Integrating Google Analytics into GWT application

This should be totally simple but I can't get it working no matter what I try. I'm trying to use Google Analytics with GWT application. From what I understood, there are two way to do it: First is synchronous, by inserting tracking code at the end of <head> section HTML page and then calling this method: public static native void recordAnalyticsHit(String pageName) /*-{ pageTracker._trackPageview(pageName); }-*/; Second is asynchronous, by inserting tracking code just after <body> tag and then calling this method: public static native void recordAnalyticsHit(String pageName) /*-{ _gaq.push(['_trackPageview(' + pageName + ')']); }-*/; When running each of those methods, however, I get this exceptions in hosted mode: [ERROR] [myproject] Uncaught exception escaped com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (ReferenceError): pageTracker is not defined [ERROR] [myproject] Uncaught exception escaped com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (ReferenceError): _gaq is not defined When observing site in Firebug, I see that ga.js gets loaded, but that's about it. Did anyone get Analytics working with GWT? Also, does _gaq accept page name as trackPageview parameter, since all the examples I've seen use this call: _gaq.push(['_trackPageview()']); (Of course, that also doesn't work for me.)

Android: Create spinner programmatically from array

Hi, I'm all new to Android and I'm trying to create a spinner programmatically and feeding it with data from an array, but Eclipse gives me a warning that I can't handle. Here's what I got: This ArrayList holds the elements that should be in the spinner (gets filled from a file later on): ArrayList<String> spinnerArray = new ArrayList<String>(); This is code I found on a site which should create the spinner: Spinner spinner = new Spinner(this); ArrayAdapter spinnerArrayAdapter = new ArrayAdapter(this, android.R.layout.simple_spinner_dropdown_item, spinnerArray); spinner.setAdapter(spinnerArrayAdapter); Now the second line (ArrayAdapter...) gives me a warning in Eclipse saying "ArrayAdapter is a raw type... References to generic type ArrayAdapter<T> should be parameterized", I have no idea how to fix this (or what that means in the first place :) ). It's just a warning and the App seems to run alright, but I'd still like to understand what's wrong and fix it. Any hint is appreciated. Greetings, Select0r

OAuth with Google Reader API using Objective C

I'm using the gdata OAuth controllers to get an OAuth token and then signing my requests as instructed. [auth authorizeRequest:myNSURLMutableRequest] It works great for GET requests but POSTs are failing with 401 errors. I knew I wouldn't be able to remain blissfully ignorant of the OAuth magic. The Google Reader API requires parameters in the POST body. OAuth requires those parameters to be encoded in the signature like they were on the query string. It doesn't appear the gdata library does this. I tried hacking it in the same way it handles the query string but no luck. This is so difficult to debug as all I get is a 401 from the Google black box and I'm left to guess. I really want to use OAuth so I don't have to collect login credentials from my users but I'm about to scrap it and go with the simpler cookie based authentication that is more mature. It's possible I'm completely wrong about the reason it's failing. This is my best guess. Any suggestions for getting gdata to work or maybe an alternative iphone friendly OAuth library?

How do I insert and query a DateTime object in SQLite DB from C# ?

Hi All, Consider this snippet of code: string sDate = string.Format("{0:u}", this.Date); Conn.Open(); Command.CommandText = "INSERT INTO TRADES VALUES(" + "\"" + this.Date + "\"" + "," +this.ATR + "," + "\"" + this.BIAS + "\"" + ")"; Command.ExecuteNonQuery(); Note the "this.Date" part of the command. Now Date is an abject of type DateTime of C# environment, the DB doesnt store it(somewhere in SQLite forum, it was written that ADO.NET wrapper automatically converts DateTime type to ISO1806 format) But instead of this.Date when I use sDate (shown in the first line) then it stores properly. My probem actually doesnt end here. Even if I use "sDate", I have to retrieve it through a query. And that is creating the problem Any query of this format SELECT * FROM <Table_Name> WHERE DATES = "YYYY-MM-DD" returns nothing, whereas replacing '=' with '' or '<' returns right results. MVC controller is being called twice

Hello, I have a controller that is being called twice from an ActionLink call. My home page has a link, that when clicked calls the Index method on the Play controller. An id of 100 is passed into the method. I think this is what is causing the issue. More on this below. This is a c#/asp.net project. The full error message I get is:Error 0194: All artifacts loaded into the item collection must have the same version. Multiple versions were encountered. This project was started as a 3.5 and upgraded to 4.0. When I try to test any of the methods I get the error that I posted in the subject line. We are in the process of upgrading to WebSphere 7.0 on Windows 2008 R2. Our applications currently run on WebSphere 6.1 on Windows 2003. We use custom controls we wrote using JSF 1.1 in our applications. I did a few tests with TouchJSON last night and it worked pretty well in general for simple cases. I'm using the following code to read some JSON content from a file, and deserialize it: NSString *jsonString = [[NSString alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:@"data.json"]; NSData *jsonData = [jsonString dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF32BigEndianStringEncoding]; NSError *error = nil; NSDictionary *items = [[CJSONDeserializer deserializer] deserializeAsDictionary:jsonData error:&error]; NSLog(@"total items: %d", [items count]); NSLog(@"error: %@", [error localizedDescription]); That works fine if I have a very simple JSON object in the file (i.e. a dictionary): {"id": "54354", "name": "boohoo"} This way I was able to get access to the array of values, as I wanted to get the item based on its index within the list: NSArray *items_list = [items allValues]; NSString *name = [items_list objectAtIndex:1]; (I understand that I could have fetched the name with the dictionary API) Now I would like to deserialize a semi-complex JSON string, which represents an array of dictionaries. An example of such a JSON string is below: [{"id": "123456", "name": "touchjson"}, {"id": "3456", "name": "bleh"}] When I try to run the same code above against this new content in the data.json file, I don't get any results back. My NSLog() call says "total items: 0", and no error is coming back in the NSError object. Any clues on what is going on? I'm completely lost on what to do, as there isn't much documentation available for TouchJSON, and much less usage examples.

Hi all, I'm trying to send some data via dojo.xhrPost to an Zend Controller Action. I can see the data being sent in Firebug console. However, when inspecting the post data, the array is empty. I'm not sure if it is possible to send an arbitrary string of data via dojo.xhrPost without using a form. This is probably a very n00b mistake. When looking at the dojo.xhrPost examples on the dojo campus web site (http://docs.dojocampus.org/dojo/xhrPost second one to be precise), it looks as if I can just send a string of data. Android visibility issue with checkbox

Hi all! I´m using a checkbox in my code that when its checked it makes a textview and a editText visibles, but if I uncheck de checkbox they continue being visible instead of dissapear. I am a bit perplexed on how to catch a specific error type of Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException, I'll explain why, and I've included a code sample below for you guys to see. As you know there are 2 ways to interact with MOSS. The object model (only runs on MOSS Server) Web Services (can be run on a remote machine querying the MOSS server) So as per code sample I'm using web services to query MOSS, because of this I don't have sharepoint installed on the remote server running these web services and without MOSS installed its impossible to reference the SharePoint DLL to get the specific error type : Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException. If I can't reference the DLL then how the heck am I supposed to catch this specific error type? Generated signed X.509 client certificate is invalid (no certificate chain to its CA)

I use Bouncy Castle for generation of X.509 client certificates and sing them using a known CA. First I read the CA certificate from the certificate store, generate the client certificate, sign it using the CA. Validation of the certificate is failed doe to the following issue A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority. As I understand this is due to the certificate not being related to the CA.
