• ActionScript shiftKey Not Working In Full Screen Mode?

  I have a php/flex value object that I am using to transmit data to/from in my application. Everything works great php-flex, but I am having an issue with flex-php. In my MergeTemplateService.php service I have the following code. • AWK: compare apache dates without using regular expression

  I'm writing a loganalysis application and wanted to grab apache log records between two certain dates. Assume that a date is formated as such: 22/Dec/2009:00:19 (day/month/year:hour:minute) Currently, I'm using a regular expression to replace the month name with its numeric value, remove the separators, so the above date is converted to: 221220090019 making a date comparison trivial.. but.. Running a regex on each record for large files, say, one containing a quarter million records, is extremely costly.. is there any other method not involving regex substitution? • Specifying SOAP Headers for a Zend_Soap Service

  I have a generally straight forward web service that I've written (converting code to ZF from a Java implementation of the same service and trying to maintain the same wsdl structure as much as possible). The service loads a PHP class, rather than individual functions. The PHP class contains three different functions within it. Everything seems to be working just fine, except that I can't seem to figure out how to specify that a given function parameter should be passed as a SOAP header. I've not seen any mention of SOAP headers in the Server context, only how to pass header parameters with a client to a server. In addition to the standard parameters for the function that would be sent in the SOAP body and detailed in the docblock, I would like to specify two parameters (a username and password) that would be sent in a SOAP header. I have to assume this is possible, but haven't been able to find anything online, nor have I had any responses to a similar post on Zend's forum. Is there something that can be added in the docblock area to specify a parameter as a header (maybe in a similar fashion to using WebParam?)? Any suggestions/examples on how to get this accomplished would be greatly appreciated!

  I want to make sure that during file upload time, only the file of the format jpeg, png and gif are allowed.   Introductory note : I voluntarily chose a wide subject. You know that quote about learning a cat to fish, that's it. I don't need an answer to my question, I need an explanation and advice. I know you guys are good at this ;) Hi guys, I'm currently implementing some algorithms into an existing program. Long story short, I created a new class, "Adder". An Adder is a member of another class representing the physical object actually doing the calculus , which calls adder.calc() with its parameters (merely a list of objects to do the maths on). To do these maths, I need some parameters, which do not exist outside of the class (but can be set, see below). They're neither config parameters nor members of other classes. These parameters are D1 and D2, distances, and three arrays of fixed size : alpha, beta, delta. I know some of you are more comfortable reading code than reading text so here you go : class Adder { public: Adder(); virtual Adder::~Adder(); void set( float d1, float d2 ); void set( float d1, float d2, int alpha[N_MAX], int beta[N_MAX], int delta[N_MAX] ); // Snipped prototypes float calc( List& ... ); // ... inline float get_d1() { return d1_ ;}; inline float get_d2() { return d2_ ;}; private: float d1_; float d2_; int alpha_[N_MAX]; // A #define N_MAX is done elsewhere int beta_[N_MAX]; int delta_[N_MAX]; }; Since this object is used as a member of another class, it is declared in a *.h : private: Adder adder_; By doing that, I couldn't initialize the arrays (alpha/beta/delta) directly in the constructor ( int T[3] = { 1, 2, 3 }; ), without having to iterate throughout the three arrays. I thought of putting them in static const, but I don't think that's the proper way of solving such problems. • minifying final html output using regex with codeigniter

  Google pages suggest you to minify html i.e. remove all the un-necessary spaces. Codeigniter does have feature of giziping output or it can be done via .htaccess. But still I also would like to remove un-necessary spaces from final html output as well. I played a bit with this peace of code to do it, and it seem to work. This does indeed result in html that is without excess spaces and removes other tab formatting. class Welcome extends CI_Controller { function _output() { echo preg_replace('!\s+!', ' ', $output); } function index(){ ... } } Now the problem with this is there may be tag like <pre>,<textarea>, etc.. which may have space in it and regx should remove them. So, how do I remove excess space from final html, without effecting spaces or formatting for these certain tags using regx? • Resize iframe to show first element works except in IE 7

  I have two iframes on my home page, the script below is in the head of the page that is being displayed in the iframe, there are several divisions on the page in a container div with an id of 'content', I want to size the iframe on the home page so that just the first div is initially seen and to scroll to see the rest. It is working in all browsers that I have tried except IE 7, I don't care too much about earlier browsers. • Finding multiple values in a string Jquery / Javascript

  I have a three strings of categories "SharePoint,Azure,IT"; "BizTalk,Finance"; "SharePoint,Finance"; I need to find a way to check if a string contains for example "SharePoint" and "IT", or "BizTalk" and "Finance". The tests are individual strings themselces. How would i loop through all the category strings (1 - 3) and only return the ones which have ALL instances of the souce. i have tried the following function doesExist(source, filterArray) { var substr = filterArray.split(" "); jQuery.each(substr, function() { var filterTest = this; if(source.indexOf(filterTest) != -1 ) { alert("true"); return true; }else { alert("false"); return false; } }); } with little success...the code above checks one at a time rather than both so the results returned are incorrect. • Jquery Dialog - Is there a way to open it without registering it using .dialog?

  This is my problem. I have a page with multiple tabs. I load those tabs dynamically and one of those tabs is a message container (mail). Every time I click a folder link (Inbox, Sent Mail etc) I reload just that tab alone with appropriate content. I use Jquery dialog to pick contacts and I have to load contacts everytime. Since I reload the whole tab content every time JQuery Dialog registers (or creates) the whole div content. To avoid this I did this: if ($("#ui-dialog-title-divContacts").length == 0) { //if dialog data is not created then make dialog $("#divContacts").dialog({ bgiframe: true, resizable: false, autoOpen: false, height: 600, width: 425, modal: true, overlay: { backgroundColor: '#000', opacity: 0.5 }, buttons: { Cancel: function () { //basically do nothing $(this).dialog("close"); }, 'Done': function () { $("#divTo").empty().html($("#divSelectedContacts").html()); $(this).dialog("close"); } } }); } I went to generated viewsource in FF and found that only one instance is being created. My problem now is it is not showing the dialog. Is there a way by which I can open this dialog without registering it. Any help is much appreciated.

• How do I "rebind" the click event after unbind('click') ?

  I have an anchor tag <a class="next">next</a> made into a "button". Sometimes, this tag needs to be hidden if there is nothing new to show. All works fine if I simply hide the button with .hide() and re-display it with .show(). But I wanted to uses .fadeIn() and .fadeOut() instead. The problem I'm having is that if the user clicks on the button during the fadeOut animation, it can cause problems with the logic I have running the show. The solution I found was to unbind the click event from the button after the original click function begins, and then re-bind it after the animation is complete. $('a.next').click(function() { $(this).unbind('click'); ... // calls some functions, one of which fades out the a.next if needed ... $(this).bind('click'); } the last part of the above example does not work. The click event is not actually re-bound to the anchor. does anyone know the correct way to accomplish this? I'm a self-taught jquery guy, so some of the higher level things like unbind() and bind() are over my head, and the jquery documentation isn't really simple enough for me to understand.

• How to create Hash object/array using jquery?

  Hi folks I know there is a Hash() object in the Javascript prototype framework, but is there anything in Jquery like this? As I would like to stick with one javascript framework, rather than mixing the Prototype Frame work and the JQuery framework and use at the same time, as I worry there will be conflict and create side-effects. So my question is: how to create Hash object/array using jquery? • Nested functions not allowed in drawrect problem

  I have a custom view onto which I draw some graphics from the drawrect function, which works fine. However I like to draw based on the contens of an array I pass on the the view just before I do a setNeedsDisplay. In the drawRect function I try to access the array but then I get a nested functions error which I do not understand. They all take in a value x from the array xaxis from 0 to N and then return the value. I want it to plot a graph of xaxis vs f(xaxis) with f being any of the three above functions. The logisticmap function works fine, but for CosineMap i get the error "only length-1 arrays can be converted to python scalars" and for TentMap i get error "The truth value of an array with more than one element is ambiguous, use a.any() or a.all()". My tent map function is suppose to return 2*a*x if 0<=x<0.5 and it's suppose to return 2*a*(1-x) if 0.5<=0<=1.

• Using items in a list as arguments

  Suppose I have a function with the following type signature: g :: a -> a -> a -> b I also have a list of as—let's call it xs—that I know will contain at least three items. I'd like to apply g to the first three items of xs. I know I could define a combinator like the following: ($$$) :: (a -> a -> a -> b) -> [a] -> b f $$$ (x:y:z:_) = f x y z Then I could just use g $$$ xs. This makes $$$ a bit like uncurry, but for a function with three arguments of the same type and a list instead of a tuple. Is there a way to do this idiomatically using standard combinators? Or rather, what's the most idiomatic way to do this in Haskell? I thought trying pointfree on a non-infix version of $$$ might give me some idea of where to start, but the output was an abomination with 10 flips, a handful of heads and tails and aps, and 28 parentheses. (NB: I know this isn't a terribly Haskelly thing to do in the first place, but I've come across a couple of situations where it seems like a reasonable solution, especially when using Parsec. I'll certainly accept "don't ever do this in real code" if that's the best answer, but I'd prefer to see some clever trick involving the ((->) r) monad or whatever.)
