  I'm trying to do something but I can't find any solution, I'm also having some trouble putting it into works so here is a sample code, maybe it'll be enough to demonstrate what I'm aiming for: $input = array ( 'who' => 'me', 'what' => 'car', 'more' => 'car', 'when' => 'today', ); Now, I want to use array_splice() to remove (and return) one element from the array: $spliced = key(array_splice($input, 2, 1)); // I'm only interested in the key... The above will remove and return 1 element (third argument) from $input (first argument), at offset 2 (second argument), so $spliced will hold the value more. I'll be iterating over $input with a foreach loop, I know the key to be spliced but the problem is I don't know its numerical offset and since array_splice only accepts integers I don't know what to do. A very dull example: $result = array(); foreach ($input as $key => $value) { if ($key == 'more') { // Remove the index "more" from $input and add it to $result. $result[] = key(array_splice($input, 2 /* How do I know its 2? */, 1)); } } I first though of using array_search() but it's pointless since it'll return the associative index....   I have a few tables with the following relationships: Company hasMany Jobs, Employees, and Trucks, Users I've got all my foreign keys set up properly, along with the tables' Models, Controllers, and Views. Originally, the Jobs table had a boolean field called "assigned". The following find operation (from the JobsController) successfully returns all employees, all trucks, and any jobs that are not assigned and fall on a certain day for a single company (without returning users by utilizing the containable behavior): $this->set('resources', $this->Job->Company->find('first', array( 'conditions' => array( 'Company.id' => $company_id ), 'contain' => array( 'Employee', 'Truck', 'Job' => array( 'conditions' => array( 'Job.assigned' => false, 'Job.pickup_date' => date('Y-m-d', strtotime('Today')); ) ) ) ))); Now, since writing this code, I decided to do a lot more with the job assignments. So I've created a new model "Assignment" that belongsTo Truck and belongsTo Job. I've added the hasMany Assignments to both the Truck model and the Jobs Model. I have both foreign keys in the assignments table, along with some other assignment fields. Now, I'm trying to get the same information above, only instead of checking the assigned field from the job table, I want to check the assignments table to ensure that the job does not exist there. I can no longer use the containable behavior if I'm going to use the "joins" feature of the find method due to mysql errors (according to the cookbook). How can I calculate the total fee of a given date range (user input) depending on how many days of this date range fall into season 1 and season 2?   I'm creating a database with what I anticipate will be a long (perhaps several paragraphs for some tuples) attribute. I'm assigning it text instead of varchar. I have two questions: Should I give a maximum value for the text field? Is this necessary? Is it useful? Since the contents of this field will be displayed on a website in HTML, do I need to include paragraph tags for paragraph formatting when I enter records into mysql?

This because I have actually made everything in a folder called "SV", so my site is located in : "www/SV/index.html" My Q is, on the server, could I just create a folder named "SV" under "www" and expect index.html to be automatically displayed ones the users type in the web-adress to my site? • ldap login form works, but need to add active-directory group access

  I created a form that asks you to log in, then verifies the user/pass against the ldap server/active-directory, if successful, it creates a session, which will be checked on every page. Now I want to check the session, which is the username of the person who is logged in, and do a search for them using ldap_search, so I can check what group they belong to and pass that group thru a function to verify that they can view that page. Each page will accessible to a certain group or groups of users, which those groups are defined within Active Directory. I am unsure on how I can do that using ldap_search, or maybe that is just one piece of the puzzle I am trying to solve. Any help is appreciated - thank you! • Tweak Data in Doctrine Migration (say, by running some arbitrary queries)

  I've got a migration that creates a couple of columns that act as foreign keys. In particular, I'm adding a creator_id and owner_id column to a model. These foreign keys indicate who created, and who currently owns, a particular kind of domain object. Users are managed by sfDoctrineGuardPlugin. What I'd like to do, for the purpose of the migration, is look up the (active) user with the lowest id, and default creator_id/owner_id to that. I don't see any particularly obvious/proper way to run arbitrary operations on the database during a migration. Does anyone know how?

• Accessing controller methods inside a model with Kohana/MVC Framework

  Hi all, I need to able to access controller methods from a model using the Kohana V2.3 framework. At the moment I'm passing the controller object (by ref.) to the model on creation which works perfectly fine but I can't help think there is a more "cleaner" way - does anybody have any suggestions? • Presta Shop Switching Domain Issue

  I have a website made on Presta Shop CMS. I had it on my trial server. The installation and everything. It works and runs fine. I then copied (using FTP) every file from my trial server to the main domain. I did not install it on the main domain (bought from network solutions), but copied everything there. The issue is when i hit the main domain, it somewhat redirects me back to the trial server. I have checked and changed many of the default values. and many values in the database. But still havent had luck. Also made changes in the .htaccess file, still without any luck. I do not want to go through the installation process again on my main domain. You can check the site (main domain :- www.myworld-myhome.com, it will redirect you to hrm.com/esol/ )

  hi, i am using rawurlencode($url_variable) while passing to a script.. when i receive the variable in the script ,before passing this variable to mysql ,i was doing mysql_real_escape_string . now the problem is like when there is a variable like $url_variable = "Off-St.Mark's-Road" ...after i do mysql_real_escape_string it become slike Off-St.Mark\\'s-Road . which is creating a problem in mysql query ... how i get over this...rawurlencode is necessary to pass variables to the script and i want to do mysql_real_escape_string to make the data safe...
