• Key based authentication (SFTP) failed

  I created a pair or RSA keys using Putty key generator, The Public key is attached set on the server side. The private key at windows client machine and being used with pageant and FileZila and working fine. Now Problem is that when I want to connect same sftp through PSFTP commandline tool, it failes. if possible please provide steps to setup ssh key on windows client to access sftp using psftp or direct through batch file.

• How can I create "My Computer" toolbar at the top of the Desktop in Windows 7?

  In previous versions of Windows, I have been able to "drag and drop" the My Computer icon to the top or sides of the desktop and convert it into a toolbar. The toolbar could be set "always on top" or "autohide". I found this a very convenient way to have instant access to all my drives with NO clicks. Windows 7 does not appear to have this functionality. Is there any way to recreate a My Computer toolbar at the top of the Desktop in Windows 7?

• MacOS' dll equivalent

  Hello all-- so, a DLL is similar to a folder, but it allows for multiple programs/executables to access it at once, thus conserving memory (I think). What is Mac's equivalent of a DLL? I was looking through the Google Chrome folders inside ~/Library/Application Support, and instead of the regular Windows Default.dll there was just a folder, "Default" as a regular file, with contents, I assume, would regularly be inside the DLL. Does the Mac equivalent provide the same function?

• How to preserve file attributes when one copies files in Windows?

  On Linux, we can simply do: cp -pr directory How to do that in Windows? Can it be done in Windows Explorer? Any GUI tool suggestions? It would be the best if I can keep the NTFS permissions and creation/modification/access time. At a minimum, I need to preserve the modification date for the files and the directories. Windows Explorer's copy does not preserve the modification date for directories.

  I've remotely installed VirtualBox OSE on my Gentoo box at home. I have everything set up and ready for the OS. However all the documentation I've read seems to say that you can only use the PUEL version in order to get remote access during installs - does anyone know if it's possible to do similar with the OSE but using VNC? I want to avoid users bypassing Internet access policies by concurently connect to LAN and 3G/Hotspot. We have many developers and they have local administrator rights on workstations. • Can I set up a different method of authentication on Nagios?

  Nagios is a wonderful too for monitoring servers. Their web interface is not bad, either. However I am not crazy about using the HTTP Authentication that comes standard. Is there a way to use another method of authentication?   Frustratingly, after a recent update to Windows XP mode integration features, the availability of shared disks from the hosts has been impaired. Does anyone know any kind of workaround or fix (excluding dropbox et al)? I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling as per http://www.sevenforums.com/virtualization/63710-refreshing-xp-mode.html#post568715 At one point restarting the machine appeared to have worked, but today again I am without access to my host. Interestingly audio and copy and paste to and from the machine are working.

All users home directory's are /home/USER I was wondering: What usergroup should users be in; or should they have their own usergroups()? What user and group should Apache run under? What file permissions should the users /home/USER/public_html and /home/USER directory's be, as well as subsequent files (including such PHP files w/ sensitive information such as DB passwords) Thanks :)

• Why won't any unopened emails sync with my iPhone or Android from our Exchange 2003 server

  My opened emails are syncing fine, but any unopened emails won't come through. If I use Outlook Web Access to open the mail, then it syncs, of it I open it via Outlook it will sync also. Any ideas what would be causing this?
