  i am sending email to the users using smtp client and MailMessage class. i have been adding the addresses of multiple receivers in the to property of the object of MailMessage class. the problem is that the receiver can see the email addresses of other receipents. is there any way to hide the email addresses of other receipents. i mean setting some property or something like that. otherwise i will be left with only option to send individual email to the users. any help plesae

• Persisting a collection backed by viewstate in a CompositeControl

  Maybe it's been a long day but I'm having trouble persisting a collection backed by the ASP.NET ViewState in a CompositeControl. Here's a simplified version: public class MyControl : CompositeControl { public Collection<MyObject> MyObjectCollection { get { return (Collection<MyObject>)ViewState["coll"] == null ? new Collection<MyObject>() : (Collection<MyObject>)ViewState["coll"]; } set { ViewState["coll"] = value; } } } public partial class TestPage : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void btn_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { myControl1.MyObjectCollection.Add(new MyObject()); } } When the button is clicked, the event hander btn_Click executes fine, but the setter for MyObjectCollection never gets called, hence the new MyObject() never gets persisted. I think I'm just having a blonde moment. Anyone fancy helping out?

• replacing div content with a click using jquery

  I see this question asked a lot in the related questions, but my need seems very simple compared to those examples, and sadly I'm just still too new at js to know what to remove...so at the risk of being THAT GUY, I'm going to ask my question... I'm trying to switch out the div contents in a box depending on the button pushed. Right now I have it working using the animatedcollapse.toggle function, but it doesn't look very good. I want to replace it with a basic fade in on click and fade in new content on next button. • Stop images from wrapping when div width is to small.

  I have a div that contains a ul and in each li there is a picture. I have floated the pictures left to get them to line up in a straight line however once it reaches the end of the div, it wraps. I would like the pictures to continue on to the right, hidden, so that I am able to create a carousel. My code is below. • Is Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfDisk_PhysicalDisk missing from WMI in Vista?

  From what I understand, the following script should work in Windows XP and higher, but it doesn't work for me in Vista Business 32-bit Service Pack 2. Thus far I have been very unsuccessful googling for information about this performance class. strComputer = "."   Hi, in all examples of spring.net IoC i can see something like this: interface IClass; class ClassA : IClass; class ClassB : IClass, and then in config.xml file something like [object id="IClass" type="ClassB, Spring.Net.Test" /] but, i really need to do something like this: in config file there will be more implementations if interface: [object id="IClass" type="ClassA, Blah" /] [object id="IClass" type="ClassB, Blah" /] and then, in runtime i choose from them, something like this: IClass c = [get me all implementations of IClass, and choose the one with GetType().FullName == myVariableContainingFullTypeNameOfObjectIWant] how can i do something like this please, i cant google anything for hours.... many thanks !

• ASP.NET MVC Page - Viewstate for Confirm email field is getting erased on Registration Page if valid

  Hi I have a Registaration page with the following fields Email, Confirm Email, Password and Confrim Password. On Register Button click and post the model to the server, the Model validates and if that Email is already Registered, it displays the Validation Error Message "User already Exists. Please Login or Register with a different email ID". While we are displaying this validation error message, I am loosing the value of "Confirm Email" field. So that the user has to reenter again and I want to avoid this. Here I don't have confirm_Email field in my Model. Is there something special that has to be done to remain Confirm Email value on the Page even in case of Validation failure? Appreciate your responses. • Object reference error even when object is not null

  hi, i have an application wherein i have incorporate a "Remember Me" feature for the login screen. I do this by creating a cookie when the user logs in for the first time, so next time when the user visits the site i get the cookie and load the user information. i have written the code for loading user information in a common class in the App_Code folder...and all my pages inherit from this class. code for loading the user info is as follows: public static void LoadUserDetails(string emailId) { UsersEnt currentUser = UsersBL.LoadUserInfo(emailId); if (currentUser != null) HttpContext.Current.Session["CurrentUser"] = currentUser; } Now the problem is i get an "Object reference" error when i try to store the currentUser object in the session variable (even though the currentUser object is not null). However the password property in the currentUser object is null. Am i getting the error because of this...or is there some other reason?? thank you

• Available Coroutine Libraries in Java

  I would like to do some stuff in Java that would be clearer if written using concurrent routines, but for which full-on threads are serious overkill. The answer, of course, is the use of coroutines, but there doesn't appear to be any coroutine support in the standard Java libraries and a quick Google on it brings up tantalising hints here or there, but nothing substantial. Here's what I've found so far: JSIM has a coroutine class, but it looks pretty heavyweight and conflates, seemingly, with threads at points. The point of this is to reduce the complexity of full-on threading, not to add to it. Further I'm not sure that the class can be extracted from the library and used independently. Xalan has a coroutine set class that does coroutine-like stuff, but again it's dubious if this can be meaningfully extracted from the overall library. It also looks like it's implemented as a tightly-controlled form of thread pool, not as actual coroutines. There's a Google Code project which looks like what I'm after, but if anything it looks more heavyweight than using threads would be. I'm basically nervous of something that requires software to dynamically change the JVM bytecode at runtime to do its work. This looks like overkill and like something that will cause more problems than coroutines would solve. Further it looks like it doesn't implement the whole coroutine concept. By my glance-over it gives a yield feature that just returns to the invoker. Proper coroutines allow yields to transfer control to any known coroutine directly. Basically this library, heavyweight and scary as it is, only gives you support for iterators, not fully-general coroutines. The promisingly-named Coroutine for Java fails because it's a platform-specific (obviously using JNI) solution. And that's about all I've found. I know about the native JVM support for coroutines in the Da Vinci Machine and I also know about the JNI continuations trick for doing this. These are not really good solutions for me, however, as I would not necessarily have control over which VM or platform my code would run on. (Indeed any bytecode manipulation system would suffer similar problems -- it would be best were this pure Java if possible. Runtime bytecode manipulation would restrict me from using this on Android, for example.) So does anybody have any pointers? Is this even possible? If not, will it be possible in Java 7? Edited to add: Just to ensure that confusion is contained, this is a related question to my other one, but not the same. This one is looking for an existing implementation in a bid to avoid reinventing the wheel unnecessarily. The other one is a question relating to how one would go about implementing coroutines in Java should this question prove unanswerable. The intent is to keep different questions on different threads.

• How to do call function after client finishes download from tornado web server?

  I would like to be able to run some cleanup functions if and only if the client successfully completes the download of a file I'm serving using Tornado. I installed the firefox throttle tool and had it slow the connection down to dialup speed and installed this handler to generate a bunch of rubbish random text: class CrapHandler(BaseHandler): def get(self, token): crap = ''.join(random.choice(string.ascii_uppercase + string.digits) for x in range(100000)) self.write(crap) print "done" I get the following output from tornado immediately after making the request: done I 100524 19:45:45 web:772] 200 GET /123 (192.168.45.108) 195.10ms The client then plods along downloading for about 20 seconds. I expected that it would print "done" after the client was done. Also, if I do the following I get pretty much the same result: class CrapHandler(BaseHandler): @tornado.web.asynchronous def get(self, token): crap = ''.join(random.choice(string.ascii_uppercase + string.digits) for x in range(100000)) self.write(crap) self.finish() print "done" Am I missing something fundamental here? The issue is that some of the tags rely on each other so, I'm wondering how to get around that ordering from the looping. • ForceContext Queries method twice?

So I can clearly see when its accessed more than once in a minute. If I comment out the second contextSwitch line, it only goes up 1, if Its not, it displays the xml page but adds 2 minutes (being called twice somehow). Any ideas?

• rake task can't access rails.cache

  Hi I want to call a rake task from a cron job that stores remote weather data in the rails cache. However, I must be doing something pretty wrong here because I cannot find any solution through countless fruitless searches. Say I define and call this task namespace :weather do desc "Store weather from remote source to cache" task :cache do Rails.cache.write('weather_data', Date.today) end end I get the error Anonymous modules have no name to be referenced by Which leads me to believe the rails cache isn't available. Outputting Rails.class from the rake file gives me Module but Rails.cache.class again returns the above error. Do I need to include something here?   I have a many-to-many relationship defined in my Symfony (using doctrine) project between Orders and Upgrades (an Order can be associated with zero or more Upgrades, and an Upgrade can apply to zero or more Orders). # schema.yml Order: columns: order_id: {...} relations: Upgrades: class: Upgrade local: order_id foreign: upgrade_id refClass: OrderUpgrade Upgrade: columns: upgrade_id: {...} relations: Orders: class: Order local: upgrade_id foreign: order_id refClass: OrderUpgrade OrderUpgrade: columns: order_id: {...} upgrade_id: {...} I want to set up delete cascade behavior so that if I delete an Order or an Upgrade, all of the related OrderUpgrades are deleted. Where do I put onDelete: CASCADE? Usually I would put it at the end of the relations section, but that would seem to imply in this case that deleting Orders would cascade to delete Upgrades. Is Symfony + Doctrine smart enough to know what I'm wanting if I put onDelete: CASCADE in the above relations sections of schema.yml?

Right now I am trying two things... $('#bob').children('.divTitle')[0].css('background-color', '#0f0'); // assuming children is returning an array... and $('#bob').children('.divTitle').css('background-color', '#0f0'); neither with any success... can anyone tell me what I am missing here? Do I have to go deeper than ".children"?

So, what am I doing wrong? Is there some part of the documentation I've missed?
