  • Printing Work Items in TFS

    Hi, I am looking for a fancy way the print individual work items in TFS. OK ... maybe not the work item directly but I need to produce printable forms based on data on a work item. And by fancy I mean: header, footer, formatting, tables maybe ... stuff like that. No, I am not trying to print a list of work items, read carefully, I need an output based on a single work item. For those who are wondering "Why on earth do you need that?" I should say: We are keeping everything on TFS around here. (For now only software development stuff, but I am thinking bigger...) Sometimes somethings need to be on hard copy, to be signed for instance, and that is why I need printable forms.

    I have billing application based on C# WPF, Screenshot is here. as you can see there is a datagrid, programmatically binded. this datagrid contains lists of item going to be billed. So when user reaches "Print memo" part (in stack panel 2) i have to update listed items in stock table and insert entries in sales table and finally print the memo. I want to know is there any speedy way to so because as user gives print command I have to clear datagrid which holds product lists and start accepting new lists. if you could provide few code or link, will be really helpful.. thanks.........

  • Printing the "source" class in a log statement with a log4j wrapper

    My application has a homebrew logging class that I'm migrating to using log4j under the covers. However, since I'm using the homebrew class to pass the rest of the application's logging statements to log4j, the output statements are logged as coming from the wrapper class instead of the source class. Is there a way to ensure that the "correct" source is being shown besides creating new org.apache.log4j.Logger instances for every log statement?     If I do the following in Objective-C: NSString *result = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%1.1f", -0.01]; It will give result @"-0.0" Does anybody know how I can force a result @"0.0" (without the "-") in this case? EDIT: I tried using NSNumberFormatter, but it has the same issue.     I have richTextBox1, and here is the contents: line one from my textbox is this, and i want this to be normal, arial, 8 point non-bold font line two, i want everything after the | to be bolded... | this is bold line three: everything in brackets i (want) to be the color (Red) line 4 is "this line is going to be /slanted/ or with italics and so on, basically if I know how to do what I mentioned above, I'll know everything I need to know to complete my project.     I am using Mail.app in OS X 10.7. In a text file I have a list with 500 different email addresses, extracted from my address book, each one in a different line. I would like to send some christmas. So I prepared a text template and I would like to send same text in an email to each recipient, just to each one. So I wonder if using some scripting this could be done in a non-interactive way in OS X. In Linux I think this could be done using "mutt".

    I'm trying to make sure that my Managed to Unmanaged calls are optimized. Is there a quick way to see by looking at the IL if any non-blittable types have accidentally gotten into my pinvoke calls? I tried just writing two unmanaged functions in a .dll, one that uses bool (which is non-blittable) and one that uses ints. But I didn't see anything different when looking at the IL to let me know that it was doing something extra to marshal the bool.
