• Remove extra junk from C proprocessor?

  I'm trying to use the C proprocessor on non-C code, and it works fine except for creating lines like this at the top: # 1 "test.java" # 1 "<built-in>" # 1 "<command-line>" # 1 "test.java" The problem is that these lines aren't valid in Java. Is there any way to get the preprocessor to not write this stuff? I'd prefer not to have to run this through something else to just remove the first 4 lines every time.

  The compile output says no% in line 240 of the makefile. For each file, I'd like to know how much time is spent on each line of the program. I'm working on a project, some files have huge compile times, I'm trying to figure out why.   I'm trying to write from a loop to a data frame in R, for example a loop like this for (i in 1:20) { print(c(i+i,i*i,i/1))} and to write each line of 3 values to a data frame with three columns, so that each iteration takes on a new row.
