  • Changing the default TestRunner in Eclipse.

    All tests should be run with jUnit3, if i run a non-configured Test, it tries to use the default-TestRunner (jUnit4). So, i have to go into the run/debug configuration, change the TestRunner to "jUnit3" and run it again. On EVERY Test. This just disturbs the workflow. So, is there an option to REMOVE jUnit4 as possible TestRunner, or even better, change the Default TestRunner to jUnit3 ? Thanks in Advance,

Everytime I run the application, it says "No settings stored !". It's scope is user.

    In my application I have <Rectangle.Margin> <MultiBinding Converter="{StaticResource XYPosToThicknessConverter}"> <Binding Path="XPos"/> <Binding Path="YPos"/> </MultiBinding> </Rectangle.Margin> The Data Context is set during runtime. The application works, but the design window in VS does not show a preview but System.InvalidCastException. That’s why I added a default object in the XYPosToThicknessConverter which is ugly. class XYPosToThicknessConverter : IMultiValueConverter { public object Convert(object[] values, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { // stupid check to give the design window its default object. if (!(values[0] is IConvertible)) return new System.Windows.Thickness(3, 3, 0, 0); // useful code and exception throwing starts here // ... } } My Questions: What does VS/the process that builds the design window pass to XYPosToThicknessConverter and what is way to find it out by myself.     Hi all, We have a updatable web site project that is written in c#, it has the usual web form implementation using master page, skins, user controls,...etc. Up to this point we neglect to change the default compilation language from VB to C#. However, the second we change it, we see the following error. Further investigation points out that this error is getting generated from a Theme related assembly (Source : App_Theme_Default.zclakrlo). Any ideas? One of my co-worker suggested that it might be skin file related since we have a theme call "Default" and there is no way to specify a language on a skin file. Therefore, when the asp.net runtime tries to compile it under C#, it will give a name collision? Does this make sense? Any help is appreciated.

  • Codeigniter only loads the default controller

    I am very new to CodeIgniter, but have been programming PHP for ages. I'm writing some software at the moment and using CI for the first time with it. The default controller is set to the first controller I want to action call 'login' (the controller is login.php, the view is login.php. When the form is submitted it calls the 'authenticate' controller. This executes fine, process the login data correctly and then does a redirect command (without any output to the screen prior) to the next page in this case 'newspage'. The problem is that the redirect, never reaches 'newspage' but the default controller runs again. It doesn't matter what I put ... ht tp://domain.name/anything ... (yes im using .htaccess to remove the index.php) the anything never gets called, just the default controller. I have left the standard 'welcome.php' controller and 'welcome_message.php' in the folders and even putting ht tp://domain.name/welcome all I get is the login screen! (Obviously there shouldn't be a space between the http - thats just done so it does not show as a hyperlink!) Can anyone tell me what i've done wrong!

Is there is technique to set a default value for that field, preferably a space (I am running into weird formatting issues with CSS). The html form way of value="" doesn't work, neither does setting a default value in the XML schema.   • rails override default getter for a relationship (belongs_to)

    So I know how to override the default getters for attributes of an ActiveRecord object using def custom_getter return self[:custom_getter] || some_default_value end I'm trying to achieve the same thing however for a belongs to association. For instance. class Foo < AR belongs_to :bar def bar return self[:bar] || Bar.last end end class Bar < AR has_one :foo end When I say: f = Foo.last I'd like to have the method f.bar return the last Bar, rather than nil if that association doesn't exist yet. This doesn't work however. The reason is that self[:bar] is always undefined. It's actually self[:bar_id]. I can do something naive like: def bar if self[:bar_id] return Bar.find(self[:bar_id]) else return Bar.last end end However this will always make a db call, even if Bar has already been fetched, which is certainly not ideal. Does anyone have an insight as to how I might have a relationship such that the belongs_to attribute is only loaded once and has a default value if not set.

  • Program seems to get stuck ?

    I have a Java program, I did some change and the strange thing is no matter what I do now, it will output the same result before my change, I looked into my system (Windows Vista), and clicked on "Generate a system health report", the result says : Symptom : A service is reported as having an unexpected error code Cause : One or more services has failed. The service did not stop gracefully, suggesting the service may have crashed or one of its components stopped in an unsupported way. Details : Service exited with code not equal to 0 or 1077 Resolution : Restart the service It doesn't say which service, and I defragmented my drives a few times, it still gave me the same report. I also checked my memory, it says no problem with ram. Everything else is ok, I re-started the windows a few times, got more free space on my C: drive, yet the Java program is still not responding to my new changes, unless I intentionally make a mistake, it gives me compile error, but if it can compile successfully, it still gives me the results before the change. What can I do to fix this ? Frank

    In Microsoft Windows, there is a (highly useful) feature that automatically moves the cursor to the default button of a modal dialog box (activated in Win+R, "control mouse"). Now I have created a custom dialog box in Delphi (basically a TForm), see below. But, quite naturally, the cursor does not automatically move to the default button ("Yes" in this case), even though the feature is turned on in "control mouse". How to implement this feature using Windows API? I guess it would be sufficient to obtain the settings as a boolean (true if feature activated, false if not), and then simply move the cursor programmatically using SetCursorPos if true. But how to obtain this setting?

I created a live USB to boot from using this: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/ and the system boots up into Ubuntu from the USB stick, great! bad news is I am presented with a login form.... I did not set a password so I have no idea what it could be.... username: other password: I have tried no password, no luck... I tried ubuntu, no luck Any Ideas why it has a password, and what it might be or how I can set the password?

    I have an old c++ application that needs to be modified to work with windows 7. Problem is in creating a new folder and saving a file in that folder. This folder should be created in c:\program files\myApp\data\newFolder. This is function I use to create new folder and get errors: if(!CreateDirectory(pathSamples,NULL)) //Throw Error { DWORD errorcode = GetLastError(); LPVOID lpMsgBuf; FormatMessage(FORMAT_MESSAGE_ALLOCATE_BUFFER | FORMAT_MESSAGE_FROM_SYSTEM | FORMAT_MESSAGE_IGNORE_INSERTS, NULL, errorcode, MAKELANGID(LANG_NEUTRAL, SUBLANG_DEFAULT), (LPTSTR)&lpMsgBuf, 0, NULL ); MessageBox(NULL, (LPCTSTR)lpMsgBuf, TEXT("Error"), MB_OK); } In XP this works, but in Windows 7 it doesn't. If I run application as administrator than the folder is created, otherwise "Access is denied" error is thrown. My question is following: Is there an option to make changes to the code so that the folder can be created in "program files" nad that files can be saved in this folder?     When creating my own class in Qt I would like my variables in the class to have a standard/default value if I haven't set them to anything. It would be perfect if this was possible to set in the h-file so I don't have to do it in each instance method of my class. You can see what I want to do in the code below. In the example myBool would have the value of false and myInt the value of 0 when the object have been created. Is this possible at all?   • Set Default DateTime Format c#

    Is there a way of setting or overriding the default DateTime format for an entire application. I am writing an app in C# .Net MVC 1.0 and use alot of generics and reflection. Would be much simpler if I could override the default DateTime.ToString() format to be "dd-MMM-yyyy". I do not want this format to change when the site is run on a different machine. Edit - Just to clarify I mean specifically calling the ToString, not some other extension function, this is because of the reflection / generated code. Would be easier to just change the ToString output.
