    Would anyone have any pointers on getting PNG images to display in Emacs 23 under Win32?.. I have installed the gnuwin32 set of utilities, including libpng and zlib; C:\Program Files\GnuWin32\bin is in path. JPG files started working but not PNGs. I'd appreciate any hints on getting this to work.

  • How to ensure that uploaded file is video or picture?

    Hello, I want to be sure that user uploaded files are real videos or pictures, but not just a piece of text renamed to textfile.jpg. What are the ways to ensure? I see the only way: detect type of file by it's extension and then, depending on file type, try to get information about it (by Imagemagick or ffmpeg). Is there any other ways? Thank you.

The paths are correct, it works by getting the folder name in the URL, it does work, but nothing works for the thumbnails folder. BEFORE you ask this related question, yes, thumbnails generation does work on my server by the PHP GD, I have tested it separately. So this is not the problem. :) How do I get this to work? :(

  • jquery 1.4.1 breaks my slideshow

    After toying with the jquery slideshow extension, I created my own that better suited my purposes ( I didn't like that all the images needed to load at the beginning for instance). Now, upon upgrading to jQuery 1.4.2 (I know I'm late), the slideshow loads the first image fine ( from the line$('div#slideshow img#ssone').fadeIn(1500); towards the bottom), but doesn't do anything beyond that.     I tried on Flex 3, facing issue with uploading JPG/PNG image, trace readUTFBytes would return correct bytes length but tmpFileContent is trucated, it would only appear to have upload just 3 characters of data to the server through PHP script which made image unusable. I have no issue for non-images format. What is wrong here? var tmpFileContent:String = fileRef.data.readUTFBytes(fileRef.data.length); Is String capable of handle bytes?

    How do I go about getting the isapi_rewrite working on IIS 6.0? My shared hosting account supports ISAPI_Rewrite - I've run the provided tests to confirm. I'm only able to access the index page of my Zend PHP project, but get the 404 error for other actions in my index controller class definition. I've basically placed the code: [ISAPI_Rewrite] RepeatLimit 20 RewriteRule (?!\.(js|ico|gif|jpg|png|css|swf))$ index.php in an httpd.ini access file in my wwwroot directory. Is there anything I'm missing?

    Is there a way to prevent the user from selecting a file that is not a specified file type when they browser for the file on their computer? For example, when a user browseses to upload an image file I would for them to only see images (jpg, png, ect.) that are less than 20mb. Is this something that can be accomplished with asp.net mvc and jquery or do I need to use flash or a java applet?
