  • SSRS 2008 Need to lookup customer name with largest order

    Hi, I'm creating an SSRS report which contains a table of orders, grouped by day. Now I can easily get the max order value for the day and put it in the group header by using the SSRS MAX() function. However, I also want to get the corresponding customer name who placed this order, and place this in the group header too. We can assume my result set simply contains date, name and order value. Is there any way to do this in SSRS 2008? Thanks

    Hello, I have a table with measures and the time this measures have been taken in the following form: MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM. I have measures over many days starting at the same time every day.The datas are minute by minute so basically the seconds are always = 0. I want to select only the measures for the first 5 minutes of each day. I would have used the where statement but the condition would only be on the minutes and note the date is there a way to do this? Thanks

    I was thinking of formatting it like this TYYYYMMDDNNNNNNNNNNX (1 character + 19 digits) Where T is type YYYY is year MM is month DD is day N is sequencial number X is check digit The problem is, how do I generate the sequencial number? since my primary key is not an auto increment integer value, if it was i would use that, but its not. EDIT can I have the sequencial number resets itself after 1 day (24hours).     I'm working on a Django timesheet application and am having trouble figuring out how to include aggregate sums that equal zero. If I do something like: entries = TimeEntry.objects.all().values("user__username").annotate(Sum("hours")) I get all users that have time entries and their sums. [{'username': u'bob' 'hours__sum':49}, {'username': u'jane' 'hours__sum':10}] When I filter that by a given day: filtered_entries = entries.filter(date="2010-05-17") Anyone who didn't enter time for that day is excluded. Is there a way to include those users who's sums are 0? Thanks
