• Loading any MVC page fails with the error "An item with the same key has already been added."

  I am having an intermittent issue that is appearing on one server only, and is causing all MVC pages to fail to load with the error "An item with the same key has already been added." Restarting the application pool fixes the issue, but until then, loading any mvc page throws the following exception: Event code: 3005 Event message: An unhandled exception has occurred. Custom event details: As mentioned, it's every MVC action that throws this error until the app pool is restarted, and the error seems to be occurring in • Terminal Server/Citrix XenApp alternative?

  Is there something less costly than Citrix XenApp and something better than Windows TS? The industry seems to be dominated by citrix. I'm currently using Windows 2000 Server Terminal Server, but now I have to switch to something better because of performance/color issues. I'm faced with 2 options: 1) Upgrade to Windows 2008 Server + TS (now has App publishing i think?) 2) Get Citrix XenApp Any suggestions or anything I'm not aware of? Cheers

  Oracle Application Server Performance Monitoring and Tuning (CPU load high) i have just hired by a company and my boss give me a performance issue to solve as soon as possible. I don't have any experience with the Java EE before at the server side. Let me begin what i learned about the system and still couldn't find the solution: We have an Oracle Application Server (10.1.) and Oracle Database server (9.2.), the software guys wrote a kind of big J2EE project (X project) using specifically JSF 1.2 with Ajax which is only used in this project. They actively use PL/SQL in their code. So, we started the application server (Solaris machine), everything seems OK. users start using the app starting Monday from different locations (app 200 have user accounts,i just checked and see that the connection pool is set right, the session are active only 15 minutes). After sometime (2 days) CPU utilization gets high,%60, at night it is still same nothing changed (the online user amount is nearly 1 or 2 at this time), even it starts using the CPU allocated for other applications on the same server because they freed If we don't restart the server, the utilization becomes %90 following 2 days, application is so slow that end users starts calling. The main problem is software engineers say that code is clear, and the System and DBA managers say that we have the correct configuration,the other applications seems OK why this problem happens only for X application. I start copying the DB to a test platform and upgrade it to the latest version, also did in same with the application server (Weblogic) if there is a bug or not. i only tested by myself only one user and weblogic admin panel i can track the threads and dump them. i noticed that there are some threads showing as a hogging. when i checked the manuals and control the trace i see that it directs me the line number where PL/SQL code is called from a .java file. The software eng. says that yes we have really complex PL/SQL codes but what's the relation with Application server? this is the problem of DB server, i guess they're right... I know the question has many holes, i'd like to give more in detail but i appreciate the way you guide me. Thanks in advance ...   Is there a native option (ie. without installing extra soft/package/plugins) to enable mouse support in the Terminal app? Actually, I'm using a lot vim with the option set mouse=a (activating mouse features). But it seems that Terminal don't support all xterm's features. It appears (after some googling) that Terminal had once the mouse support, but I wonder where did it go. N.B: I really want mouse support in Terminal, not only for vim, so please, don't suggest MacVim :]

This is easy enough, but what I really need help doing is managing which extenders play specific media and the schedule from a Windows 7 x64 client hopefully within Media Center but I'm open to another management app. Is it possible to dictate the time and location each media is pushed to? I can use either a full machine running a full Win7 OS or a simple MC extender.

• Event Handlers Not Getting Called? - wxWidgets

  Hello all, I'm working on a program for my C++ programming class, using wxWidgets. I'm having a huge problem in that my event handlers (I assume) are not getting called, because when I click on the button to trigger the event, nothing happens. My question is: Can you help me find the problem and explain why they would not be getting called? The event handlers OnAbout and OnQuit are working, just not OnCompute or OnClear. I'm really frustrated as I can't figure this out.   Greetings, I am running PSPad (a Windows programming editor) on Mac OS X (Snow Leopard) using Wine 1.1.35 I want to associate various file extensions (.php, .js, .html) with PSPad.exe Finder does not allow this association -- I can only associate file types with $.app items in Applications. How do I get OS X to pass a file to Wine/PSPad when I double click it in Finder?

  While load testing an ASP.NET app, we find that the pages are taking 20-30 sec under heavy load. We suspect this is because the pages are waiting for database calls or web services. Is there a particular perfmon counter that can identify this sort of bottleneck on the web servers? CPU, Memory, and Disk are normal. Or must we use a tool other than perfmon to track down this bottleneck?

• Access IIS Admin without local administrator rights

  We are running Microsoft Server 2003 with IIS. We would like to give our developers access to manage IIS (through IIS Admin) but do not want them to be administrators of the entire machine. Putting them in "Power Users" group does not seem to work. What permissions should we grant to our developers to allow them to manage IIS (e.g. add websites, modify app pools, etc.) without giving them full admin rights to the server?

  I'm trying to debug some keyboard combinations and shortcuts in iTerm2 and am looking for a program to read keyboard codes. Is there an app that I can run which will tell me the keyboard codes for the keys I'm pressing? The thing that is prompting this is I'm trying to replicate the control+a / control+e behavior in iTerm2 of moving the cursor to the start / end of the line - but using the arrow keys, but I can't seem to figure out the right keycodes to do this.
