    While studying the Collection API, we find that some methods (add, remove,...) may throw a java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException if the current implementation of the Collection does not support those functionalities.   • OutOfMemory exception as I rotating the emulator.

    I get the following OutOfMemory Error as I rotating my android emulator. I start with Portrait mode. I switch to Landscape mode.     Hi, In my application I download several critical files from a server, and I want to write some code that handles the case where the a file download didn't complete for a reason or other ,to retry downloading it at next startup. The function that downloads a file at a time however throws only MalformedURLException and IOException , but if these exceptions are thrown that means that the download didn't even begin. I usually go with #1, but figured I'd check if there's an argument to be made for #2.

    Hi! I am using mysql as db for my asp.net application. Here are the facts: I am using connection string from web.config which has both username and password. I can do SELECT with tableadapter. When I am trying to do INSERT with tableadapter, I am getting "mysqlexception insert command denied for user" error When I try to do INSERT programatically, i.e. using connection, command object, etc. everything is fine. In this case, I'm reading connection string from web.config, too. This can be only applied to GoDaddy hosting, but on local machine I don't have this kind of problems. Can anyone suggest what can I do to make it work on GoDaddy hosting? Regards, D

    I have a piece of .NET code that is erroring out when it makes a call to HTTPWebRequest.GetRequestStream. Here is the error message: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. I've read a few things that suggest that I might need a certificate on the machine running the code, but i'm not sure if that's true or how to do it. If I need to get a certificate, how do I do it?     I have a multithreaded windows service that will unpredictably stop running once every 24 hours or so. I am writing to the event log and that's going through just fine, but whenever the service crashes there are no messages in the event log (even that the service stopped, despite having AutoLog=true). Is there a way to have uncaught exceptions written straight to the log, even if they aren't in the original thread?

Using a GridView control and the DataKeyNames attribute <asp:GridView ID="data" runat="server" DataKeyNames="ID"> <Columns> <asp:BoundField DataField="ID" /> <!-- this binds --> If I take out the DataKeyNames="ID" it binds the data. I would really like to try and use DataKeyNames so I don't need to have the ID column in the columns list. Error: DataBinding: 'Nmspace.MyClass' does not contain a property with the name '"ID"'.     Hi, I have a listview in my Android Application. Now, when the user presses Next Button other contents will be loaded into the listview. What I want is that if there are no more contents available then there should be a toast displayed indicating that there are no more data available. Say, for example I have a total of 55 data available and I am displaying only 30 of them in one listview. So, when the user presses Next for the first time next 25 records will be visible. If the user again presses the Next button then a toast should be displayed on top of the last listview that had last 25 records. Currently I get an error as IndexOutOfBoundException : Invalid location 15 size is 1. Can someone suggest how is it possible? Regards Sunil
