced that could help me out?

If it is in the wrong spot I apologize and please let me know where I should post it instead. When sharing an article on a friends wall, facebook will grab a thumbnail of the article. How do they always get the right thumbnail from articles? It doesn't grab the logo img element of of http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/07/world/asia/07convoys.html?hp for example but rather grabs the correct image element that corresponds with the article. I'm looking to do something similar and was wondering of a good way to parse the html to find the image given this example. Thanks.

    Hi, I am trying to implement something done in almost any website out there : a 'ilike' button (like Facebook) that does not require user authetication to be used for any article of my website written in Grails. I don't want to use any external solution, so I need to implement it myself (or use a grails plugin). So my question is : What does it take to implement this 'ilike' button and prevent users from cheating? For instance, do I need to store local cookies (I suppose yes)?     I am developing a Facebook Card Game for my thesis and i am wondering which architecture fits best? I am going to develop the game using Silverlight + ASP.NET. On the one side the game should contain player vs. player card games. On the other there will be also a lot of contant similar to Mafia Wars(or any other game like that) where you just interact with the server (incl. database) I read a lot about ASP.NET MVC, Silverlight MVVM and that stuff.     Does anyone know if you are able to have two sessions save in one iphone app? I don't mean two sessions active. I want to be able to let someone switch between facebook accounts in my app without having to logout and back in. To my understanding a sessions state is saved in user preferences and is resumed when you basically say [ session resume ].
