• XCode source code print issue

  Hello everyone, I am using MacBook Pro Mac OS 10.5 with related version of XCode. I am new to this development environment. I am developing C++ console/terminal applications (File-New project, then from the list on the left "Command line utility", and on the right "C++ tool".). For C++ source code file, I want to print source file content with line number. Any ideas how to do this? thanks in advance, George

When the user enters some text in that, i need to compare that text to the XML file from where all the data are being recieved, and should list out all the advertisements in the Table View (next page)..   Hi I'm working on a project where I have code like the following: #define NAME() Array inline NAME()* NAME()_init (void* arg0){return (NAME()*)Object_init(arg0);} But I get the following result: inline Array* Array _init (void* arg0){return (Array*)Object_init(arg0);} With a space between the "Array" and the "_init" Because this is a function name, I obviously do not want the space. Does anyone know how to get the space out? Thanks.

  XCode 3.2.3 Beta does not allow building for below 3.2. I opened a project that was made in an earlier XCode. For some reason, the base SDK is reported as missing even after changing it to 4.0. Other projects from earlier XCode do not have this issue. What can I do?

  Is there a way to force QtCreator to recompile all the resources (images / qss files) i have specified in my qrc file every time i build the project? Currently if i change some styles in my qss file but dont remove the file and re-add it to the qrc file the old version of my qss file is used. Thanks.

  Is it possible, from within ASP.NET MVC, to route to different controllers or actions based on the accessing device/browser? I'm thinking of setting up alternative actions and views for some parts of my website in case it is accessed from the iPhone, to optimize display and functionality of it.   Can anyone recommend decent software that could replace a physical whiteboard, as used in Agile development? I've had a look at http://www.brightgreenprojects.com/ but ideally we'd like something we could host ourselves. We use Jira for issue tracking, and are looking at integrating GreenHopper for project management at the moment. The general feeling among users so far seems to be that GreenHopper is a little clunky. Is there a more straight-forward agile whiteboard software tool out there?

• Should I merge .pbxproj files with git using merge=union?

  I'm wondering whether the merge=union option in .gitattributes makes sense for .pbxproj files. The manpage states for this option: Run 3-way file level merge for text files, but take lines from both versions, instead of leaving conflict markers. This tends to leave the added lines in the resulting file in random order and the user should verify the result. Normally, this should be fine for the 90% case of adding files to the project. Does anybody have experience with this?

  I have imported a GWT project from GIT , but when i run maven Install it says .m2\repository\commons-logging\commons-logging\1.1\commons-logging-1.1.jar; cannot read zip file entry and if i simply run my application , i get this \git\my-Search-Engine\qsse\war}: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/servlet/GuiceServletContextListener I tried to find out the way , one solution i found was to move the guice-servlet-3.0 from build path to \qsse\war\webinf\lib but if i do that i start gettin the exception ava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/Injector any idea how can i resolve this

  Hi I have a site that uses flex and calls controller actions which returns json to the flex. This works fine in a dev server , the folder that has the flex app lives inside the web project and in the dev ennvironment, makes calls hostname, ie www.someurl.com in the actual live scenario, this will be an intranet so not hostname to call, the flex app seems to have trouble calling http://localhost/Virtual directory name it seems to totally miss the virtual directory name. I am obviously missing something basic, any help?
