  • Trouble with authlogic_rpx

    Hi, I'm trying to run http://github.com/tardate/rails-authlogic-rpx-sample (only rails version was changed) but get error message http://gist.github.com/385696, when RPX returns information after successful authentication via Google Account. What is wrong here? And how I can fix it? The code was successfully tested with rails 2.3.3 by its author: http://rails-authlogic-rpx-sample.heroku.com/ I run on Windows with cygwin and rails (2.3.5), rpx_now (0.6.20), authlogic_rpx (1.1.1).     I am trying to implement the StoreKit on iPhone 3.1.3 and keep getting the invalidProductIdentifier error. The question I have is the productKey used in following two methods the same? SKProductsRequest *request= [[SKProductsRequest alloc] initWithProductIdentifiers: [NSSet setWithObject: @"com.companyName.productName.upgrade"]]; SKPayment *payment = [SKPayment paymentWithProductIdentifier:@"com.companyName.productName.upgrade"]; The reason i as is because I have tried different productIdentifiers and SKProductsRequest always comes back with invalidProductIdentifier but SKPayment returns SKErrorUnknown for almost all the productIdentifier I tried but interestingly returns SKErrorPaymentInvalid for the @"com.companyName.productName.upgrade" (with the companyName and productName substituted). Any help would be appreciated.

  • How to get contents of Amazon shopping cart?

    I've been investigating whether it's possible to get a list of the saved items in my Amazon shopping basket programmatically ... Their Product Advertising API has methods for getting wishlists: http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AWSECommerceService/latest/DG/index.html?FindingItemsonLists.html and working with remote shopping carts: http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AWSECommerceService/latest/DG/index.html?CHAP_WorkingWithRemoteShoppingCarts.html but the shopping cart of items stored while on the Amazon web site is treated as a local shopping cart, and therefore is not accessible through the Product Advertising API. According to the last link: The opposite of a remote shopping cart is a local shopping cart, which is the shopping cart customers use while shopping on www.amazon.com. It is considered local because Amazon hosts the shopping web pages as well as the shopping cart. Product Advertising API operations work solely with remote shopping carts. Has anyone found a way of getting the contents of the "local" cart, apart from scraping the HTML? Thanks.

    I'm planning a set up for a distributed application that spans serveral machines and will use WCF to send data in between. Machine A Front end website http://www.site.com Password protected site using Forms Authentication Machine B WCF Application Service http://service1.site.com/DoSomething.svc Machine C WCF Application Service http://service2.site.com/DoSomething.svc The WCF services on Machine B and Machine C should check that the request from Machine A has been authenticated. How can i check that the request is authenticated across the different machines? I only care that the request is authenticated and not concerned about securing the message body (because we are not sending any sensitive data across the wire), so SSL is not required. What authentication methods can i use for the above scenario?

    I'm attempting to get Rails to play nice with the Digg API's OAuth. I'm using the oauth gem (ruby one, not the rails one). My code looks approximately like this: @consumer = OAuth::Consumer.new(API_KEY, API_SECRET, :scheme => :header, :http_method => :post, :oauth_callback => "http://locahost:3000", :request_token_url => 'http://services.digg.com/1.0/endpoint?method=oauth.getRequestToken', :access_token_url => 'http://services.digg.com/1.0/endpoint?method=oauth.getAccessToken', :authorize_url => 'http://digg.com/oauth/authorize') @request_token = @consumer.get_request_token session[:request_token] = @request_token.token session[:request_token_secret] = @request_token.secret redirect_to @request_token.authorize_url Which is by-the-book in terms of what the gem documentation gave me. However, Digg spits a "400 Bad Request" error back at me when @consumer.get_request_token is called. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

    Hi, I want to create a multi-tenant application that uses the hostname to determine the customer. For example: CustomerOne.myapp.com AnotherCo.myapp.com AndOneMore.myapp.com ... I can do the database and security side with no problems, I can also get the hostname from the URL, but what I am struggling to find out is how to create the basic plumbing that would allow a new customer to sign up online, provide their company name, and for the application to create the new URL, ready to be used straight away.     Hello! I would like to know if somebody knows free custom nice controls for .NET Compact Framework 2.0. There are nice controls as Manila Interface SDK (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566188), Sense Interface SDK (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=648906) and so on for free, but they work only on .NET CF 3.5. Furthermore, there are others that you have to pay for them and for .NET CF 2.0 and 3.5 (Resco or Touch Control Suite). And there is one called Fluid (http://fluid.codeplex.com/) but it's so complicated, there are not exactly controls (are classes added to a host control) and there is not much documentation to work with it. Any nice controls for free and working in .NET CF 2.0? And with list sliders if it's possible? Thanks!

    I want to use the #! token to make my GWT application crawlable, as described here: http://code.google.com/web/ajaxcrawling/ There is a GWT sample app available online that uses this, for example: http://gwt.google.com/samples/Showcase/Showcase.html#!CwRadioButton Will serve the following static webpage to the googlebot: http://gwt.google.com/samples/Showcase/Showcase.html?_escaped_fragment_=CwRadioButton I want my GWT app to do something similar. In short, I'd like to serve a different flavor of the page whenever the _escaped_fragment_ parameter is found in the URL. What should I modify in order for the server to serve something else (a static page, or a page dynamically generated through a headless browser like HTML Unit)? I'm guessing it could be the web.xml file, but I'm not sure. (Note: I thought of checking the Showcase app provided with the GWT SDK, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to support serving static files on _escaped_fragment_ and it doesn't use the #! token..)

  • Office documents prompt for login in anonymous SharePoint site

    I have a MOSS 07 site that is configured for anonymous access. There is a document library within this site that also has anonymous access enabled. When an anonymous user clicks on a PDF file in this library, he or she can read or download it with no problem. When a user clicks on an Office document, he or she is prompted with a login box. The user can cancel out of this box without entering a log in, and will be taken to the document. This happens in IE but not FireFox. I have the parent message that has something like Message-ID: <[email protected]/> then some replies that have (in addition to their own Message-ID) In-Reply-To: <[email protected]/> However, these show up as two conversations! The first conversation consists solely of the parent message, and the second conversation consists of the other replies. Would adding a References: header (as described in RFC 2822) resolve this?

    hi I have 2 php files each file on different server. lets say the first file called includeThis.php and the second called main.php the first file is located in (http://)www.sample.com/includeThis.php and the second located in (http://)www.mysite.com/main.php so now what I want is to include the first file into my second file. the contents of the first file is like: <?php $foo = "this is data from file one"; ?> the second file like: <?php include "http://www.sample.com/includeThis.php"; echo $foo; ?> is there any way I can do this? thanks in advance

    I need to make a little JS app to scroll automatically through a list of URLs. I've chosen to have the functionality in a pop-up, for various reasons. The syntax to change the opening window's URL is: window.opener.location.href = "http://www.example.com"; This works fine with one URL, but if two statements are called, only one is executed. I experimented with an alert statement between two of the above statements, and the alert event made the second statement function properly: window.opener.location.href = "http://www.example1.com"; alert("hello world"); window.opener.location.href = "http://www.example2.com"; Question is: does anyone know how to get the first and second window.opener statements to work, without the intervening alert();? Also, how can I add a pause between the two statements, so that the second executes a couple of seconds after the first? Thanks so much!

    I've written a big sql script that creates a CSV file. I want to call a cronjob every night to create a fresh CSV file and have it available on the website. Say for example I'm store my file in '/home/sites/example.com/www/files/backup.csv' and my SQL is SELECT * INTO OUTFILE '/home/sites/example.com/www/files/backup.csv' FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '"' LINES TERMINATED BY '\n' FROM ( .... MySQL gives me an error when the file already exists File '/home/sites/example.com/www/files/backup.csv' already exists Is there a way to make MySQL overwrite the file? I could have PHP detect if the file exists and delete it before creating it again but it would be more succinct if I can do it directly in MySQL.

But I need the domain users to be able to get to our company website with the same name (http://example.com) that's hosted out there on a third party's server. I know this has something to do with adding a DNS record, but I don't know what type. I would experiment, but I don't want to break the whole works!

    I have a standard CMS-like RewriteRule set up in my .htaccess: RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?slug=$1 Let's say I have a directory called "foo" in the root directory. For some reason, if you hit the page it causes a redirect: http://www.mysite.com/foo -- http://www.mysite.com/foo?slug=foo Removing the directory fixes the problem, but unfortunately, it's not an option. Does anyone know of a workaround?

    I have a local domain controller setup, which is MYDOMAIN.com, and on a seperate local server I have a MOSS site running. the DNS is all working fine but when I try to connect to the MOSS site using domain credentials I can't use syntax: MYDOMAIN/MyAccount it is expecting MyAccount@MYDOMAIN.com What can I do to fix this issue, so I have normal domain login capabilities like every other sharepoint site out there?
