    I have this code: hubSpinner.setOnItemSelectedListener(new OnItemSelectedListener() { public void onItemSelected(AdapterView<?> parentView, View selectedItemView, int position, long id) { final MediaPlayer mp2 = MediaPlayer.create(Textbox.this, R.raw.hero); mp2.start(); } public void onNothingSelected(AdapterView<?> parentView) { } }); (The code basically runs when a new item is selected of a spinner and then plays a song, -which later will be a variable based on what was picked, but i'm fine as it is for now) Problem: And I want to be able to use 'mp2' out of this public void, (I want a button which pauses it) How can I do this?     as i said i get this horrible error i dont really know what to do anymore float n= xAxis[i].Normalize(); thats where i get the error and i get it cuz normalize is a void function this is it void CVector::normalize() { float len=Magnitude(); this->x /= len; this->y /= len; } i need normalize to stay as void tho i tried normal casting like this float n= (float)xAxis[i].Normalize(); and it doesnt work also with static,dynamic cast,reinterpret,const cast and cant make it work any help would be really apreciated... thank you .<

    After I installed emacs this error occurs every time on startup. It prevents me from installing plugins, e.g. auctex via aptitude. I already tried to install a plugin by hand (rails for ruby), but doesn't work. The error doesn't contain the message "hostname", but the hostname of my PC is displayed ("bloodredangel-ubuntu"). I changed my hostname to "bloodredangel", but the error message stays the same. While I changed my hostname I saw that in /etc/hostname were two entries: 127.0.0.1 bloodredangel-ubuntu I already asked this question in an ubuntu forum but they couldn't help. They recognised an misconfigured /etc/hosts file, which I corrected, but from time to time these incorrect configurations get attached by something. I didn't add them by hand, maybe it has something to do with the issue. The misconfigurations looked like this: 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 bloodredangel-ubuntu localhost.localdomain localhost 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1:8080 bloodredangel-ubuntu localhost.localdomain localhost I didn't found a solution on the internet, so I hope I will find help here finally.

    Hi all I've got the problem that the UIAlertViewDelegate method - (void)alertViewCancel:(UIAlertView *)alertView is not called when I cancel a AlertView with it's cancel button. Weird is that the delegate method - (void)alertView:(UIAlertView *)alertView clickedButtonAtIndex:(NSInteger)buttonIndex works perfectly. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance Sean

  • Ultra high pitched noice coming from computer

    It happened twice today, first a few minutes after turning on the computer (stopped by itself after a few minutes), then several hours later after I had turned my computer off, it started emitting a faint, ultra high pitched noise. The noise is not very loud, and almost to high pitch to be audible, but definitely noticeable for my ears. I sleep in the same room as my computer, so at first I was confused when I had just turned it off and started hearing the noise, so I went out of the room to check if the noise was in my head, but no it was definitely coming from the comp. It stopped when I turned it back on. What can be the possible causes for this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

    I work a lot from my home office and being in general a tad paranoid I have cable and DSL pipes coming into my house. I have used an Ebay bought Sonicwall Tz170 with the enhanced OS for a good while. I believe it does failover and has a feature for doing round robin on which connection is used. I get the impression from using it that I might not be getting the most out of this setup. Is it possible/likely that my router could be a cause of the slowdown? Are there more appropriate choices?

    Hi Guys, I have installed the above update through Windows Update. The update went through, reported a successful installation, and then straight after that it came back as an available update. I have done it a few times and my update log now contains multiple successful installations of KB995706. I have tried to uncheck it in the list of updates but it keeps coming back as well. The machine is a Server 2008 RC2 Standard. It's got SQL Server 2005 Express as well as SQL Server 2008 Standard. In the Event Log: Installation Successful: Windows successfully installed the following update: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 3 (KB955706) followed by Installation Ready: The following updates are downloaded and ready for installation.   • Conficker keeps coming back

    I hadn't run into anyone who actually got this virus until recently when dealing with a new client that didn't believe in patching their systems and consquently have been hit with this pest. I was under the impression that if you have KB958644 installed and ran the latest malicious software removal tool that conficker would be squashed. I have several systems that are fully patched, MSRT has removed the virus yet the bugger keeps coming back. This has even happened to a file server and a Domain Controller. What am I missing here? They are running AVG which I used to recommend but I have been doubting it's effectiveness over the past year or so.

So this should forbid direct access to SERVER2:8082 and redirect to SERVER1:80 .
