    Hi, it is very strange, because this error doesn't happen all the time... However, if I change it to: ViewController *vc = [[ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"TableView" bundle:nil]; //[self.navigationController presentModalViewController:vc animated:YES]; [self setView:[vc view]]; The view appears just fine (without the transition, of course). What am I doing wrong? Is there anything special you have to take care of when initializing the view controller?     I'm new to R and unable to find other threads with a similar issue. I'm cleaning data that requires punctuation at the end of each line. I am unable to add, say, a period without overwriting the final character of the line preceding the carriage return + line feed. Sample code: Data1 <- "%trn: dads sheep\r\n*MOT: hunn.\r\n%trn: yes.\r\n*MOT: ana mu\r\n%trn: where is it?" Data2 <- gsub("[^[:punct:]]\r\n\\*", ".\r\n\\*", Data1) The contents of Data2: [1] "%trn: dads shee.\r\n*MOT: hunn.\r\n%trn: yes.\r\n*MOT: ana mu\r\n%trn: where is it?" Notice the "p" of sheep was overwritten with the period. Any thoughts on how I could avoid this?

Something like this: when I execute the uninstall.exe to ask me 'Do you want to keep all saved games?' YES or NO. If I hit YES my save files remain and my program files are uninstalled and if I hit NO my program files inclusive save files to be uninstalled. What is the PASCAL code for InnoSetup to do this?     Hi, I am using Ant script to generate javadoc and I just only wnt Ant to look for some classes based on a certain pattern, so I wrote: <javadoc access="public" source="1.6" sourcepath="src" destdir="dest" > <fileset dir="src" casesensitive="yes" defaultexcludes="yes"> <filename name="**/ABC*.java"/> </fileset> </javadoc> That means I only want Ant to look for source file that starts with "ABC" only and generate javadoc for these files. However, the results are awayls duplicate for each file starting with "ABC". Did I do something wrong? Thanks

    Yes, I know the following code does not work in IE. I know IE expects me to use XDomainRequest() instead. I don't care about that. This is firefox only. I'm trying to do a cross-domain web request in firefox javascript. I keep getting a status of 0.     Hi there, So to give a little background: I've an app that has a UITableViewController- (ContactDetailViewController) In this view at the top, I require a few labels and buttons, followed by a group style tableview. So I've created a nib file containing these elements. (ContactHeaderView.xib) Then in the viewDidLoad of ContactDetailViewController I've loaded this nib as the headerView.   • Cannot access new product attributes in grid display

    I added a couple new attribute to my products(a boolean "yes/no" fields). They are variables to enable/disable the price from displaying on the product detail page, and grid view. I managed to get it work on the product info page. But on product grid page I cant seem to access those variable. Specifically, the template i am working with is catalog/product/list.phtml. Ive tried adding them in the xml file like this layout/catalog.xml: <block type="catalog/product_list" name="product_list" template="catalog/product/list.phtml"> <action method="addAttribute"><name>DisplayPrice</name></action> <action method="addAttribute"><name>CustomOrder</name></action> </block> and I am trying to access the attributes like so in catalog/product/list.phtml: <?php echo $_product->getDisplayPriceName()?   • Application crashing on getting updated information from database using timer and storing it on loca

    In our multi - user application we are continuously interacting with database. We have a common class through which we are sending POST queries to database and obtaining xml files in return. We are using delegates of NSXMLParser to parse the obtained file. The problem with us is we are facing many crashes in it generally when application is idle and changed data in database is being fetched in background through timer which is invoked after every few seconds. We have also dealt with error handling through try and catch but it proves to be of no use in this case and mostly application crashes with following error : Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS) Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000020 Strange thing is that many times the fetching of updated data at background works very fine, same methods being successfully executed under similar conditions but suddenly it crashes on one of them. The only thing it does is receives incoming calls and executes a Perl script. No outgoing calls, no incoming calls to an actual phone, no phones registered with Asterisk. It seems like there should be an easy way to block all unauthorized registration attempts, but I have struggled with this for a long time. It seems like there should be a more effective way to prevent these attempts from even getting far enough to reach my Asterisk logs. Some setting I could turn on/off that doesn't allow registration attempts at all or something. Is there any way to do this? Also, am I correct in assuming that the "Registration from ..." messages are likely people attempting to get access to my Asterisk server (probably to make calls on my account)? And what's the difference between those messages and the "Sending fake auth rejection ..." messages? Further detail: I know that the "Registration from ..." lines are intruders attempting to get access to my Asterisk server. With Fail2Ban set up, these IPs are banned after 5 attempts (for some reason, one got 6 attempts, but w/e). But I have no idea what the "Sending fake auth rejection ..." messages mean or how to stop these potential intrusion attempts. As far as I can tell, they have never been successful (haven't seen any weird charges on my bills or anything). Here's what I have done: Set up hardware firewall rules as shown below. Here, xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the server, yy.yy.yy.yy is the IP address of our facility, and aa.aa.aa.aa, bb.bb.bb.bb, and cc.cc.cc.cc are the IP addresses that our VoIP provider uses.   • Do I correctly understand what a class is?

    I've had trouble finding a clear, concise laymans definition of a class. Usually, they give general ideas without specifically spelling it out, and I'm wondering if I'm understanding this correctly. As I understand it, a class is the set of code that controls an object. For example, in an app that has a button for 'Yes' and a button for 'No', and a text box for output, the code that tells the computer what to do when the user uses the Yes button is one class, the code for hitting No is another class, and an object is the two buttons and what they do together to influence the output box. Am I right, or am I confusing terms here? Thanks

  • Popup window keeps opening after I close it and refresh the page?

    I have an aspx.cs page with the following code: hypPopup.Attributes.Add("onclick", "window.open('Popup.aspx', '', 'height=650, width=800, location=no, toolbar=no, status=no, scrollbars=yes, resizable=yes'); return false" ); When I click the hypPopup link, the window pops up which is fine, but if I close it and refresh the page, the popup keeps popping up. I have to leave the page and come back for it to stop popping up on every refresh. Is this behavior by default or is there a fix to it? hypPopup.Attributes.Add is done in the Page_Load
