• WCF Custom SOAP Header Issues

  I'm trying to implement an endpoint behavior which injects a custom SOAP header into all messages to and from a service. MessageHeaderDescription description = (MessageHeaderDescription) headerPart.Description; object parameterValue = parameters[description.Index]; I think the last line above is throwing the exception. The parameters variable is from IDispatchFormatter.SerializeReply What's going on?!?!! Any help would be greatly appreciated...

• Validation problem with a 'JotForm' template

  A client sent me a form template they had created using jotform.com to implement on their wordpress site. The form template is supposed to hide part of the form until the user clicks the 'next' button. At which point a script is supposed to validate all of the input fields the user has presumably filled out and then display the rest of the form. While I have successfully managed to get the form to display the next part of the form when the user clicks 'next', it fails to validate the input fields. Its kind of difficult to explain without a huge block of text so it is probably easier to show you: The original working template that the customer sent me: http://www.loftist.com/jotform/List_Your_Loft.html The problem child: http://www.loftist.com/?page_id=78 If you just click on one of the input fields and then click elsewhere on the page, the input fields successfully return a validation error message and prevent the user from clicking on the 'next' button. However, if you simply click on the next button than the next set of fields get displayed. Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong here? Im convinced this must be a really simple problem but Im not sure what it could be....

• Telerik MVC Grid won't load data into details table (subtable)

  I have a list of Plants and assosiated Projects. I want to output this in a table with all the Plants and use Telerik.Grid to expand a Plant, show a Telerik.Grid with associated Projects. I want the Projects to be dynamically loaded with Ajax. The code for the grid: @(Html.Telerik().Grid<PlantDto>() .Name("Plants") .Columns(columns => { columns.Bound(plant => plant.Title); }) .DetailView(details => details.ClientTemplate( Html.Telerik().Grid<ProjectDto>() .Name("Plant_<#= Id #>") .DataBinding(dataBinding => dataBinding.Ajax() .Select("ProjectsForPlant", "User", new { plantId = "<#= Id #>" })) .ToHtmlString() )) .DataBinding(dataBinding => dataBinding.Ajax().Select("PlantsForUser", "User")) ) The initial data is loaded into the grid just fine (the list of Plants) but when I expand a plant I just get an empty sub-table. Looking in FireBug there are no calls to the server. The controller that should serve the list of projects is never called. Anyone have an idea on what it could be?

• can someone help me with why my OnClickListener won't work? Android

• How can I define an empty array in a Perl construtor?

  I am just beginner with Perl, so if it sounds stupid - sorry for that :) My problem is - I am trying to write a class, which has an empty array, defined in constructor of a class. Maybe someone could show me example how the class would need to be defined so I would not get any default values in my array?

• Wordpress inserting comments via wp_insert_comment()

  Hello all happy holidays! :) I'm trying to insert comments in my wordpress blog via the wp_insert_comment() function. It's for a plugin I'm trying to make. I have this code in my header for testing. It works every time I refresh the page. $agent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; $data = array( 'comment_post_ID' => 256, 'comment_author' => 'Dave', 'comment_author_email' => '[email protected]', 'comment_author_url' => 'http://www.someiste.com', 'comment_content' => 'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet...', 'comment_author_IP' => '127.3.1.1', 'comment_agent' => $agent, 'comment_date' => date('Y-m-d H:i:s'), 'comment_date_gmt' => date('Y-m-d H:i:s'), 'comment_approved' => 1, ); $comment_id = wp_insert_comment($data); It successfully inserts comments into the database. The problem: Comments don't show via the Disqus comment system. I compared table rows and I noticed that user_agent differs. Normal comments use for example, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv... and Disqus comments use Disqus/1.1(2.61):119598902 numbers are different for each comment. Does anyone know how to insert comments with wp_insert_comment() when Disqus is enabled?

• IE "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object expected"

  Hi there, I have problems with regards to javascript only when using IE. The error I am getting is "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object expected" and I have no idea why. It is then jumping into the JQuery 1.4.2 file, without giving me a proper error message. All I am doing is simply reading on page load the raw URL, and getting a query string named Search. Using that in an AJAX call to return products and put then into a DIV. No biggies, but somehow IE is managing to blow my page up :-( Any ideas? • Trouble with building up a string in Clojure

  Hi gang - [this may seem like my problem is with Compojure, but it isn't - it's with Clojure] I've been pulling my hair out on this seemingly simple issue - but am getting nowhere. I am playing with Compojure (a light web framework for Clojure) and I would just like to generate a web page showing showing my list of todos that are in a PostgreSQL database. The code snippets are below (left out the database connection, query, etc - but that part isn't needed because specific issue is that the resulting HTML shows nothing between the <body> and </body> tags). As a test, I tried hard-coding the string in the call to main-layout, like this: (html (main-layout "Aki's Todos" "Haircut<br>Study Clojure<br>Answer a question on Stackoverfolw")) - and it works fine. So the real issue is that I do not believe I know how to build up a string in Clojure. Not the idiomatic way, and not by calling out to Java's StringBuilder either - as I have attempted to do in the code below. A virtual beer, and a big upvote to whoever can solve it! • Paging not working in my wordpress installation

  I recently started a blog site and wanted to give it a magazine look. I used Wordpress for my blog and used the Arthemia theme with it. I also changed the permalink structure to point to /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ structure. Now the problem that i have is that the paging has stopped working on my home page. When i click on the next page link i get a 404 error. My /page/2 url does not show the next page. I check on google and found out that it was due to the redirection that is being performed due to the permalink change. The solution given was that i need to skip the url rewriting for the /page/* urls. This is the link to an article which said this http://www.yoursearchadvisor.com/blog/wordpress-next_posts_link-broken/ . I was not able to follow this article and solve my problem, as i could not find the permanent redirect manager under the settings section as said in this article. Can somebody please guide me how to solve this problem. I am using the latest Wordpress version and Arthemia theme with it. Thanks.

• Where to prompt for required file location at start of Win Forms application

  I have an application that uses a file to store its data. I store the location of the file in the app settings so have two tests at startup: Do I have a setting for the file and Does the file (if I have a setting) exist If I fail either test I want to prompt the user for the file location - the mechanics of the are not the problem, I can read and write the app settings, fire off dialogs and otherwise request the data. If the user refuses to choose a file (or at least a file location) I want to exit the app. My problem is where to do this i.e. at what point in the flow of code. In an ideal world you start the app, show a splash screen, load the main form and run from there... I'm looking for a general pattern that allows me to slot the test for parameters into the right place so that I can prompt the user for whatever (and allowing that I have to worry about the fact that my splash screen is currently topmost for my app). I appreciate that this is a bit vague so will update this with code as we go along.

• JSF: Showing/Calling a dialog programatically

  has anybody an idea to show/call a dialog programatically and add this to stage(actual browser window) ?! I am running in circles and cannot find a solution :/ More background what I want to do: I want to trigger a database update every 2 hours. This I have done with a TimerTask... This works fine for me, the Timertask gets all the data I want from the database... Before this TimerTask is triggered I want to "lock" the screen for some seconds that no user(session scoped) can access the database(this I also know how this will work) ... My problem is that I don't know/ cannot find a way/ i am to stupid to call a dialog programatically ... Any tips, hints would be very cool :) Thanks a lot ! I know I could do it with the following SQL (for the names): SELECT FirstName, LastName FROM student, courseenrolement WHERE courseenrolement.studentID = student.studentID But I am unsure how to get this to work using HTML/PHP. • Ruby On Rails with HTML5 offline apps - Firefox does not cache the application.manifest but Safari does

  I'm working off of this Railscast tutorial: episode 247 I’m up to this point in the tutorial: added the rack-offline gem, added the application.manifest route, and added a reference to the manifest in the html tag. Right before it starts talking about problems with caching. Safari works as intended – When the server is running the page is served. From the server logs I can see that Safari is making a single request to the server every time for the items page. When I turn off the server the page displays as well, even after shutting down the browser and restarting. It appears to be pulling from the application.manifest (cache manifest). Firefox does not work as intended – When accessing the page for the first time, Firefox lets me know that the web page wants to store something locally, I allow. After clicking on allow, Firefox makes 5 requests to the server for the page (from the server log). The hash is different in every request. Is it is possible that the changing hash is triggering Firefox to keep trying to get the new manifest until it reaches some maximum (5 attempts)? Then, after the server is stopped, Firefox will not show the page at all. It looks like it isn’t caching the application.manifest. Firefox also gives you a way to see what sites are storing stuff locally by going to Tools/Options/Advanced/Network (Firefox/Preferences/Advanced/Network on Apple). I see localhost there but the size is 0 bytes. So for some reason, Firefox is not downloading my application.manifest along with the files

  First of all, do not be overwhelmed by the long code, I just put it for reference...I have a function that preg_replaces content and puts it in a jquery dialog box with a matching open-link. For example, if there is a paragraph with two matches, they will be put inside two divs, and a jquery dialog function will be echoed twice; one for each div. While this works for one match, if there are multiple matches, it does not. I am not sure how to distribute unique ids at a point in time for each of the divs and matching dialog open-scripts. Keep in mind, I removed the preg replace function since it kind of complicates the problem.   I am trying to use the ternary operator, but I am getting hung up on the type it thinks the result should be. Why does it need to convert at all? If it is null then use that, if it is a date time then use that. I was under the impression that: condition ? first_expression : second_expression; was the same as: if (condition) first_expression; else second_expression; Clearly this is not the case. What is the reasoning behind this? (NOTE: I know that if I make "myDateTime" a nullable DateTime then it will work. But why does it need it? As I stated earlier this is a contrived example. In my real example "myDateTime" is a data mapped value that cannot be made nullable.)

I need HTML in my image title in Slimbox. So, of course, when you're hovering, the "Title" attribute shows all the HTML code. The code works perfectly when you're viewing the image in Slimbox so no problems there. I just need the Title attribute to be hidden/modified not to show this HTML code. I tried to change Q.title in slimbox.js to something else (like captionname). Then changed the HTML to call for: <a href="images/team/large.jpg" title="Joe Smith" captionname="URL" rel="lightbox-team"><img src="images/team/small.jpg" class ="headline" border="1" hspace="2" /></a> "Joe Smith" displays as the Title but when you view the image in Slimbox, captionname does not come up at all and neither does the Title. It's just blank where it should be. What do I need to modify in slimbox2.js to make this work?

• Passing NULL value

  Hi. I use an instance of NSXMLParser. I store found chars in NSMutableStrings that are stored in an NSMutableDictionary and these Dicts are then added to an NSMutableArray. When I test this everything seems normal: I count 1 array, x dictionnaries and x strings. In a detailview controller file I want to show my parsed results. I call the class where everthing is stored but I get (null) returned.   I see a lot of the word 'expressiveness' when people want to stress one language is better than the other. But I don't see exactly what they mean by it. Is it the verboseness/succinctness? I mean, if one language can write down something shorter than the other, does that mean expressiveness? Paul Graham says that one language is more powerful than the other language in a sense that one language can do that the other language can't do (for example, LISP can do something with macro that the other language can't do). What do you think about the expressiveness of a programming lanuage? Can you show the expressiveness using some code? What's the relationship with the expressiveness and DSL? Do people come up with DSL to get the expressiveness?

• Facebook SSO authorize in safari but not in facebook app

  My problem: I has developed an app with Facebook SSO in my iPhone/iPad. It was working OK. But I have changed the certificate of my app (so now it has new app ID). I also have changed the "iOS pack ID" property in Facebook: I deleted the old app ID and I added the new one. But now my app doesn't do the Facebook SSO when Facebook app is installed. It does it OK when Facebook app is not installed and it uses Safari. I have read this question and this question that say the problem is the "iOS pack ID" and app ID don't match. I have checked it a lot of times, and it is the same. I have put the old app ID in the "iOS pack ID" property of Facebook, but it still doesn't work. I don't know if Facebook take a time to check if my app ID is valid, and how they show the result. I have been a lot of time with this issue. It seem like the problem is the iOS pack ID is not exactly the app ID, but it is not the problem: they are exactly the same. Thank you very much.

  Hi all, I'm sure this is really simple, but I can't seem to get it working. I have a "time" select list, which has a number as "rel" attached to each option. If the user changes the time select, I want a new list of options to display depending on what is selected. If that makes sense? Here's my first select: <select name="time" id="time"> <option value="7:00am" rel="10">7:00am</option> <option value="12:30pm" rel="16">12:30pm</option> </select> If the user selects 7:00am, I want a new option list (using jquery) to give options from 1 - 10. • Twitter bootstrap modal loads wrong remote data

  I'm using Twitter Bootstrap modal featurs and loading data from remote locations. I'm providing the remote url for a set of thumbnails with the hope that once the thumbnail is clicked, the appropriate data (a large version of the image) is displayed. I'm using the html declarative style to define the remote urls and all the features of the modal. What I find is that Twitter bootstrap modal loads first remote url then does not display subsequent remote data, (although a request to the proper url is made in Chrome) but displays first loaded data always. How do I get it to show the proper data? • How to start/stop/restart jQuery animation

  I have the following function that when I call displays a message to the user for a certain amount of time (5 secs in my case). During this "period" if I call the function again to display another message, practically it should hide, then re-appear with the new message for another 5 seconds. What happens with my code below, I call the function to display the message. Then, lets say on the 4th second, I call it again to display another message, the new message is displayed for 1 second. I need to somehow -reset- the time but can't figure out how. Tried stopping the animation, checking if the element was visible and hiding it if it was, and many other things. I believe the solution is a simple chaining issue but can't get it right.
