Is it possible to create a resource with multiple names in xaml?

In a ResourceDictionary, is there any way to specify an alias for a resource? For example, <Color x:Key="BorderColor">#FF000000</Color> <Color x:Key="AlternateBorderColor">{StaticResource BorderColor}</Color> I don't really want another resource called "AlternateBorderColor", I would just like to be able to refer to the original resource by another name.

Is there a way to apply a CSS class from within a style?

I'm trying to be more modular in my CSS style sheets and was wondering if there is some feature like an include or apply that allows the author to apply a set of styles dynamically. Since I am having a hard time wording the question, perhaps an example will make more sense. Let's say, for example, I have the following CSS: .red {color:#e00b0b} #footer a {font-size:0.8em} h2 {font-size:1.4em; font-weight:bold;} In my page, let's say that I want both the footer links and h2 elements to use the special red color (there may be other locations I would like to use it as well). Ideally, I would like to do something like the following: .red {color:#e00b0b} #footer a {font-size:0.8em; apply-class:".red";} h2 {font-size:1.4em; font-weight:bold; apply-class:".red";} To me, this feels "modular" in a way because I can make modifications to the .red class without having to worry so much about where it is used, and other locations can use the styles in that class without worrying about, specifically, what they are. I understand that I have the following options and have included why, in my fairly inexperienced opinion, they are less-than-perfect: Add the color property to every element I want to be that color. Not ideal because, if I change the color, I have to update every rule to match the new color. Add the red class to every element I want to be red. Not ideal because it means that my HTML is dictating presentation. Create an additional rule that selects every element I want to be red and apply the color property to that. Not ideal because it is harder to find all of the rules that style a specific element, making maintenance more of a challenge Maybe I'm just being an ass and the following options are the only options and I should stick with them. I'm wondering, however, if the "ideal" (well, my ideal) method exists and, if so, what is the proper syntax? If it doesn't exist, option 3 above seems like my best bet. However, I would like to get confirmation.

Very Unusual Margin Appears Always in Internet Explorer [CSS]

Only in Internet Explorer does this occur: I'm getting an additional margin (of 19 pixels) below a fieldset and I can't seem to see why, whatever I try! Try it for yourself, take a look at http://theshrop.com/d/call_us_or_call_in.php. To aid I've added a grid and some background colours. The fieldset should have a 1.125em bottom margin and it does in Safari, Firefox etc. It has an extra 19 pixels in Internet Explorer? Simple Physics Simulation in java not working.

I have an old madCatz racing wheel for the playstation 2. The gas and brake pedals are connected to the wheel by a serial port. I just bought a usb racing wheel for the PC but it lacks pedals so I wanted to see if I could get these old madCatz working. I just installed the serial port in my motherboard, but now I have a problem with software. Nothing will recognize the pedal. I was wondering if there are any programs or drivers out there that will allow me to set the pedals up to work. Any advice would be appreciated!

unable to re-attach screen session on freebsd

Does anyone use the L-Track trackball?

I've been using the Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse for years. Now I'm looking for a trackball with a scroll wheel, larger and heavier ball, and preferably rollers instead of pins. It must be finger (not thumb) operated. The Kensington Expert Mouse is close, but from what I've read the scroll wheel is poorly implemented. They also switched from rollers to pins. I bought a Kensington Orbit Trackball and it's not bad but the scroll wheel is rough and the ball is the same as the marble mouse. I'm still looking for something better. I found the L-Trac and it looks good but there's little info on the web. Has anyone used it and can provide their impressions? Or can you point out another option?

Permission problem - users can't access main index.php anymore

From /var/www, I executed "chmod -R 774 ." and now none of my .php scripts are accessible. From my browser, when I type in mydomain.com or mydomain.com/test2.php or mydomain.com/test.php, I get the 403 Forbidden error msg. So, I changed the permissions of 3 of the .php scripts to 775, but this didn't help either. I am attempting to add highslide-with-html.js from http://highslide.com/ to my masterpage. I am receiving a 403 forbidden error when I use the provided masterpage. I have placed it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033. Test javascript files such as pirate.js which consists solely of alert("Arr!"); have loaded from the same directory. I have provided the code for the masterpage. How to make a css navigation menu "selected" option still clickable

So I have a fairly simple vertical CSS menu based off of UL. <ul class="vertnav"> <li><a href="unselected1.php">Item1</a></li> <li><a href="unselected2.php">Item2</a></li> <li><a href="selected.php" class="vertnavdown">Selected</a></li> </ul> I want three basic colors (say tan for default LI, orange for VERTNAVDOWN, and red for A:HOVER. However I can't seem to get the vertnavdown class to inherit right, and the .vertnav li a:visited overrides it every time. if I use !important to force it through I can't seem to also get the hover to work. Any suggestions? How can I reset addAttributeToFilter in Magento searches

I'm having problems getting the addAttributeToFilter function within a loop to behave in Magento. However, the values fed into addAttributeToFilter on the first itteration of the loop seem to remain stored for each search. I've tried clearing my search object, for example, unset($searcher) and unset($result). I've also tried magento functions such as getNewEmptyItem(), resetData(), distinct() and clear() but none have the desired effect. Basically what I am trying to do is check for duplicate products before my script attempts to programatically create a product with these attribute combinations. The array of attribute selections may be of varying sizes hence the need for a loop. I would be very appreiciative if anyone might be able to shed some light on my problem.

I'm trying to make a custom swing control that is a meter. The arrow will move up and down.
