  • Javascript popup different size in different browsers?

    How come this pop-up gets a size other than what I have specified, when testing it in IE6 and FireFox 3.6? Firefox displays it correctly but IE6 is smaller for some reason.   • iPhone SDK: how to switch from a login screen to a navigation interface?

    I am beginning in iPhone development and have followed a few tutorials, but please indicate me if I'm going in the wrong direction. I have implemented my own UInViewController and a login screen view (with its xib). What I would like to do is that after clicking on the login button, it displays the RootViewController.xib, which includes the Xcode's default navigation application template. Is that possible? How?     My site has an iFrame that displays content from and second site. I don't control the second site. When a user clicks on a link in the iFrame, I want it to redirect the entire page, not just the iFrame. I've seen solutions for doing this from the iFrame, but I need to do it solely from the parent. I'd prefer to do it in the code behind, but a javascript solution would be acceptable.

    Hi I was just wondering if its possible to do an ajax post a file in asp.net mvc, basically i have a form with two buttons, one of the buttons extracts images for the selected document and displays them for the user to choose thumbnails for the document he is about to upload. The usee then fills out the rest of the form and then saves the document. With the image extraction, I was owndering if it was possible to do that as an ajax post.     I have a dynamic php website which index only has around 800 errors according to the w3 validator online. I have tried checking major websites like ebay, stackoverflow and others also, all with around 400 errors. So my first thought is, what good is that validator when it always displays errors? Secondly, will the errors affect my SERP ranking? ie, will me fixing these errors as good as I can increase my Google search position? Thanks

When I try to click for second time an error displays: $.fn.colorbox is not a function. How can i correct that error and avoid a double click to bind colorbox.     I'd like to display a little popup window next to the notification area. It's similar to what Outlook/Skype/Live! Messenger/etc does when it displays the notification about a new message. In my case it will have some input controls (textbox, datetimepicker, buttons...) so a simple bubble won't do. The trick is doing this correctly when the user has multiple monitors and/or the taskbar is not located at the bottom of the screen.

    im making an image button like this: <input type="image" src="red.jpeg" width="150px"> but it is displaying the original image size which is much larger, if i put: <img src="red.jpeg" width="150px"> it displays the image 150px wide as i want, what do you guys think is the problem with this? I have tried styling it with a class and CSS but not working either, please help me with this, im going nuts!!

    Using the autocomplete field for a cck nodereference always displays the node id as a cryptic bracketed extension: Page Title [nid:23] I understand that this ensures that selections are unique in case nodes have the same title, but obviously this is a nasty thing to expose to the user. Has anyone had any success in removing these brackets, or adding a different unique identifier?
