  • How to load view-Templates from default when not available in module? Zend Framework

    Hi my problem with Zend Framework... unfortunately not solved after 3 hours of searching: I have a modular Zend Application, which is working fine if i have my module and error templates in the called module. If i delete error/error.phtml out of views/scripts/ a Fatal Error is showing up that there is no directory. To cut a long story short: How can i define that Zend falls back to default module in this situation? Many thanks in advance.

  • Actionscript NetStream.play drops port in relative URLs

    Hi, the current page my flash application is running from is http://localhost:3000/. I'm trying to play a video using NetStream.play(relativeURL) by using a relative URL (e.g. "myVideo.flv"), but when I look at the actual request made by actionscript, it's dropping the port number. (e.g. http://localhost/myVideo.flv). Is there something I can do on the flash side to make this work? Is anyone else having this problem?

    please help me how to play song during call if we are in same call both should listen that song, and call must be disconnected automatically once playing done... present my application behaving like,if i call to anyone once call lifted song is playing but i am only hearing that song but i want to do other person also should listen that song. but i found in one forum to do like : The closest thing you can do, is have the call set to speaker-phone and then play the voice over the speaker.sounds straight to the mic in a phone call then that would be done. but that i didn't find in API. please help me how to do if anyone knows this.

So I intend to change to another way to approach the goal. Here's my idea: Get a stream from http url. Decode the mp3 stream. Play the result from step 2.     When use entity framework for DAL tier, VS 2010 can create edmx for each database. Question: If I have a database with many tables, should I create only one edmx for all tables or mutiple edmx files? for example, maybe all security tables for one edmx file, other tables for another edmx file. If there is more than one, then in other tiers, there will have more then on ObjectContext in code for business logic. Which one it the best solution for this case?

I have found some MVC frameworks, and some of them support only PHP 5: PHP Frameworks PHP MVC Frameworks Model–view–controller on Wikipedia but can anyone recommend one of those MVC frameworks that plans to actively use PHP 5.3 features, not just being compatible with PHP 5.3?     I am looking at the websocket-chat example. It unveils much, but I still cannot get something. I understand how messages are received, processed and sent on the web page side. However, Play captures websocket messages by means of the receive method of an Akka actor. In the websocket-chat, there are several cases in this method, but I don't get, how does it know which websocket message should be mapped to which case. In fact, I don't understand the path that a websocket message follows upon entering Play's domain, how is it processed and how can different message types/kinds be sent from the webpage. I have not find any info or sources related to this. Could please someone explain this or point to some kind of a good reference? UPDATE: The link to the original example.

    I need to be able to play an encrypted file in Android. The file is AAC. The only way I can see to do this is either: decrypt the file to internal private storage and point the player at that file to play, or decrypt & decode the file to pcm and feed it to an AudioTrack. 1 isn't great because it takes a long time to do that. 2 isn't great either because I don't know how I can take advantage of the HW decoder to do this. Any ideas? tia.

    Entity Framework currently supports table valued functions and custom functions defined in the SSDL, but I can't find any example of it being used as a criteria, in the where clause. Example: var query = this.db.People; query = query.Where(p = FullText.ContainsInName(p.Id, "George")); In this example, ContainsInName is my custom function that I want to be executed in the where clause of the query. Is it supported?

  • .NET Framework - When to Upgrade?

    I’m faced with a challenge of leading two (currently) separate .NET development groups with different development strategies. One group is developing on the .NET Framework 2.0 (with maybe a few applications on 3.5). The other group immediately adopts any new framework that comes out, and begins coding any new applications with it (they are running 2.0-4.0 applications). For this last group, applications written in an earlier version than the latest framework do not get upgraded. What is the current school of thought when it comes to a company developing web applications on when to adopt a new framework, and whether to migrate applications built on previous versions to the latest framework or not? Years ago the thought was to wait until the technology became mainstream - but that doesn't seem to apply much now with .NET.

    I'm using entity framework model first development, and I need to do database migration often, The EF database generation power pack doesn't help a lot, because that data migration never worked here. The database migration here I mean, change the model, and then I can update the existing database from the model, but creating a new one. Is there any free of charge tool here invented here yet? Or would this going to be a new feature of next EF release? PS: I love django's ORM.

    hi all i am trying to make a musical app for iphone. the app is simple. there is a couple of musical note sample (caf) files. when user taps the predefined positions on uiview(like strings). app plays note sample and add a string value to a nsmutablearray about note. played note lists displays in a table. now i want to add a shake and play mode to app. when user shake iphone, recorded notes start to play from first record to last record and loop again. also if user shake iphone harder notes will plays faster. how can i do that. any idea? thanks
