    Hi, I am trying to install libsoup for my ubuntu environment: checking for LIBSOUP... configure: error: Package requirements (libsoup-2.4 >= 2.28.2) were not met: No package 'libsoup-2.4' found I tried $ sudo apt-get install libsoup2.4-dev and now it said: checking for LIBSOUP... configure: error: Package requirements (libsoup-2.4 >= 2.28.2) were not met: Requested 'libsoup-2.4 >= 2.28.2' but version of libsoup is 2.4.1 Thanks for any suggestion in how to fix this problem.

    I was doing a project for computer course on programming concepts. This project was to be completed in C++ using Object Oriented designs we learned throughout the course. Anyhow, I have two files symboltable.h and symboltable.cpp. I want to use a map as the data structure so I define it in the private section of the header file. I #include <map> in the cpp file before I #include "symboltable.h". I get several errors from the compiler (MS VS 2008 Pro) when I go to debug/run the program the first of which is: Error 1 error C2146: syntax error : missing ';' before identifier 'table' c:\users\jsmith\documents\visual studio 2008\projects\project2\project2\symboltable.h 22 Project2 To fix this I had to #include <map> in the header file, which to me seems strange.     I'm trying to load up xml into an XmlDocument, but it doesn't recognize the encoded '&eacute' and throws an error 'An error occurred while parsing Entity Name'. Now I can add a custom entity set in a DTD of my xml, so the XmlDocument loads properly. But what I'm hoping is that I can reference a url that has a common set of these ISO Latin encoded characters. Is this possible, or do I need to inject a custom list of DTD sets?

    Hello, .NET 4.0 I am looking for the easiest way to generate a Word document on our server. Limitations : Server side I don't want to install word on the server Data source is XML I tried to generate a DOCX with XSLT which is fast and easy but the only way I could find to validate the generated document is to open it with Word and the only error I get when the document is not valid is "Error while opening document".   • Application doesn't start

    Hello, I am having a rather strange problem, I deployed 2 .NET applications on my machine. Both run on v2.0. Now, while one of it works smoothly, the other one doesn't even start! Moreover, it doesn't throw any error, I couldn't see any error listings in the Event Viewer. Becoming hard to debug. On every other machine, both the exe's work perfectly fine! Any known issues?   • Django manage.py can't find an INSTALLED_APP even though the module is in the path

    When I run python manage.py shell I get an error about the last app I've added to INSTALLED_APP, namely django_evolution, saying it's an undefined module. This is despite the fact that I've added the path to django_evolution to the system path. In fact right after this error I can run python and do an import on django_evolution and everything is fine. Why isn't django or python seeing this module when clearly it's been setup and even added to the path?

    I am trying to set up a class with commonly used tasks, such as preparing strings for input into a database and creating a PDO object. I would like to include this file in other class files and extend those classes to use the common class' code. However, when I place the common class in its own file and include it in the class it will be used in, I receive an error that states the second class cannot be found. For example, if the class name is foo and it is extending bar (the common class, located elsewhere), the error says that foo cannot be found. But if I place the code for class bar in the same file as foo, it works.
