    MY Remote desktop was working when i had no security or authentication enabled un ubuntu. I go to preferences then remote desktop and then uncheck all checkboxes in security tab. I tried enabling password and now i can connect to server. I don't have access to server. is there any way to clear the security setting via terminal

  • Rsyslog : copy with change the facility

    I have saslauthd with save the logs in LOG_AUTH in our rsyslogd server. It can't be changed without recompiling, and I don't want to do that. I would like to see all the LOG_AUTH in LOG_MAIL, because I do an export to an external machine, and I would like to see all the saslauthd logs in LOG_MAIL in the distant server. Of course, in local I can add "auth.* " in the mail.log file section, but the export will not be in the right file because I filter in export by syslog Facility/Priority. How can I export all the AUTH logs into MAIL logs ? Thanks

    I have some modifications I want to make WITHOUT installing extensions. eg: max width of tab and height of menu, In previous versions you could have it done via: about:config ->browser.tabs.tab.maxWidth Since FF4 it should be done with CSS. Now I searched the default theme: C:\Users\wetcat\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\feriz.default and C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox In the second I could find the extension - theme but without any CSS. In the AppData I couldn't find any CSS or theme folder. WHERE is the file to create or alter the CSS?? I'm using Firefox 11.

  • Change notification in CouchDB when a field is set

    Hi, I'm trying to get notifications in a CouchDB change poll as soon as pre-defined field is set or changed. I've already had a look at filters that can be used for filtering change events(db/_changes?filter=myfilter). However, I've not yet found a way to include this temporal information, because you can only get the current version of the document in this filter functions. Is there any possibility to create such a filter? If it does not work, I could export my field to a separate database and the only poll for changes in that db, but I'd prefer to keep together my data for obvious reasons. Thanks in advance!

However, after deleting the account, I am not able to configure again, and it keep on repeating same problem: invalid email account. I have changed the password, and also did unlocking of captsha many times, but it just dont connect with blackberry account. Can I get some advise?

    I have a xen server with xen-4.1.3, linux-image-3.2.0-3-amd64, debian squeeze and 16Gb of RAM. The domain-0 has 1Gb of ram, the rest of memory belongs to the hypervisor. I want to start a guest domain with a minimal amount of memory and increase it runtime later. When I start a guest domain with 256Mb of ram and run xm mem-set domu 4Gb, I get ~3Gb only in domu and a guest domain free says: root@test:~# free total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 2830620 72868 2757752 0 2432 43504 -/+ buffers/cache: 26932 2803688 Swap: 1048572 0 1048572 And a guest domain dmesg says: [ 0.000000] Memory: 175912k/2883584k available (3527k kernel code, 448k absent, 2707224k reserved, 3210k data, 612k init) When I start a guest domain with 2Gb of ram I can run xm mem-set domu 7Gb and get ~7Gb of ram in a guest domain: root@test:~# free total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 6828228 74944 6753284 0 1328 12568 -/+ buffers/cache: 61048 6767180 Swap: 1048572 0 1048572 And a guest domain dmesg: [ 0.000000] Memory: 1674960k/16651264k available (3527k kernel code, 448k absent, 14975856k reserved, 3210k data, 612k init) How can I start a guest domain with a minimal amount of ram (256Mb) and increase it under 15Gb?

  • UITextView refuses to change its color

    Hello, in some cases things you'd expect to solve within a sec turn out to become a lifetime adventure. This is one of these cases :) All I wanted to do, is simply change the text color of one of my UITextViews. So far I tried: UIColor *myColor = [UIColor colorWithHue:38 saturation:98 brightness:100 alpha:1.0]; [myTextView setTextColor:myColor]; OR UIColor *myColor = [UIColor colorWithPatternImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"colorImage.png"]]; [myTextView setTextColor:myColor]; Both seem to work fine for UILabels, but fail for UITextView elements. When I try [UIColor colorWithHue... I only get a reddish kinda color, no matter what values I choose (except values for black and white. They work). The colorWithPatternImage does not change textColor at all. Strange isn't it? I obviously must be missing something. Help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello, i need some help with a menu. See the following menu: menu The code for this menu: <div id="menu"> <ul> <li class="home"><a href="#home" class="panel">home / <span class="go">you are here</span></a></li> <li class="about"><a href="#about" class="panel">about / <span class="go">go here</span></a></li> <li class="cases"><a href="#cases" class="panel">cases / <span class="go">go there</span></a></li> <li class="photos"><a href="#photos" class="panel">photos / <span class="go">maybe here</span></a></li> <li class="contact"><a href="#contact" class="panel">contact / <span class="go">or even here<span></span></a></li> </ul> </div> What i want to do: onclick a menu item: 1. change the red text to yellow 'you are here' 2. change the previous menu item back to its original state (eg red and "go here"). The 4 values "go here", "go there", "maybe here", "or even here" are the 4 values that should be assigned to the other menu items (like the example).   • Can i change the subnet on the vpn side of a server without having to change its whole lan (to avoid collission)

    Ohai, ive got a xp server with a client connecting via VPN. Problem (as we all know) is that sometimes the subnets clash. Instead of changing the whole server network every time this happens, cant i just have the server appear to have a different subnet to vpn clients? I have no interest in accessing other computers than the server on its LAN. I tried just turning off automatic dhcp in the servers vpn settings and changed it to 172.31.255.x. The client gets the address assigned alright and it can ping 172.31.255.1 but i cannot ping the server name (because the dns on the clients vpn connection points at 192.168.0.1?) wisdom? PS everything worked until the client hit a network with the same subnet as the server lan. thanks

    My server was just reprovisioned, and my application which uploads large (100M+) files now breaks upon re-installation. the symptom is quite consistent : smaller files (8mb in my tests) upload just fine. Larger files cut off at quite close to the same point every time given a particular computer. a file that fails at 26% will fail at just about the same every time. One that takes 1:40s to fail will take within 2 seconds of that every time, before failure. I have set my php.ini settings extravagently : post_max_size = 512M upload_max_filesize = 512M max_input_time = 3600 max_execution_time 3600 Is there possibly a setting at the Apache Level which would override PHP?

If I copy and paste the links individually into separate tabs, it creates new processes, but when I just middle click links, it groups them into one. I want to force Chrome to create a new process for every tab because when one page locks up, it freezes pretty much all the tabs I have open and if one of the tabs crashes, it takes the rest with it. You can apparently alter Chrome's process model to one called "--process-per-tab" which seems to be what I'm looking for, but when I try and open Chrome with this argument via the terminal, it doesn't work. It's likely I'm not using the correct command; what I tried was: /Applications/"Google Chrome.app"/Contents/MacOS/"Google Chrome" --process-per-tab I'm on OSX and using the latest dev build 5.0.396.0.

  • iso9660 filesystem when remade with a slight change blows its size by 100M

    I have an iso 9660 filesystem image in which I need to edit just one file. I copied the files using cp -avf. When the files reach the destination, the sizes increase. That must be due to the increase in block size. But when I remake the iso9660 filesystem using mkisofs -J -U -r the sizes of the files remain the same and just a small editing in a file leads to a blow up of about 100M in the newly created iso image. I think I'm missing some option there, but I'm not able to find out in the manpage and google search. Some quick help would be greatly appreciated as I'm stuck. My host filesystem is ext3..if that's required.

    I would like to change the value of a textarea when hovering over a link. I am not very proficient at javascript and do not quite understand the intricacies of 'this.' and 'document.' etc.. Currently I have a textarea 'info' that on page load is unpopulated and two links that should change its value. I can not seem to get it to work.. <textarea name="info"></textarea> <a href="foo.com" onmouseover="document.info.value='foo.com is a great site'">Foo.com</a> <a href="bar.com" onmouseover="document.info.value='bar.com is a terrible site'">Bar.com</a> I'm sure there is a way to accomplish what I need to do but I can't find it.     I currently have the Buttons on other taskbars set so Never combine So I can have multiple Chrome windows open and will see multiple Chromes on the taskbar. Now the problem is that sometimes I don't really know which one I'm currently looking at. Is there a way to have the active application take on a different color or some other indication that it's the active window. To clarify I don't need the title bar of the application to be a different color, just the "button" that shows up on the taskbar This is for windows 8
