  • Syntax error, need help with this 'string'

    I have this piece of code here below: $fq.=" + (fritidsboende_uth_from:[$fritids_uth_from TO *] AND fritidsboende_uth_to:[* TO $fritids_uth_to]) OR (fritidsboende_uth_from:'1972-01-01T01:01:00Z' AND fritidsboende_uth_to:'2019-01-01T01:01:00Z')"; I have noticed my app doesn't get anything behind the colon, in this part of the code: OR (fritidsboende_uth_from:'1972-01-01T01:01:00Z' // Notice the colon in the date string I get this error msg: Unrecognized date string: '1972-01-01T01'. Nothing from behind the colon is there though. How should I 'escape' it so that the colon is properly recognized? Its PHP... Thanks

    I have a Perl script to open this page http://svejo.net/popular/all/new/ and filter the names of the posts but except headers everything seems encrypted. Nothing can be read. When I open the same page in a browser everything looks fine including the source code. How is it possible to encrypt a page for a script and not for a browser? My Perl script sends the same headers as my browser (Google Chrome).

  • Positioning Photos in a Grid (HTML)

    Hey Everyone, I've been trying to code this page for a while, but my biggest problem is that I can't seem to get the photos perfectly positioned. For some reason, there is a small bottom padding in each <td>which is messing things up.     I am trying to build the following layout (file browser type of thing, left block would contain a list of files, right panel would contain selected file content): <------------- MENU -------------------> <--- LEFT ----><------- RIGHT ---------> <--- LEFT ----><------- RIGHT ---------> <--- LEFT ----><------- RIGHT ---------> <--- LEFT ----><------- RIGHT ---------> <--- LEFT ----><------- RIGHT ---------> <--- LEFT ----><------- RIGHT ---------> The page itself shouldn't have any scrollbars. Menu has 100% width and fixed height Left block has fixed width and 100% height. If content is taller - scroll bar appears inside the left block only. Right block contains <pre> element and takes the remaining width and 100% height. If content is wider or taller - scrollbar appears inside the right block only. This is what I have so far: http://jsbin.com/uqegi4/3/edit The problem is fixed menu height messes up 100% height calculation and all scrollbars inside left and right blocks appear at wrong time. I don't care about cross browser compatibility, only Chrome matters. Thanks.

  • Basic HTML Internal Link not working in IE8

    This one has me scratching my head. I have a page with several internal links bringing the user down the page to further content. Beneath various sections there are further internal links bringing the user back to the top. This works fine in all browsers apart from IE8 (actual IE8 - not IE9 in IE8 mode) where they work go down, but not coming back up! Examples: <a href="page.php?v=35&amp;u=admin-videos#a">A &ndash; General</a> .... //travelling DOWN the page <h3><strong>A &ndash; General<a name="a"></a></strong></h3> <a name="top"></a> .... //travelling back up <a href="page.php?v=35&amp;u=admin-videos#top">Back to top.</a> I've tried filling the 'top' anchor with &nbsp; but that hasn't changed it.     Hello, I have an input tag. This tag does not have the autocomplete feature turned off, thus, one does not necessarily need to release a key to change the value of this field and focus anotehr one. My question is: how can I detect ANY value changes of this particular field, like e. g. <input onvaluechange="//do following..." /> The JavaScritp attribute onchange does not fire on change of value, only on changes like blur, focus, etc...     Hello, I'm creating an app that will have a list of messages, each message can be either read or unread. Think GMAIL (though I'm not trying to rebuild that)... My question is when I output all these messages, I need to list if the message is read or unread, I also need to provide the ability to change the message status, from read to unread. That being said, how do you suggest I stored this? A checkbox, a hidden input value? Any thoughts? Thanks

  • Display two images side by side on an HTML Page

    I am trying to place two images of the same size side-by-side. If I use a "table" then I am able to display both images side-by-side. But in my CSS Stylesheet I am using a custom format for the table and this shows on the page containing the images too. But I want to just display both images without any custom background or border etc. I tried using "div", "span", "ul" & "li" etc. but failed in each case. How can I place two images (of same size) in a single line, without using a "table"? If I have to use "table" for the same, then how can I use two (or more) different formatting for my tables using CSS? Thank you. Lalit Kumar Barik

    i just went to test a website in firefox 4 (beta 10) and the horizontal menu is showing up vertically. Here is the website: http://www.fsf60k.org/ In chrome, the menu is horizontal like this: but in firefox 4 it shows up like this: I am using the superfish horizontal menu. The examples on the website seems fine in firefox 4. how would i begin to investigate if this is a bug in firefox 4 or is there something wrong with my horizontal menu code??

    Do you know when you use in a form the password field, like this: <input type="password" name="pass"> And you do a GET or POST submit to the same page who have the form and if the user hit back in the browser the password field gets blank. Well thats good, but i need to get blank another form field when the user hit back. Thats because i asking for a captcha and the text field who hold the information entered by the user ramain fill when he hit back, but the captcha image change, and if i dont blank the field the user (sometimes) dont get that he needs to re-enter the captcha.     I have a web shop which sends my customers to a pretty popular website to redeem their just purchased product (at my site). However, I keep getting complaints that the product has been redeemed at the wrong account. Because the other website is that popular, it often appears that when the customers computer is shared by others the wrong account was logged in (automatically by a coockie). Now I'm wondering which steps I can take to prevent this from happening, since I don't have control over the other website (which does not make clear enough who's logged in). Is there some way to open another website without its coockies?
