How do I put constraints like this as the paths are logical and location directive is not supported in .htaccess? I don't get validation errors for each object with a problem which is what I need. I really need an error per instance. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?   • How do I resolve the message "Validating WSFC quorum vote configuration - Action Required."

    I have a 3 node AlwaysOn Availability Group on a 3 node WSFC using node majority. 2 nodes are setup as synchronous with automatic fail-over, the 3rd is setup as asynchronous with manual fail-over. When I try to fail-over using the GUI, I get a warning as shown in the screenshot. There is no warning or error if I fail-over with T-SQL. Adding a file share to the quorum doesn't help. The only way I can resolve the warning is to remove the asynchronous sql instance from the 3rd node (it remains part of the WSFC). Either way, the AlwaysOn dashboard says quorum is OK. Am I missing something? Is this a bug in the GUI that I should just ignore? Clicking "Action Required" gives the following error:

  • How do I fix issue causing "incomplete startup packet" log message trying to implement replication in Postgresql?

    I've got two cloud servers running Ubuntu 13.04 and PostgreSQL 9.2. I've primarily used this blog post to aid me in setting things up. However, to do the initial database dump to the slave I'm using pg_start_backup/pg_stop_backup strategy used in this other blog post. I've read through the docs and postgres wikis as well. I ran into several problems I was able to solve, but I can't get past this wretched "the database is starting up" failure. I'm not sure if seeing "cp: cannot stat '/var/lib/postgresql/9.2/archive/00000001000000000000003A': No such file or directory" after "consistent recover state reached" is normal or the first sign of a problem. The searching I've done on "the database is starting up" and "incomplete startup packet" tells me that something is sending empty TCP packets to the slave. The only thing that even knows about the slave is the master, so I'm not sure why it's sending empty packets... Has anyone worked with this and have an idea what might be going wrong?     Our gentoo server has been left in inconsistent state. I don't know what have been done wrong previously, but now I need to fix the system somehow. I've tried to do revdep-rebuild, but it has failed: ... x11-libs/gksu:0 x11-libs/gtk+:2 x11-libs/gtkglarea:2 x11-libs/libgksu:2 x11-libs/libsvg-cairo:0 x11-libs/qt-gui:4 .......... IMPORTANT: 12 news items need reading for repository 'gentoo'. Use eselect news to read news items. Use /etc/portage/package.keywords to unmask a newer version of the package. (and remove 5_order.rr to be evaluated again) Modify the above emerge command and run it manually. Compile or unmerge unsatisfied packages manually, remove temporary files, and try again.
