    There is a web service running on tomcat on a server. It is built on Java Servlet. It is listening others to call itself on a SSL enabled http port. so its web service adreess looks like: https://172.29.12.12/axis/services/XYZClient?wsdl On the other hand I want to connect the web service above from a windows application which is built on .NET frame work. Finally, when I want to connect the web service from my computer; I get some specific erros; Firstly I get; Proxy authentication error; then I added some new line to my code; Dim cr As System.Net.NetworkCredential = New System.Net.NetworkCredential("xname", "xsurname", "xdomainname") Dim myProxy As New WebProxy("http://mar.xxxyyy.com", True) myProxy.Credentials = cr Secondly, after this modifications It says that bad request. I did not get over this error. Moreover I did try to connect the web server on the same computer. I copied my executable program to the computer where the web service runs. The error was like; The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for SSL/TLS secure channel PS: When I try to connect to web service by using Internet Explorer; I see firstly some warnings about accepting an unknown certificate and I click take me to web service an I get there clearly.   • import text file containing line breaks into excel

    I have a plain text file looking like this: "some text containing line breaks" I'm trying to talk excel 2004 (Mac, v.11.5) into opening this file correctly. I'd expect to see only one cell (A1) containing all of the above (without the quotes)... But alas, I can't make it happen, because Excel seems to insist on using the CR's as row delimiters, even if I set the text qualifier to double quote. I was sort of hoping that Excel would understand that those line breaks are part of the value - they are embedded in double quotes which should qualify them as part of the value. So my Excel sheet has 5 rows, which is not what I want. I also tried this Applescript to no avail: tell application "Microsoft Excel" activate open text file filename ¬ "Users:maximiliantyrtania:Desktop:linebreaks" data type delimited ¬ text qualifier text qualifier double quote ¬ field info {{1, text format}} ¬ origin Macintosh with tab end tell If I could tell Excel to use a row delimiter other than CR (or LF), well, I'd be a happy camper, but excel seems to allow the change of the field delimiter only, not the row delimiter. IE, if they type in "john" it will say "John Smith" or any john in their contacts.   • OpenGL GL_LINES enpoints not joining

    I'm having problems with the GL_LINES block... the lines in the sample below do not connect on the ends (although sometimes it randomly decides to connect a corner or two). Instead, the endpoints come within 1 pixel of one another (leaving a corner that is not fully squared; if that makes sense).   • MS Excel not installed after uninstalling Crystal Reports Viewer

    I recently tried out the free Crystal Reports Viewer. I installed it on my work computer, but it didn't load (crashed on the EULA agreement of all places). After uninstalling the viewer, however, MS Excel 2003 does 3 things: "An error occurred initializing the VBA libraries (1004)" "Microsoft Excel has not been installed for the current user" Excel then closes. Did uninstalling the CR Viewer take some Microsoft DLLs with it? How do I get Excel working again?

I would like it to work so that when the opposite directional key is pressed, the character will stop; the character may move the other two directions while stopped in this situation. This works perfectly with LEFT and RIGHT held down; the player may move UP or DOWN. Maybe I could understand most of the spaces and PS ("Paragraph separator"), but what are "Next Line" and "Line separator" good for? It all looks like invented by a very big committee where everybody wanted their own space and the leaders were granted one line break each. But seriously, how do you deal with it when your programming language doesn't support it (or does it wrong as e.g. Java does)?

  • Advice On Price Comparison Affiliate Programs

    I want a price comparison feature on my site similar to Consumer Reports' "Price & Shop" section. They use PriceGrabber.com, but as far as I can tell they have a special deal with CR, so I can't get a similar service for my site. I've gathered that I need to use an affiliate network, but the whole thing seems so shady, I don't really know what sites are legit, and I don't know what sites offer the price comparison feature. Datafeedfile.com comes up a lot during my searches, but the ugly site makes me wary. Does anyone have any experience with this? What affiliate networks do you recommend? Or should I be looking at something else altogether?

    Typical things to worry about when dealing with text are the BOM/signature, encoding, and the end of line (EOL) char/chars. I know that Windows often favours \r\n (CR+LF) and Mac/Linux favours \n (LF), but how about mobile devices such as the iPhone and Android? Do typical apps on those platforms favour one or the other? Also, which text encodings are mobiles most likely to use - UTF-8, iso-8859-1, or even Windows 1252 (or other default codepage) or maybe even UTF-16? And if they use UTF-8/16, are they likely to need (or require not having) a BOM/signature? What is the typical behavior here?

    Ext4 FS has claimed 3% of partition space. Where has this gone and can I get it reclaimed? I have tried disabling Journals for the ext4 partition. Even this is not helping.     I was spending some time browsing around Facebook today (translation: wasting time), when I noticed that they have some shortcut keys for navigating around the site using the keyboard, so I put together a list for everybody.
