  • Build comma seperated string from the struct in C#

    - by acadia
    Hello, I have the following struct in C# class public struct Employee { public const string EMPID = "EMP_ID"; public const string FName = "FIRST_NAME"; public const string LNAME = "LAST_NAME"; public const string DEPTID = "DEPT_ID"; } Is there an easy way to build a string as follows const string mainquery="INSERT INTO EMP(EMP_ID,FIRST_NAME,LAST_NAME,DEPT_ID) VALUES(:EMP_ID,:FIRST_NAME,:LAST_NAME,:DEPT_ID)" Instead of doing as follows and then concatenating it. const string EMP_COLS= EMPLOYEE.EMPID + "," + EMPLOYEE.FNAME + "," + EMPLOYEE.LNAME + "," + EMPLOYEE.DEPTID; const string EMP_Values= EMPLOYEE.EMPID + ":" + EMPLOYEE.FNAME + ":" + EMPLOYEE.LNAME + ":" + EMPLOYEE.DEPTID;

  • How can I compare two jpeg encoding and other inormations

    - by Subhen
    We have created a Driver programe which connect to a remote host using FTP and mount the remote host as a network drive. So when I try to copy some data it copies using FTP retrieve request and then paste it to the destination. The copy paste works fine as we can see the source file size and destination size are same. But while we try to open the .jpg file that is being copied , says no preview. I suspect there must be some bytes that is being corrupted while we try to copy and paste. Is there any tools so that I can compare both source and destination to get the differences.

  • Customizing compare in bsearch()

    - by Richard Smith
    I have an array of addresses that point to integers ( these integers are sorted in ascending order). They have duplicate values. Ex: 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4...... I am trying to get hold of all the values that are greater than a certain value(key). Currently trying to implement it using binary search algo - void *bsearch( const void *key, const void *base, size_t num, size_t width, int ( __cdecl *compare ) ( const void *, const void *) ); I am not able to achieve this completely, but for some of them. Would there be any other way to get hold of all the values of the array, with out changing the algorithm I am using?

  • how to retrieve substring from string having variable length of character in php?

    - by user187580
    Hello I have some data in the format of C222 = 50 C1234P687 = 'some text' C123YYY = 'text' C444 = 89 C345 = 3 C122P687 = 'some text' C122YYY = 'text' .... .... so basically 3 different forms "C" number = value, example - C444 = 89 "C" number "P" number = value, example - C123P687 = 'some text' "C" number "YYY" = value Only number is of variable length on the left side of (=) sign. Values vary. I want to store the data in db as INSERT INTO datatable c_id = "number after C" p_id = "number after P" // if it exists for a line of data value = 'value' yyy = 'value' Any ideas how to retrieve these numbers? Thanks

  • Meta package / quick reference for string manipulation commands?

    - by Dylan McCall
    The latest version of the Scribes text editor lets us select some text, hit Alt+X, and then run an arbitrary command. For example, I can run the sort command and the selected text is replaced appropriately. This is quite useful but I am also not very well-versed in awk and the like. Is there something I can grab that will provide more of these commands like sort? Maybe a package with a whole bunch of handy, task-specific string manipulation commands?

  • Display a JSON-string as a table

    - by Martin Aleksander
    I'm totally new to JSON, and have a json-string I need to display as a user-friendly table. I have this file, http://ish.tek.no/json_top_content.php?project_id=11&period=week, witch is showing ID-numbers for products (title) and the number of views. The Title-ID should be connected to this file; http://api.prisguide.no/export/product.php?id=158200 so I can get a table like this: ID | Product Name | Views 158200 | Samsung Galaxy SIII | 21049 How can I do this?

  • Chrome causing 404's ending with "/cache/[hex-string]/"?

    - by Jan Fabry
    Since the last weeks we see many 404's on our sites caused by Chrome adding /cache/[hex-string]/ to the current page URL. The hex strings we have seen are: e9c5ecc3f9d7fa1291240700c8da0728 1d292296547f895c613a210468b705b7 408cfdf76534ee8f14657ac884946ef2 9b0771373b319ba4f132b9447c7060a4 b8cd4270356f296f1c5627aa88d43349 If you search for these strings you get matches from different sites, but they are most likely auto-generated (/search/cache/e9c5ecc3f9d7fa1291240700c8da0728/ for example). Is this a known issue with Chrome (or an extension)?

  • New DMF for SQL Server 2008 sys.dm_fts_parser to parse a string

    Many times we want to split a string into an array and get a list of each word separately. The sys.dm_fts_parser function will help us in these cases. More over, this function will also differentiate the noise words and exact match words. The sys.dm_fts_parser can be also very powerful for debugging purposes. It can help you check how the word breaker and stemmer works for a given input for Full Text Search.

  • Compare images after canny edge detection in OpenCV (C++)

    - by typoknig
    Hi all, I am working on an OpenCV project and I need to compare some images after canny has been applied to both of them. Before the canny was applied I had the gray scale images populating a histogram and then I compared the histograms, but when canny is added to the images the histogram does not populate. I have read that a canny image can populate a histogram, but have not found a way to make it happen. I do not necessairly need to keep using the histograms, I just want to know the best way to compare two canny images. SSCCE below for you to chew on. I have poached and patched about 75% of this code from books and various sites on the internet, so props to those guys... // SLC (Histogram).cpp : Defines the entry point for the console application. #include "stdafx.h" #include <cxcore.h> #include <cv.h> #include <cvaux.h> #include <highgui.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <sstream> #include <iostream> using namespace std; • Export to excel - COMMA issue

    - by 6242Y
    I want to put a string in an excel sheet from my Export to excel function. However my string is as follows: string : Red, red wine Go to my head Make me forget that I Still need and on my excel I get unexpected results , column change after comma and also column change when there is no full stop in front of an UPPER CASE alphabet. The Upper case alphabets (without a full stop before them) are also causing this (Go , Make . Still) How can I solve this issue ? I tried removing the spaces after the comma as var desc = ""; if (o.Description.Contains(',')) { var trimmedSplits = new List<string>(); var splits = o.Description.Split(','); foreach (var stringBits in splits) { desc = desc + stringBits.Trim() + ","; } desc = desc.Remove(desc.Length - 1); } dtRow[(int)ProductRangeExportToExcel.Description] = desc;

  • SSI: Failed String Comparison with CGI Environment Variable [migrated]

    - by Calyo Delphi
    I am currently working on developing a personal website. It's not my first time doing this, but this is my first major foray into implementing SSI. I've run myself into a wall, however, with an if-else directive that uses one of the CGI environment variables as part of its comparison. Even after some limited attempts at debugging, all of the output and documentation that I have means that the comparisons being made should fail outright. This is not the case, and the wrong evaluation is being made by the if-else directive. Here's the code in the file index.shtml: <head> <!--#set var="page" value="Home" --> <!--#include file="headlinks.shtml" --> <style> img#ref { float: right; margin-left: 8px; border-width: 0px; } </style> </head> Here's the code in the file headlinks.shtml: <title><!--#echo var="page" --> &ndash; <!--#echo var="HTTP_HOST" --></title> <!--#set var="docroot" value="${DOCUMENT_ROOT}" --> <!--#echo var="docroot" --> <!--#if expr="( $docroot != '/Applications/MAMP/htdocs' ) || ( $docroot != '/home/dragarch/public_html' )" --> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../style.css"> <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/svg+xml" href="../favicon.svg" /> <!--#else --> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css"> <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/svg+xml" href="favicon.svg" /> <!--#endif --> And here's the output for the file index.shtml: <title>Home &ndash; dragarch</title> /Applications/MAMP/htdocs <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../style.css"> <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/svg+xml" href="../favicon.svg" /> Both style.css and favicon.svg are in the document root with index.shtml, so the if directive should fail and default to the output of the else directive. As you can see, while the document root (which is currently the MAMP htdocs folder on my own notebook) is correct according to the output of the echo directive, the comparison in the if-else directive fails to compare the strings properly. I'm using this page for my documentation: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_include.html I'm at a complete loss as to why this is the case, and need a bit of help here. EDIT: I should note that dragarch is a hostname that I configured in /etc/hosts to point to 127.0.0.1 so I could test the site without having to use localhost. It has no real effect on the functionality of anything, other than to just act as a prettier hostname to use.

  • Asp.net mvc 2 .net 4.0 error when View model type is Tuple with more than 4 items

    - by Bojan
    When I create strongly typed View in Asp.net mvc 2, .net 4.0 with model type Tuple I get error when Tuple have more than 4 items example 1: type of view is Tuple<string, string, string, string> (4-tuple) and everything works fine view: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/WebUI.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<Tuple<string, string, string, string>>" %> controller: var tuple = Tuple.Create("a", "b", "c", "d"); return View(tuple); example 2: type of view is Tuple<string, string, string, string, string> (5-tuple) and I have this error: Compiler Error Message: CS1003: Syntax error, '>' expected view: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/WebUI.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<Tuple<string, string, string, string, string>>" %> controller: var tuple = Tuple.Create("a", "b", "c", "d", "e"); return View(tuple); example 3 if my view model is of type dynamic I can use both 4-tuple and 5-tuple and there is no error on page view: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/WebUI.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<dynamic>" %> controller: dynamic model = new ExpandoObject(); model.tuple = Tuple.Create("a", "b", "c", "d"); return View(model); or view: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/WebUI.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<dynamic>" %> controller: dynamic model = new ExpandoObject(); model.tuple = Tuple.Create("a", "b", "c", "d", "e"); return View(model); Even if I have something like Tuple<string, Tuple<string, string, string>, string> 3-tuple and one of the items is also a tuple and sum of items in all tuples is more than 4 I get the same error, Tuple<string, Tuple<string, string>, string> works fine
