  • In HAML on Ruby on Rails, how to use the :sass filter?

    - by Jian Lin
If using HAML on Ruby on Rails, then :sass #someDiv border: 3px dashed orange won't have any <style> tag around them. and then :css :sass #someDiv border: 3px dashed orange won't kick on the :sass filter, but :css :sass #someDiv border: 3px dashed orange will kick on the :sass filter, but it is outside of the <style> tag. So how can the :sass filter be used?

  • Re-Add tabBarController's view into window and the device is in landscape mode

    - by user285553
Hello, I have an app that is a tabBarController based app. I have 4 tabs on it and one of these is for logging in/out in my app. The main ideea is that when I logout, I release the tabBarController (this will release the all 4 view controllers too - I have done this becuse I want to refersh all the views after logging out to look just like the first time). After this, I alloc it again and add the view controllers aagin, set the tabBarItem's titles, etc. This work ok. The problem is when I am in landscape mode;my logout view is painted to fit the landscape area, but after disconnect(now I releasse and alloc again the tabbarController) the view is painted in portrait mode but my device is in lanscape. After disconnected, I call the releaseOldTabView and the createNewTabView. After this tabBarController is in portrait insead of landscape. -(void)releaseOldTabView:(BOOL)tabViewEnabled{ if(tabViewEnabled){ [tabBarController.view removeFromSuperview]; [tabBarController release]; } } -(void)createNewTabView{ tabBarController = [[UITabBarController alloc] init]; NSMutableArray *oneArray = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; tabBarController.delegate = self; LoginViewController *login= [[LoginViewController2 alloc] initWithNibName:@"LoginViewController" bundle:nil]; SecondViewController *secondController = [[SecondViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"SecondViewController" bundle:nil]; ThirdViewController *thirdController = [[ThirdViewController alloc] init]; FourthViewController *fourthController = [[FourthViewController alloc] init]; login.tabBarItem = [[UITabBarItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Login" image:[UIImage imageNamed:@"connect.png"] tag:0]; secondController.tabBarItem = [[UITabBarItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"TabBar2" image:[UIImage imageNamed:@"tabBar2.png"] tag:1]; thirdController.tabBarItem = [[UITabBarItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"TabBar3" image:[UIImage imageNamed:@"tabBar3.png"] tag:2]; fourthController.tabBarItem = [[UITabBarItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"TabBar4" image:[UIImage imageNamed:@"tabBar4.png"] tag:3]; [oneArray addObject:login]; [oneArray addObject:secondController]; [oneArray addObject:thirdController]; [oneArray addObject:fourthController]; [tabBarController setViewControllers:oneArray]; //[tabBarController.view convertRect:tabBarController.view.frame toView:window]; [window addSubview:tabBarController.view]; [oneArray release]; [login release]; [secondController release]; [thirdController release]; [fourthController release]; } After calling this method, the tabbar view is in portrait, but statusBar(the top bar which says the carrier name) is painted normally(landscape). I also tried the [tabBarController.view convertRect:tabBarController.view.frame toView:window]; but without any succes. Can anyone give a hand of help? Thanks in advance, Alex.

  • Visual Studio highlighting source code in bold

    - by widgisoft
While editing HTML/ASPX/ASCX etc; whenever I select an html tag, visual studio highlights the entire tag in black and bold; the black I'm not so fussed about but the bold changes the length of the line and really messes up the formatting. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, Chris

  • TabBar / "More View Controller" - Possible to have icons in colors other than black?

    - by Malakim
Hi, Is it possible to have the icons in a TabBar and / or the "More navigation controller" be in colors other than grey and black? I tried changing the color of the icon I set for the view controller using UITabBarItem's - (id)initWithTitle:(NSString *)title image:(UIImage *)image tag:(NSInteger)tag method. My client thinks the interface is too dark and want's to brighten it up with some colorful icons... Thanks!

  • Render {embed} for each entry in {exp:weblog:entries} loop

    - by eyelidlessness
{exp:weblog:entries [args]} [content] {embed="path/to/sub-template" [args]} {/exp:weblog:entries} The sub-template only renders for the first entry, and the {embed} template tag is swallowed for all subsequent entries. Is there a way to make it render the sub-template for each iteration? Edit: stranger yet, if caching is enabled for the sub-template, it renders for each iteration—but, of course, the arguments on the embed tag aren't passed to subsequent iterations, as the sub-template is cached.

  • How to make System command calls in Java/Groovy?

    - by Zombies
What I want to do is invoke maven from a groovy script. The groovy script in question is used as a maven wrapper to build J2EE projects by downloading a tag and invoking maven on what was downloaded. How should I accomplish invoking maven to build/package the EAR (the groovy script is already capable of downloading the tag from SCM).

  • Problem with JQuery swapImage();

    - by VUELA
Hello!~ On my articles page (http://www.adrtimes.squarespace.com/articles) I have each entry start with an image that changes on rollover. This is working fine. However, on my homepage (http://www.adrtimes.squarespace.com), I am loading in the 2 most recent articles that are not categorized as video, and the 2 most recent articles that are tagged as video. I am using jQuery load() to pull in the content from the articles page. Everything works ok with that except the swapImage rollovers on the homepage. i tried including the swapImage function as callbacks but only one group or the other will rollover properly, not both groups of content. I'm not sure what the problem is!! Here is the code: <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- $(function(){ $.swapImage(".swapImage"); /* Homepage */ // load recent articles $("#LoadRecentArticles").load("/articles/ .list-journal-entry-wrapper .journal-entry-wrapper:not(.category-video)", function(){ //callback... $("#LoadRecentArticles .journal-entry-wrapper").wrapAll('<div class="list-journal-entry-wrapper" />'); $("#LoadRecentArticles .journal-entry-wrapper:gt(1)").remove(); // modify Read More tag $('.journal-read-more-tag a:contains(Click to read more ...)').each(function(){ var str = $(this).html(); $(this).html(str.replace('Click to read more ...','Continue reading—')); }); $.swapImage(".swapImage"); }); // load recent videos $("#LoadRecentVideos").load("/articles/category/video .list-journal-entry-wrapper", function(){ //callback... $("#LoadRecentVideos .journal-entry-wrapper:gt(1)").remove(); $('<div class="VideoTag">—video</div>').insertBefore("#LoadRecentVideos .category-video .body img"); // modify Read More tag $('.journal-read-more-tag a:contains(Click to read more ...)').each(function(){ var str = $(this).html(); $(this).html(str.replace('Click to read more ...','Continue reading—')); }); $.swapImage(".swapImage"); }); }); --> </script> And here is a sample of the html for the images in an article entry: <a href="/articles/2010/5/6/article-title-goes-here.html"><img class="swapImage {src: '/storage/post-images/Sample2_color.jpg'}" src="/storage/post-images/Sample2_bw.jpg" /></a>

  • How can unwanted tags be removed from HTML using Nokogiri?

    - by sutch
I need to strip out all font tags from a document. When attempting to do so with the following Ruby code, other elements and text within the font tags are lost. I've also attempted to iterate through all children elements and make them siblings of the font tag before unlinking the font tag--which also results in lost HTML. What is a good method for removing tags which can contain other elements and/or text? doc.css('font').each do |element| element.unlink end

  • CVS list of files only in working directories

    - by Joshua Berry
Is it possible to get a list of files that are in the working directory tree, but not in the current branch/tag? I currently diff the working copy with another directory updated to the same module and tag/branch but without the local non-repo files. It works, but doesn't honor the .cvsignore files. I figure there must be an option using a variation of 'cvs diff'. Thanks in advance.

  • Android App Crashes On Second Run

    - by user1091286
My app runs fine on first run. On the Menu I added two choices options and quit. options which set up a new intent who goes to a PreferenceActivity and quit which simply call: "android.os.Process.killProcess(android.os.Process.myPid());" On the second time I run my app (after I quit from inside the emulator) it crashes.. Ideas? the menu is called by the foolowing code: @Override public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) { getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.menu , menu); return true; } - @Override public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) { // Set up a new intent between the updater service and the main screen Intent options = new Intent(this, OptionsScreenActivity.class); // Switch case on the options switch (item.getItemId()) { case R.id.options: startActivity(options); return true; case R.id.quit: android.os.Process.killProcess(android.os.Process.myPid()); return true; • How to dynamically change the content of a facet in a custom component?

    - by romaintaz
Hello, Let's consider that I want to extend an existing JSF component, such as the <rich:datatable/>. My main requirement is to dynamically modify the content of a <f:facet>, to change its content. What is the best way to achieve that? Or where is the best place in the code to achieve that? In my faces-config.xml, I have the following declaration: <faces-config> ... <component> <component-type>my.component.dataTable</component-type> <component-class>my.project.component.table.MyHtmlDataTable</component-class> </component> ... <render-kit> <render-kit-id>HTML_BASIC</render-kit-id> <renderer> <component-family>org.richfaces.DataTable</component-family> <renderer-type>my.renderkit.dataTable</renderer-type> <renderer-class>my.project.component.table.MyDataTableRenderer</renderer-class> </renderer> ... Also, my my-project.taglib.xml file (as I use Facelets) looks like: <facelet-taglib> <namespace>http://my.project/jsf</namespace> <tag> <tag-name>dataTable</tag-name> <component> <component-type>my.component.dataTable</component-type> <renderer-type>my.renderkit.dataTable</renderer-type> </component> </tag> So as you can see, I have two classes in my project for my custom datatable: MyHtmlDataTable and MyDataTableRenderer. One of my idea is to modify the content of the <f:facet> directly in the doEncodeBegin() method of my renderer. This is working (in fact almost working), but I don't really think that's the better place to achieve my modification. What do you think? Technical information: JSF 1.2, Facelets, Richfaces 3.3.2, Java 1.6

  • Is it good to add line-height in body?

    - by metal-gear-solid
Is it good to add line-height in body{line-height:1.5} or it would be better if i add separately for tag by tag like p{ line height:1em} etc. Edit: body {line-height:in em} create problem with if we put image with float inside Edit: 24 April 2010: If i have to add different line heights to elements like p { 1.4} h1 {1.6} h2 { 1.2} ul li { 1.1} then shouldn't i use line height in body { 1.4} if body { 1.4} and h1 {1.6} then what would be line height for h1?

  • Where can I find a library that parses source code and is able to extract the scope of where your cursor is currently in the code?

    - by Anthony
In SublimeText(2), when you press [ctrl + shift + p] (mac osx) you are shown a scope of where your caret/cursor is in the source code at the given moment e.g.: entity.name.tag.inline.any.html meta.tag.inline.any.html text.html.basic I am curious about what library or script is used to parse the document/file and create that scope string. A sidenote: Typing view.syntax_name(view.sel()[0].b) into Sublime's console will output the scope as well.
