    I want to hook new and delete operators. But I am unable to locate the original DLLs where these operators reside. I used msvcr90.dll, msvsr90d.dll, msvcrt.dll, kernal32.dll, ole32.dll and some more dlls as well. But my spying application is unable to locate new and delete operators. Kindly if someone could tell me in which DLL new and delete operators are defined.

  • Deploying Qt / MySQL application

    Hi everyone, I hadn't found a anwser on the web, so i ask to you. I am unable to run my compiled mysql driver on a deployment solution. On the pc A the app work fine when run with QtCreator, but via the .exe in the following working directory, the driver is not loaded : root/ -----/bin --------/app.exe --------/libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll --------/mingwm10.dll --------/QtCore4.dll --------/QtGui4.dll --------/QtSql4.dll -----/sqldrivers --------/libmysql.dll --------/qsqlmysql4.dll Whereas with libmysql.dll under bin/ driver is loaded. Now on the pc B, with no Qt or MySQL lib installation and with any of the 2 last working dir, the driver is not loaded. pc A : Qt 4.7 2010.05, Win 7 pc B : Win 7 Thanks for your help !

  • Versioning issues with assemblies

    Let's assume I have two assemblies: MyExecutable.dll version 1.0.0 MyClassLibrary.dll version 1.0.0 Now, MyExecutable.dll currently uses MyClassLibrary.dll's classes and methods (which include some algorithms). Most of those algorithms were made on the run, being that later I'll want to refine them if needed. This means, I won't change the interface of those classes but the code itself will see some changes. The question at hand is, MyExecutable.dll will be expecting MyClassLibrary.dll 1.0.0 and I'll want it to use version 1.0.1 (or something like that). I don't want to have to recompile MyExecutable.dll(because actually there might be more than just one executable using MyClassLibrary.dll). Is there a solution for this problem? I've heard about the GAC, but if possible I'd like to stay away from it. Thanks

  • Trying to launch old game using wine

    I'm using wine 1.5.11 on Archlinux, and I try to launch this old game : http://www.cnetfrance.fr/telecharger/waterboy-11006056s.htm?download=1 The problem is that I always get a "Run-time error '13' : Type mismatch" when I try to launch it.   • How to include the right reference in C# using the "Browser" tab

    Hello: I am working on VS2010 C# and I want to add a .dll reference compiled under VS2008; this .dll exists in 2 versions: Debug and Release. The .dll is not under .NET, COM or projects tabs, so I only have the "browser" tab to add the .dll to the reference. My question is: How can I indicate to VS to take the release .dll version when I compile in the release mode and to take the debug .dll version when I compile in the debug mode? Thanks.

    I am using a plugin DLL that I created in Visual C++ Express 2010 on windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Edition. The DLL functions properly on the machine that it was originally created on. The problem is that the DLL is not functioning in the Unity3d Editor on another machine and giving an error that basically states that the DLL is missing some of its dependencies. The target machine is running Windows 7 Home 64 bit (if this is relevant) Results from the error log of Dependency Walker: Error: The Side-by-Side configuration information for "c:\users\dewayne\desktop\shared\vrpnplugin\unityplugin\build\release\OPTITRACKPLUGIN.DLL" contains errors.     After running chkdsk C: /F /R and finding out that my hard disk has 24 KB in bad sectors (log is posted below), I decided to run Windows 7's System File Checker utility (sfc /scannow). SFC showed the ff. message after I ran it: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log."     hi guys, I got a gift from a friend, 2 readers for RFID, and some cards (from a Chinese company called daily rfid), the kind of work, because it comes with some demo software written in Delphi, that reads the id of the card (myfare compatible, ISO14443A ) but the problem is that if I try to use the demo to write to them, it doesnt seem to work, it have another demo written in c#, (compiled and executable from /bin/debug, the DL600DemoCSharp.exe), the software opens, but when click on connect, I get this error Unhanded exception.. unable to load DLL 'BasicB.DLL' so I load the dll on windows/system32, but when I try regsvr32 BasicB.dll I get, error the module "BasicB.dll" was loaded but hte entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "BasicB.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again have written to the company but no response, I program in objective C, so I kind of understand c#, but how to make this cards work? - shall I continue with the delphi, and try to write to them with it - or with c# - either way I would have to write the code to read write to them,, or is there any software to work with this modules?? thanks a lot!

    When trying to access the DNS service on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Build 3790) domain controller/schema master via the MMC DNS snap in or locally via the DNS MMC from Administrative tools I'm getting a red "X" through the icon for the DNS Server. The inability to access DNS management via MMC happens on all domain controllers as well. We've looked at items such as the DHCP client not being started, incorrect DNS setup ( the machine points at itself and another DC ), the DNS service not running ( it is and all DNS queries via NSLOOKUP work correctly ), dslint returns the correct information and functions as expected. There is the following entry in the DNS event log: The DNS server could not initialize the remote procedure call (RPC) service. If it is not running, start the RPC service or reboot the computer. The event data is the error code.     It's been a while since I've installed PHP for Windows, but every guide I've seen online tells me to set IIS to recognize .PHP files with php5isapi.dll. However, I can't seem to find php5isapi.dll anywhere after installing PHP 5.3.0 and PHP 5.2.10. If I recall correctly it should be in C:\InstallDir Am I missing something important?

Is there any benefit to expose web services from the class library and reference these as opposed to referencing the actual .dll (Although one benefit of the web service approach is the granularity and thus surface area exposed is up to you at coding time)?     I'm using watermark extenders on textboxes and an exception is being thrown from the AJAX Control Toolkit .dll. It's strange because this just started happening. I tried debugging from the Ajax solution and Ajax examples (but with my code), but no dice. Is there a way to step into the Ajax .dll from my solution to see where this is happening?

    Hi all, I need to obfuscate a dll that is used in a ASP.NET project, the deployment project pruduces a setup.exe which I want to distribute. I have the VS 2008 Dotfuscator installed but when I build the deployment project the project that creates the dll is rebuilt before it is added to the deployment project and added to the setup.exe. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem (14001)."
